Decent museum with lots of interesting exhibits. However, -2 stars for the fact that it’s tailored for extremely young children. The video tour is very clearly designed for kids under the age of 8, if not younger, which detracts from the whole experience. Perfect for families with really tiny children, but partially disappointing for those even a tad older.

If you like space it's good. Lots of things to look at. I'd say age range is 6+ not a lot for little ones really. The cueues on a wet day for the interactive stuff can be really frustrating. If it was 10 euros to get in I'd say well worth it and 5 stars but for 16 it's only ok.

I enjoyed my time here but i do think this is more for kids. Some of the stuff they have is cool to see and they offer loads of information though. Parking here is a drama, the parking spots are too close together, its very easy for someone to drive against your car.

Great space museum with very interesting pieces to see and admire. If you have children ask for the treasure hunt. If you have everything correct they will get an astronaut diploma. The beginning is nice and interactive where you build a satellite on the screen and continue down to the clean room to test your satellite with your personal code. The test facility of the space station that is there is nice where you can press a lot of buttons. Have an idea of how big or small a space station is. The rocket Simulator is also fun. My biggest complaints would be its not big enough. Maybe some more focus on the planets might be nice. But nevertheless my kids enjoyed it.

Very fun for space exploration. I get to see how satellites work and try to build my own robot and test it out. A pretty small museum but very educational. Great for family time

Really great exhibit of space and human exploration of it. Lots of exhibits are hands-on and interactive, so the little ones can go wild. As an adult, I also find some stands very informative, like the 3D map of Netherlands with effects of population, land reclamation, and climate change has now and in the future.

Great place for old and young people. Little too small for my feeling and not comparable with US exhibitions but definitely a visit worth. Family with 2 kids (6 and 3 ) spend approximately 2 hours there.

You'll love it, if you love Science. This is one of the most interesting and impressive Museums I've ever visited. Interactive Projects, a very good Guide and everything is in 3 Languages. (Dutch,English,German). I can only recommend it when you're interested in Space and Science. Have some fun. :)

Has some great original pieces (like the original Soyuz capsule that returned Dutch Astronaut Andre Kuipers) and is good for kids. However that being said, it is starting to look quite tired, clearly was launched 10+ years ago now and effort hasn't been put in to updating and maintaining the exhibits. Would be much improved by a refresh

I recently visited the space exhibition and overall, it was a great experience. The exhibition showcased a wide range of fascinating information about space exploration and had some truly impressive interactive exhibits. The interactive pieces were engaging and provided a fun and educational experience for visitors of all ages. However, I must mention that I found the pricing to be on the higher side. While the exhibition offered valuable insights and interactive displays, the cost could be a deterrent for some visitors. It would be great if they could consider more affordable options or special discounts to make it accessible to a wider audience. Despite the pricing concern, the exhibition was well-curated and offered an in-depth look into the wonders of space. The attention to detail and the presentation of the exhibits were commendable. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, making the visit even more enjoyable.

I truly truly love it, even tho is a little bit small, it is very very Educational and has so many interesting devices. They have free parking space, nice restaurant inside, and a pretty giftshop. Seems that there is a nearby bus stop, highly recommend

Great place for inspirations, especially for younger audiences. It made me feel younger, more motivated, and humbled looking at the advancement of the space industry. Such a fantastic journey for mankind. Especially when looking at André Kuipers ‘ space suit which he used when he traveled on the Soyuz, it gives you a sight of real dream-comes-true. The exhibitions are exquisite and most of the time are according to the real size of the objects. The stories are well crafted and easy to understand, the information booth and reception were very friendly and helpful to us. Thank you!

It's interesting but I think it's a bit small compared to other space meusiums. ISS modules, Soyuz crew module, some rocket engines, low gravity gadget and a few more things are there to explore.

Very fun experience and definitely a place to check out! We went during the 2023 Open Days and enjoyed ourselves for hours. Great to see the amount of passion put into these projects.

It was a wonderful day out for both parents and kids. Very interesting and doable quest (e.g. compare two space stations zvezda vs Columbus) , interesting lecture on how to cook Comet. Free parking. Highly recommend for children 5+.

A nice museum with some cool pieces and displays. Unfortunately, most of the activities were closed due to Corona, and there wasn't much new info for those who are into space. The ISS and Rocket displays were cool, but definitely setup more for children.

Nice museum with lots of activities for children.

Great museum with plenty of things to do for young and old. We, as family absolutely enjoyed the whole experience and learned a lot about satellites and rockets. Everything is explained properly so young and old can understand what's on display. Also you will find small projects to do for kids throughout the museum. A big eye catcher is a replica of the international space station. The moon landing display is way to big, has not really a function in this museum and takes up a lot of space for nothing.

Was an amazing space experience! Went with my three boys to explore the history and present of space travels. They had really amazing details on desplay. The experience felt a bit rushed though with the Covid rules of time limits per place which took away from actually looking at what is on display.

I recently had the incredible opportunity to visit the Space Expo, and it was an out-of-this-world experience! From the moment you step through the doors, you're transported into the fascinating realm of space exploration. The museum's exhibits are a celestial journey in themselves. They beautifully blend cutting-edge technology with historical artifacts, making it a true educational gem. I was captivated by the life-sized replicas of spacecraft, including the iconic Ariana, which allowed me to imagine what it must have been like for astronauts on their daring missions. The attention to detail in the exhibits is astounding. You'll find everything from interactive displays explaining the details to mesmerizing simulations of hydrolysis. For families, this museum is a dream come true. The expo is perfect even for children and offers hands-on activities and a space-themed play area. It's a celestial delight for anyone with an interest in ESA missions. Whether you're a budding astronaut, a science enthusiast, or just looking for a mind-blowing experience, this museum will leave you starry-eyed and inspired to reach for the stars. Don't miss it!

Though the museum is oriented on children, it has great deal of space ships, satellites and real items from space era that are of interest for everyone. The parking is free, but it may be full. I liked the rocket model that operates on hydrogen and oxygen mixture obtained from water.

Must visit along with kids. It satisfies the curiosity about rockets, satellites and life of astronauts in space. It will definitely give a good experience about the space domain.

Amazing. Anyone slightly interested in space technology, space travel, satellite observation should visit. Definitely not only for kids. We were a bit hesitant because of the price but it was worth it. The satellite data visualization were impressive.

This is a very nice place for kids and adults as well. The activities, models and space (literally and figuratively speaking). There is a bus stop right in front of Space Expo, so it is very easy to reach the place via public transportation.

Very informative tour, but really tailored for kids rather than adults. I enjoyed it though.

Everyone should know how much great things European Space Agency makes for the exploration of the Space. Great place to visit.

Nice space exploration museum, for kids and adults all together. The museum targets kids older than 6 in my opinion, although there are very few exhibits for younger children. They give you a booklet with questions and answers that turns the museum to a quest, and guides you through the museum. The cool stuff that the kids really loved are the 1:1 models and the real space vehicles, the capsule, rockets, satellites, space suites, iss, the lunar module and more. Total you need in here is about 2 hours.

If you spend traveling up to 45 minutes ,it will not be recommended. + nice place - lack interactive facilities- indoor restaurant need to be opened.- some equipments need to be repaired

Really worth the visit. At first kids didn't know of they like it or not, but after a while they started enjoying it a lot. In fact they stayed there untill closing and were really disappointed that the Expo is being closed on 5. Lots of interactive stuff, there is a Soyuz capsule simulator, replica of two ISS modules, touch panela that allow kids to assemble space mission equipment... You can't get bored there and even trash cans are on the shape of a 🚀.

Fantastic place for kids aged 2-10. Exhibits are really cool, many are interactive. There’s an outdoor playground on-site, as well as a cafe. -1 star for the store, which only had very small and very large versions of the hats and shirts. It did have lots of cool toys for kids of different ages, though.

Super interesting museum about space technology. Interactive what gives even more opportunity to play with tech and have fun. Average time spent- they say 1.5 but prepare yourself for 2!

It was amaizing. We loved the replica of international space station to see how landing capsula looks like and to try simulator. Best for kids age 7 and up and for grownups

Very well designed area. What they did display was very tasteful and well explained in English and Dutch. Videos also had German subtitles. I did wish that they had more for display as it seems they don't have access to many things. The parking lot on-site is like a game of tetris on hard mode when it's full 😬

  • 4/5 Darren C. 2 years ago on Google
Very interesting space education experience. Also some fun & unique activities / tasks. Does feel a bit that it's designed to rush you through, but you can take your time.

  • 5/5 Stanislava Z. 2 years ago on Google
They have more amazing artefacts and exhibition pieces than room for them! But it makes the 15 Euro even more worth it. They have a lot of models, partial models, arcual machinery, some probes (metal meteorite chunk, moon rock, etc), some interactive pieces. The staff is friendly. The food court is small, without much selection, but everything tasted amazing. The gift shop is fairly sparce, so this can certainly be improved. Overall very recommendable!

The entrance gives more attractions but not everything. This may be an attraction to kids below 8years. Lot of information to read but this is available in the books too.
