Great market to stroll through in the day. Many stalls sell local products such as honey, soap, and herbs as well as magnets which make for great souvenirs (and the flowers were lovely to look at). The market stalls closed up at around 1PM on Wed.

I've seen several markets in France and this one is a great one! The square is lovely and I highly recommend to eat some traditional bites from the stand in front of the café Mamma Mia. I'd go back to Nice just for that! Particularly enjoyed the bagnat and Tarte aux tomates.

The florists avenue in Nice, where lots of fresh flowers and plants are sold. Even if you are not planning to buy anything, visiting this quarter of downtown Nice is very pleasant.

Loved this local market. They sell more fruits, vegetables and other novelty items more than flowers. It’s called the flower market due to historical reasons - Nice was the first wholesale fresh flower market in Europe (I think the world?) that attracted attention from multiple cities and countries. Fresh flowers began to be shipped out by train to various cities and really put Nice on the map during the early 1900’s. But it’s an awesome place to stop by on a sunny morning for soaps, spices, meats, painting, so many things. One of my favorite spots in the city.

Great market. Allow yourself a good 90 mins to browse. Plenty of cafes and restaurants surrounding it to take a break and people watch.

One of my favorite stops. We purchased a carton of fresh strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries for the girls and fresh olives for me. We also picked up some local soap for gifts.

Had a very good experience. The market is lively, smells great and all the products are nice, fresh and clean. A large variety of fresh local vegetables, souvenirs, pastries and more. I very much recommend going.

Local specialty (spices, Provence soaps + lavender + souvenirs, fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, dried meat and sausages, cheese, dried fruits, pastries, fresh flowers and plants). May be is because we visited the market on a raining morning, got a feeling store's are not that much. But things that we bought are really fresh.

One of my favorite spots in Nice is le marché aux fleurs ❤️❤️ I love strolling down here, trying different fresh fruits, looking at the flowers, and always buying the macron de nice ☝🏼☺️ Came here before, years ago, came back this year and I still love it!

The freshness of the food is unparalleled. Local produce and delectable treats abound, showcasing the region's finest flavors. The friendly vendors not only offer high-quality products but also add a warm and inviting touch to the market atmosphere. The presence of beautiful flowers enhances the market's aesthetic appeal, creating a charming backdrop for your culinary exploration. One standout moment for me was the fresh juice station – a welcome oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. And let's talk about the strawberries – hands down, the best I've ever had. Each bite was a burst of sweetness and freshness that left a lasting impression.

A must-visit when in Nice. Go in the early morning for fresh fruit, flowers, dried flowers, and much more.

Great selection, wonderful vendors. If i weren't traveling I would have stocked up on some spices! The produce was all excellent and the prices reasonable. Will definitely go there again.

This was one of my favorite markets. It had multiple painters for Romain to find a painting for our flat, 🖼 plenty of fresh fruit, 🍓 and the best part - the socca. It's like a salty thick crepe and of course, there's a long queue for it. Luckily, it moved quickly and they were constantly making new batches of socca so you got it fresh out of the oven. There's a guy who rides his bicycle to deliver a giant fresh socca every 10-15 minutes that gets cut like a pizza. Tip: Get there early in the morning so you don't have to fight the long queue for socca.

Typically this is a food and flower market from Tuesday to Sunday. We visited on Monday when it transforms into an antiques market. Loads and loads of silverware and assorted object d'art, a few books (all in French, of course) and some clothes. What was most striking was the pricing...almost nothing was less that 30 Euro and it was not uncommon to find items at 200 Euro or more. This is not a low cost flea market but more of a premium antiques market. Bring lots of cash and prepare to negotiate.

Nice local old market with so many flowers! It is a large market and open for a long day time. The prices are fine, not cheap but okay. Goods are fresh and various. I think it is deserve to have a look as it is in the middle of Vieux Nice. it is easy to arrive any other places by walking

This market takes place daily and it goes all along the street. It’s in the old town, very close to the sea, and close to the restaurants and bars area! I recommend to taste the local specialties they sell as take-away options: socca, pissaladière, pain bagnat, quiche, tartes aux blettes… There are lots of different stands with own and local productions from either France or Italy (which is also very close to Nice). Careful with the prices! I recommend to have a general look and compare prices since typically those places located in each end of the street tend to be more expensive. They sell from fruits and vegetables, to cheese, oil, honey and homemade confiture, and even handmade soaps among others.

Visited 2/20/18. A must-do when in Nice! This daily farmers market is an excellent source of fresh flowers, fruit, vegetables, bread, and pastries at good prices. It makes for a great source of affordable food instead of eating out at restaurants all the time.

Great morning market. Full of vegetables, flowers, spices, soaps, linens and art with dozens of cafes and restaurants lining course Saleya. Worth a visit! Go early take cash as few vendors accept credit cards. Have fun.

Who doesn't like a flower market and this is up there with the best. Operating every day along with fruit and veg market, French living at it's best.

This market needs to have food, oysters and loads more going on. Great location but the stall all same the things pretty much.

A beautiful place to visit. The colours and the smells make this place wonderful. Unfortunately I only saw it during "Covid" times that didn't put it in it's true glory. I will return soon and can recommend it.

This is a functional market for locals as well as selling souvenirs etc. Very well decorated and had a good selection of food and handicrafts. Gets very hot in the middle of the day in summer but well worth a visit during your time in Nice.
