We've been there end of August, at the end of our vacation in France, and it truly was the best (dinner-) experience we had! Just check the pictures.... Food & Service was REALLY incredible. I would rate 6 stars if possible! The restaurant itself looks quite unspectacular: Small, functional furniture with wineracks, located in a side street close to the beach. Normally you would walk past it. But: JUST.GO.THERE!!!!

I’ve been eyeing this place for some time given it’s high rating, but i’ve had doubts as the place didn’t look impressive from the road - a typical « pass through ». Fortunately, i had a chance to overcome my prejudice and to have my lunch there. Amazing! Food was delicious and served in a Michelin-star manner. The fish really melted in my mouth and i had to behave and not to lick the plate afterwards. Give this place a try. It definitely deserves it (apart from extremely modest price).

First night in nice and my friends and I were looking for some good food. Walking by the restaurant, you may not even take a second glance but PLEASE STOP AND EAT HERE! The food was so well prepared and presented. Did I mention the chef is also the host/server also? Truly a small local business with high quality service. Laurent was very pleasant and amicable. The lamb was cooked perfectly. My friend ordered the rabbit and it was so well seasoned! Reasonably priced, delicious food!!!

What a hidden gem! I wasn't expect too much for a small local restaurant. But the food is exceptional! So far the best food I've had in Nice! The tuna tataki fits perfectly with citrus vinaigrette. The duck leg and fillet are cooked just so right. They are tender and tasty. I also love the green beans. It reminds me of home. I'll definitely come again the next time I visit Nice.

I had the best dinner experience ever. The place itself doesn’t really look inviting but who cares? Food is just amazing and delicious. We cannot speak French, the owner cannot speak English. Just get anything from the menu and you’ll get satisfied and more. Go, go and go!!

This restaurant is a little far from Vieux Nice, however it is easily access by public transportation. The food was great. Bigger portions than the restaurants in Vieux Port. Only one waiter was serving around nine tables but he was always on the spot. The menu was in French but he spoke decent English.

This is the best restaurant we have visited in our 10 days in Nice. The food has exquisite and complex tastes and textures and is presented beautifully. The maitre runs a tight ship and knows the difference between right and wrong. This enhances the atmosphere. Book. Arrive on time. And behave well.

This was a great little find...the owner/chef/waiter runs a one-man show with grace and efficiency, and does an amazing job of taking care of all aspects of the restaurant. We were quite surprised to find out that he was front of house and also running the kitchen, but he certainly knows what he is doing. We had the starter/main/dessert menu, and it was an excellent value given the quality. Presentation, flavor, portions were all wonderful. Next time we are in Nice, we will absolutely return.

Just excellent. Modern French cuisine with a clear passion. Make sure you book up in advance as the resturant is buzzing and popular.

Amazing! A proper local restaurant ran by just 2 people serving and cooking. But oh my the food was exceptional. I'm so annoyed i forgot to take pics of the starters and mains but we all shared them between 5 of us. Did get some pics of the deserts though.They explained the menu (as it was in French) -you know your in a good place when the menu is in french only! And they let us take pram in with my little nephew. Don't miss out on this place if your here. Best food we've had in nice!

Amazing food for a good price, nice wine and super friendly (but busy) chef. We really enjoyed it and came back the day after. The lamb is too good and a must try.

Entrepreneurial chef! Seats you, takes your order & proceeds to prepare your plate. Unassumingly humble decor. Quality food at very reasonable prices for the Côte d'Azur. Had the Norwegian Salmon pavé with trupet zucchini, on gnocchi, Deserves a stop.

[RACIST ALERT] The service here is incredibly poor!! The restaurant seems to be understaffed; we waited 20 minutes just for water. Despite calling our server multiple times, he never looked our way even when our bottle was empty. To our embarrassment, we had to eat our foie gras without bread because we couldn't get his attention to fulfill our request!! 😡😡 When we walked up to him and asked for the Wi-Fi password, he promised it later, but we waited another 15 minutes. Even when we tried to signal him, he either didn't notice or chose not to respond. In the entire dining experience, he NEVER checked if we needed anything or asked if we had a good time. The food was good, but the dining experience was dreadful, and I will never recommend this or eat here again! [After providing the server our feedback] He said maybe you shouldn’t be here! Now I fully understand it, such a RACIST!!
