BE
CAREFUL
This
hotel
left
me
stranded
in
a
foreign
country
late
at
night
as
they
resold
my
room
less
than
2
hours
before
I
was
supposed
to
check
in.
I
booked
this
hotel
for
2
nights
through
their
website.
The
room
was
fully
paid
for.
I
booked
a
non-refundable
room.
I
then
enquired
via
email
about
moving
the
booking
&
cancelling
all
together.
I
was
informed
that
if
I
cancelled
I
would
lose
all
money
due
to
the
booking
conditions
but
could
be
offered
a
voucher.
Due
to
this
I
decided
to
do
best
to
make
use
of
my
booking.
The
last
email
I
received
from
them
was
on
28th
July
2022
inviting
me
to
cancel
(I
did
not
cancel).
I
then
received
an
email
from
‘Francisco
DIMAYUGA’
on
the
10th
August
at
14.19
less
than
2
hours
before
I
was
supposed
to
check
in
informing
me
that
they
are
‘gonna
hold
your
reservation
until
your
1st
December
2022’.
I
then
turned
up
to
check
in
and
was
informed
the
hotel
was
full
they
had
no
rooms.
They
did
not
give
me
my
money
back
on
the
same
day
so
I
could
book
alternative
accommodation.
They
did
not
help
in
finding
alternative
accommodation
either.
I
spoke
to
the
manager
on
the
phone
who
said
it
was
my
fault
as
I
had
enquired
about
cancelling
the
booking.
Then
on
the
11th
August
I
received
an
email
from
‘Emilie
BOUDERLIQUE’
stating
that
it
was
‘To
our
great
surprise’
that
I
had
turned
up
to
to
check
in
for
the
booking
that
was
fully
paid
for.
There
was
no
sincere
apology
from
Emilie
or
offer
of
a
refund.
I
had
to
explicitly
state
I
wanted
my
money
back
as
they
had
cancelled
my
booking
without
confirmation
from
me.
After
this
money
was
refunded.
After
this
experience
I
will
never
book
to
stay
at
a
Campanile
hotel
again.
