They’re charging us for paper bags!!!!! They aren’t saving the planet. This isn’t saving on costs for Giant Eagle either! This is a normal business expense that Giant Eagle can write off along with labor at the end of the year. Bags don’t cost them anything really. Boycott Giant Eagle, they advertise too many gimmicks to lure you into the store where prices are already higher than normal before the pandemic started. Boycott and prices will come down. People need to ban together if they want prices to go down. Don’t believe that using paper bags will save the Earth. Besides, why would you want someone to bring their dirty bags from home in here to reuse? That’s not sanitary with cat pee and all on them..yuck. Go back to plastic bags- stop trying to fool people

On September 14th I went with my sister, my two children and her children to your dumb store on the corner of Lorain and Dover. We purchased a large amount of food because it was our parent's anniversary (the 15th of September). So the cashier named "Kim" says to me "you sure have a lot of kids". I said to her, what business is it of yours? Later, she is fumbling around with her cash register because clearly everyone here is poorly trained to know how to do anything, and she gets angry with me because I said I wanted a copy of my receipt. She said "I'm sorry you don't know how to use birth control." I find this comment to be deeply racist and offensive. I have tried contacting corporate directly but they have completely ignored me. I will continue trying.

Good store for basic groceries overall. However, I will not buy meat or seafood here. We purchased 3 lbs of Cod to make fish tacos a month or so ago, a day later when we were preparing dinner, opened the fish and it was bad, stunk up the entire house. The fact that they sold spoiled fish is alarming. Went to the store immediately only to find a “back in 20 minutes” sign at the service counter. Threw their rotten fish in the garbage and went to Heinens. It’s a bit more expensive but the quality is much better. Same goes for the meat. Also, majority of the staff act like they hate their job. It’s just not a warm atmosphere. Sorry.

I was there yesterday and I received amazing customer service from an employee named Suzann. She was especially kind and helpful. She bagged up all my stuff for me at the self checkout and helped fit everything back into my cart for me. She was just really sweet and made me feel taken care of. I wish there were more people in the world like her.

Typical giant eagle national chain prices aren't the worst but best of all when I can't find what I need at the other grocery stores I can almost guarantee you that I'll find what I need here for some reason they have some type of buddu to get what I need every time I'm pleased with that

Huge Giant Eagle. Starbucks located indoors here. Selections couldn't be broader. Clean, many checkout lanes and self checkout lanes. Makes for a quick trip when needed. Friendly folks, top shelf.

Giant Eagle is a wonderful place to shop, inspite of the higher prices ( which appear to be everywhere. The staff is very helpful and friendly - making the experience always pleasant. The pharmacy is by far the very best around, always meeting our needs with knowledge, information and friendliness.

Older building, but still a staple store. Clean, well stocked, OH Beverage inside, with friendly staff. Parking is ample even at peak. FlashFoods, pharmacy & pre-order options available.

Oh you little overpriced brat. Sure, is it clean and nice looking? But I've never left the store pleased with the prices. Just go to Aldi's and Marcs and even Costco. You'll get what you need. Save "Large Bird" (that's what I call it) for when you need to impress your guests. Might as well go for Heinen's instead, to be honest. You'll pay the same for better stuff.

The shop is spotless, fully stocked, and well-managed. I appreciate the roomy layout and numerous independent displays showcasing new things. Drive through pharmacy, digital coupons on app Olives self-serve are preserved immaculately. Many fresh pastries and breads are available at the bakery.

In a pinch, it's fine enough. But the produce is usually not great and the costs are typically significantly higher than other nearby places like Aldi. If you don't need something specific, I'd recommend going somewhere else.

Woman at meat counter does not listen. 2 times I asked her for a certain item and how many. She asked again how many. She then proceeds to pack up the wrong meat. The chicken in the display case has turned a weird color. Busy Sunday shoppers and self check outs closed/broke. Probably understaffed like everyone else.

The Water Tower Giant Eagle is awesome! The store is clean, organized, stocked, and conveniently located. The bakery is phenomenal, ordered a large cake and it was amazing! Also, ordered cinnamon rolls and they were delicious!

Overpriced, not that great of meat, vegetables and fruits are at best okay. WE NEED A KROGERS! I’m sure saying that here will make a difference lol. But seriously giant eagle is the worst.

I can’t say enough good things. Likes moved fast on busiest week of the year. The customers are a bit Karen-ish, but hey you know how it is. Emma at Starbucks was so helpful, Good worker.

Usually pretty good sushi but lately seems to be more rice packed around smaller fillings at a higher price… with tiny portion of ginger.

The store is huge in North Olmsted! They have everything you can imagine some fresh-baked me, Deli, pre-made meals, floral department you name it. I come here and end up spending more than anticipated because they have so many wonderful things to try. Nice clean store and good service.

This Giant Eagle is becoming my go to when I have completed by low cost item shopping from the “big retail” store. Most people know! They usually have everything that I need and more! Love Love 💕 the Perks!!

Nice giant eagle. It is what it is! I shop other places but always go to this location for fresh bread. Love the Tuscany and the bakery Italian. Other than that, I try to take advantage of the sales weekly.

Well designed store that is usually staffed pretty well with people who at least seem to care about what they are doing. The meat department has a pretty large offering of fresh meats and the produce department is pretty extensive as well. This is pretty much my favorite Giant Eagle store on the far west side.

This is a fabulous store. It's so big and has so much to choose from. They even have a dry cleaner's inside , you can shop and have your dry cleaning done all at the same time so convenient. Look for the Giant Eagle by the Water Tower we love it here.😘😍🦃

This Giant Eagle is a bit bigger, and had online orders, but I have not used that option. This store has a lot of good varieties of all products that I need 😍 11-6-22 I went to Giant Eagle early this morning, and was in a frenzy. Thankfully all I had to pick up was 28 cans 🥫 of cat 🙀 food 🍲, 2 half gallons of milk 🥛 and Schneider's cheese 🧀 curls. I only had half an hour to do it, because I had to go to church ⛪. I was in and out quickly because it was so early. Thankfully to the quick and friendly cashier. Great job today guys.

Was able to get everything I needed. The sushi counter in the store is phenomenal! Sushi is always fresh and good! People are very friendly and will make something for you if its not in the counter. This sushi is as good or better than what you can get in some sushi restaurants,, and at a reasonable price point.. The Bakery dept . is also great! All the bakery is fresh and extremely good and I recently ordered a cassata cake there for a birthday and everyone raved about it.

Their curbside pickup works well. It can be a bit of a traffic jam. Surprised there was only one person bringing the orders out and loading. But, staffing is rough everywhere. The employee was pleasant and attentive.

This is the best Giant Eagle around! Everything is clean and well laid out, employees are very helpful. However being handicapped, it is a bit large for me to go through. But I will take advantage of ordering online and doing the curbside pickup!

  • 3/5 Barbara B. 2 years ago on Google
Too many personal shoppers in the way with their big carts and cutting in front of us who come into the store to shop. Curb side pick up is great, but don't forget about the customer service for those of us who actually come into the store.

The prices are constantly increasing, you might as well shop at Heinen’s. Expect to bag your own groceries here. This location is also consistently under-stocked and sold out of items.

This Giant Eagle has THE BEST sushi. They have sushi chefs who work in the store and they make it fresh daily. I go every couple weeks for the sushi and enjoy it every time.

I just discovered the flashfood app and the Water Tower Giant Eagle is one of the stores participating in the plan. It's great to see a local business helping out customers with incredibly lowered prices! The lady who helped me find my purchases was very helpful, efficient and friendly. I'm attaching a picture of everything that I bought for less than half price.
