Myself and my boyfriend really enjoyed this walking tour yesterday. I visited several places and liked them a lot! THNX a lot for your engagement and energy!!. Our group only had 7 in it, which meant everyone could hear easily and made the whole experience very relaxed. Chris, the guide, was full of energy and obvious love for his city- his stories had a lovely balance of humour and facts which made it a pleasure to listen to him for two hours! :)

Chris led an excellent tour that was informative and funny with facts and stories aplenty. His loud voice and energy entertained and propelled the group onwards despite the sweltering sunshine. He also made sure that no-one was left behind! From the Opera and the Queen, past trompe l’oile, through the Old Town labyrinth to the Sun King and the Castle on the Hill, we left the tour to see the city with open eyes. Highly recommended.

Chris was amazing. I was late due to awful uber but he was able to share his location(which I didn't think was possible) and I was able go meet up with the tour. Chris knowledge of Nice was fantastic. I learned soo much.

This was definitely a great way to start out our stay in Nice. Our tour guide's name was Chris, and he was super friendly and made the walk fun. It was super hot when we went, so make sure you bring a bottle of water with you and good walking shoes if you go during the summer. Chris made sure that we were in the shade as much as possible, but it was still pretty hot despite his best efforts. 

Chris was very knowledgable about the city's history, and really great about offering to take photos of anyone who wanted a picture, which I appreciated. As we went along, he recommended his favorite restaurants, coffee/ice cream spots, etc., and then sent us a full list of his recommendations afterwards. We even stopped for ice cream on this trip, so make sure you bring some cash.

One tip for anyone doing this tour - if you want to get lunch right away after the tour, I would write down the name of the restaurants he recommends, even though he emails the list to you afterwards. It takes him some time to send the email (understandable - he needs to get home, type out everything, etc.) so if you want to eat lunch right after the tour, just make sure you have the name of your chosen restaurant handy so you can put it in Google maps.

Was in Nice few times before, and first time decided to do a walking tour to learn something about the city and its history :) The group was 6 people so was good and not crowded and the guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. Not only he explained about history in a fun way, but also gave hints about local food specialities and where to try them. Can recommend to everyone!

Excellent tour - super guide! This was an fantastic tour of old Nice and the Castle Hill. Our guide did a wonderful job of explaining the history of the area as well as providing various bits of inside information for travelers. He on top of that sent us a list of recommended restaurants and pubs after the tour. He also took photos of us at ideal locations. You can't go wrong!

Me and my friend Veni went for a short holiday break in Nice from London. As we did not know much about the town, we decided to book a walking tour on the first day, just to learn a bit about the history and the town and to be able to ask a local what things we could do around. Great walking tour of the city. The walking tour was exactly what we needed...not expensive, short and very informative. Chris not only showed us all the historical and beautiful places but he also gave us information where to go to eat or shop and at the end we even had a treat of a traditional bread, which Chris offered to us. It was so nice of him.

The tour was really fun and Interesting! Great engagemang and energy. He’s really passionate about the history of the area and was fun to listen to. The view we experineced during the tour was outstanding, that both included the beautiful beach of the city of Nice, the high mountains behind the city and even the harbour of Nice as well as an historical walk through the old city.

I highly recommend this Walking tour as it was so informative, enjoyable and fun that I wanted to stay in Nice more than I planned! Apart from the historical facts, Chris told us about living in Nice as a local, and you could really feel how much he loves his city. I think that this tour is well organized - the stories will definitely capture your attention as they are not too long and full of fun facts, we also had a break at the local cafe and could take photos on the way. This was a really fun and enjoyable walking tour of nice. Chris is fairly new to the business, but he seems like a veteran. He does a good job of leading to different spots and weaving in the histories and legends behind different places. I am a fairly fit person and I found the walk very relaxing. You will be walking so if you have trouble standing and walking for 2-3 hours, you should probably take a pass.

We met Chris for a 5pm walking tour. There were only five of us on the tour, so it was very relaxed and easy to ask questions and hear what Chris was telling us. We learned so much about this beautiful city. The walking tour is fun AND beautiful.

Actually, this walking tour was fantastic. We strolled through the ancient city and up into the hills, which provided breathtaking views. The tour was just three people long, which made it more intimate. We also took the elevator to the top of the hill, so there was very no difficult trekking involved, just going down the hill and through the city. Our guide was also highly knowledgable about Nice's local history and spoke excellent English.

If I could rate Chris & NiceFun Tours higher than a 5 I would! Chris was born & raised in Nice, so his passion and knowledge of the area is huge! We have been on quite a few tours, but this is one of the best and is a can't miss if you visit Nice. He also provided a list of his top restaurants which made our decisions much easier. Our tour guide was incredible and simply excellent! Wear sneakers since there is some stair climbing involved, but the vistas are well worth it. He gave us some caramelised onion bread, a local specialty cooked by his mother. He also shot some fantastic photographs for us. The trip was both entertaining and educational. I highly suggest it!

Great tour, extremely thorough, with tons of history behind Nice's gorgeous old town. It was a fantastic lunch break, and the food was delicious. Then up to the castle ruins - this is a tough climb by steps, so if you're elderly (like me), consider this first, but there is a lift up. The view from the hill was breathtaking! This tour is a must-do if you're in Nice, and I strongly suggest it. Very excellent value for money.

This is an absolute should to do while traveling Nice. Chris is past bendy, kind, informed, and really attractive. We had a collection of 6, three over the age of eighty. We wanted a slower, non-public tour. Chris changed into very flexible, assisted everyone in assembly their needs. Chris is without a doubt the very pleasant.The sites are very beautiful as nicely!!

Chris is a great tour guide. My family joined Friday morning tour. Unexpected blockage around the meeting point due to music concert setting up resulted in our late arrival, but he communicated beforehand and even walked up to the place where we lost. He made everything smooth. The tour was informative backed up with rich historical background, which enabled us to understand the city's culture,and geology more. We've been to some small pretty streets as well as flower market and reached to the top of castle hill. It was really pleasant morning strolling with nice people.

Booked this they AirBnB: $29 for a 2.5 hour walking tour with a Nice native. I’ve been to Nice before and learned new things!

Our tour was a little short on people (four of us) and very informal. It was nice to see the place from a locals perspective and as with most walking tours you are shown things you probably walked past already 50 times without noticing.

Highly recommend this tour with Chris, I had booked it for my mom and I and we loved it! Chris is very engaging and very knowledgeable of his hometown. This tour of Old Town Nice is a definite must!

Our tour guide was kind and knowledgeable about Nice and Castle Hill. In the 2.5 hours we were together, we got an excellent history lesson. This was a very good deal. This is a great place to start your journey in Nice.

In mid October my wife and I had signed up and paid for the walking tour of Nice. We were instructed to meet at a large fountain and look for a tour operator wearing a yellow shirt with the company logo. With these instructions we set off from our hotel. We arrived to the indicated fountain 20-minutes early. We were on a constant look-out for this "Yellow" shirt. The indicated time came and went without any sighting of the tour operator which one would think would be easy to spot in a "YELLOW" shirt. 20-minutes after the indicated time we were concerned and frustrated so we went to a nearby travel agency to use their phone to call the contact number we had. We called numerous times with no luck. We then gave up and proceeded back to our hotel. Later that day my wife was able to contact the tour operator and we were basically told he was there and he was wearing "Yellow" shirt. This was a simply inaccurate statement. Yellow is a color that stands out and we would have easily spotted it. At any rate this operator told us no refund would be given. Very unprofessional and disappointing. In conclusion I would not recommend this company for their services advertised. Their unwillingness to be understanding and at least try to work out an agreement is more of a testament of their principles and values than the actual service they provide. An otherwise dark mark on very pleasant visit to Nice.
