I claim to be no expert on Thai food, but probably know what a good dining place is from extensive traveling around the world. To start with, this is not a place for you to pull out your diamonds and put on your 4 inch heels to walk down soi 33, but better consider arriving in a car relaxed and casual. Don’t expect fancy ingredients, but what a good kitchen can do with the best and freshest available in Thailand. As a couple, we had 7 dishes and 3 drinks and that was a pretty good sampling of their menu. Unless you are on a crusade on what you can handle in terms of spiciness, I would recommend the less spicy dishes to appreciate the flavours they try to assemble for your taste butts. The dishes were flavourful, well balanced and the chefs seem to know how to execute each dish to perfection. I would give the food a five for the overall craftiness. For the service, well… I would give it a five for their pleasantness, efforts and efficiency considering this is always a packed restaurant. Please do make a reservation to avoid disappointment. For the ambience, I would give it a five for the casual decor that works, easy vibe despite the jazzy cover music that I am not a fan of. For the value, the bill came to 2,500 baht, which I found to be a steal considering this is a Michelin restaurant. I rarely give a five star rating, but this is one of the rare finds that is worth the rating. To avoid, skip the dessert unless you have a very sweet tooth. Otherwise go and appreciate the best of a Thai foodie experience.

Very nice place to have dinner. The hostess recommended very nice dishes to us. Must order list: The fried fish was excellent! The pork cheek is also perfect, and Tom's yum soup was authentic. The vegetable mix which has cabbage was so good too! I have others in pictures that are great options if you are nearby; highly recommended to eat there.

Delicious eastern Thai Food!! Particularly, I really recommend the Lon Poo which is a coconut based herbal dip with lump crab meat, crab roe and minced pork. The Lon Poo came with a lot of fresh vegetables that helped cleanse the pallet. I also really enjoyed the deep fried boneless sillago with garlic and turmeric with jasmine rice because it was incredibly flavorful. Lastly, I would say the staff and service was excellent. Our food came within 10 minutes of ordering!! Notes: Valet service available. Book in advance. 2-3 dishes is enough for 2 people!

Sri Trat has a variety of Eastern Thai Coastal cuisine from Trat. Many of the dishes are the founder's mother's recipes or inspired by them. I'm not a big seafood fan, so focused more chicken and vegetarian dishes. That said, the Fried Soft Shelled Crab with Garlic is an absolutely amazing dish. Have had it 3 times and it's always fresh. Other dishes to try are the Chicken Massaman Curry with Durian and Sago and Young Coconut in coconut milk and brown sugar. Tried the Tom Kha Gai for the first time on my 4th visit here and it's an extremely light and well balanced soup. Perfect for a rainy day. For desserts, the Sri Trat platter is nice if you want variety.

Hands down, the BEST authentic Thai cuisine we’ve had so far. Cuisine is eastern Thai style and the flavours are quite special. The signature sweet and sour pork belly stew is so tender and beautifully balanced. Clear chicken soup May look simple, but the taste has definitely more depth than it seems. Prawn cakes was juicy, sweet, with plenty of umami. Overall every dish was excellent and service was good and fast. Cannot recommend this place more.

LOVED IT!!! It is a little ‘East meets West feel’. Old school with a modern day touch ‘interior’. We loved the music, a little Frank Sinatra just set the mood for us. Walk on through to the large wood sliding door and you will enter into a Neat little bar, small but with nice cushy seats, relax to enjoy some drinks - or continue on through to the restaurant: Warm and pretty interior with comfortable dining settings, particularly if you get yourself seated on their ‘booth’ seats. Bookings here especially for dinner is highly recommended. Fortunately there were a couple of tables available when we randomly stepped in for lunch (1pm). It too, was busy during the next hour. Food is flavoursome here! Tastes Authentic, and deliciously presented (thankfully NO MSG). A Good variety to choose from this Thai menu including some vegetarian options also. Cocktails are delicious here too - a LARGE cocktail menu, our ‘lychee & gin’ cocktail was so thirst quenching that we ordered several!! Glad we found this little beauty - we would love to come back and try more of their menu.

Had a great night out with some friends here. Services was attentive, prompt and friendly. Food was exquisite and to top it all off, the ambience was superb. Highly recommend. We ordered wing bean salad, raw prawns, crab omelette and friend fish. Between the 3 of us, nothing was left behind. Oh not to forget their cocktail list was sexy and super delicious. My margarita was 😋 loved every bit of it. Thank you for giving us a great night.

The experience at Sri Trat was truly a culinary symphony. Each dish was just amazing, and no dish was out of harmony. You truly have to taste them yourself. My most favorite is the deep fried boneless sillago fish with garlic and turmeric. All their desserts that we ordered were beautifully done. Because they are Eastern Thai cuisine, if you are looking for strong flavor such as Southern or Northeastern Thai, you might not find the flavor intense enough. The service was good. The service team tried their best to cater to our needs even though the restaurant was bustling. The atmosphere of the restaurant was modern Thai that has its elegance but not pretentious. The parking requires valet service. The only comment is that there are only 3 restrooms. When the restaurant is busy, the line can take some time. Food: 5 | Service: 4.5 | Atmosphere: 5

An authentic premium Thai restaurant that is, IMHO, No.1 in Bangkok. Everything is just DELICIOUS. Ingredients are top notch. The cooking is next-level. The flavor is explosively rich. And if you don’t like hot and spicy food, tell the staff beforehand. The spicy dishes are SPICY. The staff is nice and well trained. The price is high but worth it. There is no parking space but valet parking is available. Totally recommended.

Although this place is quite far away from the BTS station by foot, the interior design of the restaurant certainly gives a trendy vibe for visitors after a long walk. The place is a little dark, could have provided a candle for each table for the sake of menu reading. Food wise I think it was pretty nice, but not as great as most praised about. As a Michelin restaurant, I would expect more from this place in terms of the creativity of the dishes and the variety. Be warned that most dishes are very spicy and deep fried, so if you’re not someone who Is used to such food, you might find yourself with very little choices in the menu.

First stop on my great Bangkok adventure and I came here. Fantastic Thai food. Every dish was so hearty and they had fantastic local cocktails too. One of the servers reminds me of my own aunty at home. Every time we gestured to her, she will scream out YES with a smile. We loved Siam service with a smile

The flavor profiles of each dish is unique and a party in your mouth. I appreciate the levels of the sour, salty & sweet notes I experienced. I would highly recommend giving this place a try!

Very nice restaurant with amazing waitresses! Regarding food, very good mushrooms from the vegetarian menu, rich in flavor and great texture. Quite good tiger prawns, although the breading was too thick. I cannot recommend dishes with barracuda, the fish was poorly prepared and therefore tasteless, it was cold from the fridge in the salad and it was cooked for too long in stir fried.

Most of the dishes were very nice except for the Appetizer Platter, which only comes with deep fried appetizers that were either a bit dry or not crunchy enough. The Raw Vegatable with Coconut and Crab meat dips were amazing thou, I would highly recommend it.

The decorations and the vibes are really good. I was greeted warmly and welcomed service from all waitress. There is a beautiful bar in front before going through the dining area. I recommend to book before, always fully book at dinner time. I don’t much enjoy with the food here, mostly sweet, but it’s an original tasted from this region which I don’t familiar much. However, the presentation looks great and the environment here is really good.

A great Thai restaurant serving Eastern Thai cuisine. I took my friends there and everyone was impressed with the food, service and atmosphere. Even grilled mushroom is delicious! Although the price is quite high but I can tell you that it's so worth it. Some menu can't be easily found in ordinary Thai restaurants. Well-done!

Overall good meal, we loved the tom yum soup, it was just the right amount of creaminess and it’s not on the super spicy side. Green curry was fine too but the amount of chicken inside was really little. Sweet and sour pork stew and squid glass noodles was a bit of a miss for us. The flavours were quite unique and it is something we were not used too. However, the menu is quite extensive and we would visit again to try the other dishes. The service and ambience in the restaurant was great.

Revisited this restaurant after many years. Food still taste great. We had a birthday party with about 7 guests. Wee booked a private room and it was just a perfect space. We ordered most of the recommended dishes such as Crab in Yellow Chili, Chicken Wings, Musamun, Pad Thai, Sweet and sour eggs, and all the deserts on the menu. The deserts were also very delicious. The service was ok not if they could have been a bit more attentive. The price was very reasonable. We all very happy with our choice.

This is our third visit. Our previous visits was a bit disappointing and I thought I would not go again. We have a visiting friends and wanted to explore other Thai cuisine and Sri Trang was just across the street. I didn’t pay much attention and simply ask the waitress to recommend us all the dishes. To my surprise, all was excellent. The grilled pork neck was perfectly cooked. All pieces was tender, juicy and just right amount of seasoning. Chicken durian massaman was very good. It’s a sweet type of curry as some may expect it to be spicy. My favorite was the grass noodle shrimp paste and grilled squid. The cooking on the squid was simply perfect! Just the right amount of shrimp paste as not to offend novice diners. The staffs were very friendly and served free flow of rice. Overall we were very happy and would not hesitate to go back again.

An elegant bar and eatery featuring an abundant selection of Eastern Thai dishes, mainly originating from the Trat area. The staff offers exceptionally warm and welcoming service. Even though I am well-acquainted with Thai cuisine, the innovative flavors and freshness of each dish took me by surprise. This establishment comes highly recommended—just make sure to secure a reservation in advance if you're planning to dine in the evening.

Authentic Eastern Thai food. Trat is the name of province in the far east of Thailand. It has some special foods that is different from other areas. Must try everything that uses durian, both food and dessert. Recommended for deep fried fish with cumin and garlic along with Chamuang curry.

Sri Trat is a Michelin bib gourmand restaurant located in Sukhumvit. Reservations are highly recommended - plan your transport early, traffic can be really bad in this area. Ordered soft shell crab noodles (must-order), minced pork and king mackerel fried patties (super spicy!), aromatic clear chicken soup (sour and spicy!), and deep fried fish cakes (this one was the highlight). The food came out really quickly - about 5 to 10 minutes after we ordered. Spent about 1 hr at the restaurant. For dessert, I went with the coconut sago and mango sticky rice. Coconut sago was a bit too sweet for me but the coconut flesh was good - I couldn’t finish it. Many foreigners frequent this restaurant and the decor is traditional and old-school with portraits lining the walls.

I was so shocked about the quality, variety of tastes, how fast this service is and the PRICE! It's sooo worth it! The portions are big; the quality is excellent, and it's a cozy place And, so far, one of the rare restaurants that serve coconuts! Absolutely incredible. The best Thai food I've tried in the past month Definitely a place to go!

Expect homely, well-balanced dishes here. All the dishes I ordered did not have super spicy/sour/sweet strong flavours one would often expect of Thai dishes. Instead, they serve well-cooked meals, somewhat closer to what the mother would serve I think. In particular, I liked their stir fried lotus stem with prawns. Delicious with rice. I enjoyed their pretty and delicious cocktails too.

This is absolutely the place to go for authentic Thai cuisine w amazing service! We were greeted warmly and cheerfully by a waitress who remembered us coming in the afternoon to make the booking for dinner! She was so cheerful and wise all the way and made light and crafty jokes too! She told us that the amount of food we ordered should be just right and recommended us desserts that really fits our taste! The ambiance is really lively and there’s lots of decor to keep your eyes busy. We enjoyed every dish we ordered and especially the cheerful waitress’s quick service. Her liveliness and the quality of the food makes us want to be back again!

My wife and I enjoyed food in this restaurant and loved the restaurant atmosphere. Probably the second best Thai restaurant in my life. I forgot the name of dish but we liked mint salad with sweet nuts. Tom yum was also very good. It was full of ingredients and mouthful flavours. We did not like a dish of cold meat with lots of onions. It wasn't bad taste but I think this could not be everyone's taste like coriander. Just one negative was customer service wasn't the best. A waitress looking in her 50's kept interrupting our time to choose dishes but she seemed looking unhappy or bothered with us as we did not go with any recommendation from her.

Went there but the reservation was full until 9 PM so we made the reservation for the next day. (Make sure you call before hand and make a reservation) I loved the food & the atmosphere. The dishes we ordered were spicy but I didn’t mind it that much. If you like the spiciness, highly recommend the fried rice with chopped pepper and boiled eggs on the side.

Background This place is the same owner of burapa at Nana, which I loved, and so I needed to try it out Ambience The restaurant feels very rustic, with wooden floors and creaking staircases. We sat in a room ok the first floor. Service The service is impeccable. They ushered us from the front desk to our table. The host was attentive and ensured my glass was always filled with water. Food I enjoyed the food. I am even happier that they have a vegetarian section. We tried a few of their signature dishes, which could be found on the menu. The portions were not very big, and the food came pretty quickly. My favourite dish of the night is the fried fish and the crunchy lotus stem Value for money The food and service were fantastic and worth the experience

I think this is one of the best Thai food restaurants in Sukhumvit area. When a dish of cabbage cooked with simple sauce came, I was hopeless… but the taste was very good. Other dishes were also delicious. Service was good and staffs were very responsive. Parking is valet. You park right next to the restaurant and a staff will take your car to somewhere nearby. I will repeat when my friend comes from abroad.

Amazing place! Visited here on a recent trip to Bangkok and the food, service and drinks were excellent! We ordered the Sweet & Sour Pork Belly, Crab Rice and the Coconut Chicken soup and all three were excellent. The cocktail menu was extensive and the Mulberry Gin cocktail was delicious!

As someone who grew up in Bangkok it’s hard to be impressed by Thai food, but Sri Trat managed to do just that. Even a dish as classic as Thai green curry is exceptionally delicious at Sri Trat - this is a Thai food must-visit for sure. Our waitress was incredibly knowledgable and advised us perfectly in terms of food and wine pairing.
