Very friendly front desk staff and friendly doctors! Have never had to wait more than 30-40 mins in total to be out of the clinic and have gotten prescriptions filled within 15 mins. Definitely one of the best walk in clinics in the north york area

I always receive great care at this walk in. Could not ask for nicer receptionists. Keep up the great work.

Every time I come to this clinic, the service is awful. These doctors do not take the time to ask you what is wrong. They jump to conclusions and do not explain anything. I went in with stomach pains and before the doctor came into the room, he asked if I was pregnant. Then went into how they were not stomach pains that I was experiencing but rather workout pains. He then told me to only do two sit ups and then go up to 4 sit ups the next day. He was teaching me how to workout and lecturing me about how I was probably trying to show off with my friends at the gym although I went by myself. Then I came in later on that day because I knew I had an infection since I started feeling really sick and I've had the same kind of infection in the past. I went in at 7:45pm when the clinic closes at 8pm. The receptionist refused to let us see the doctor and lecturing me about how I should have come in earlier as if I could predict when I was going to feel sick. After 5 minutes, the doctor came out and told me to leave because he wasn't seeing anyone else and that if I was in pain, I would have to go to the emergency room even after I told him that I walked all the way to the clinic and did not have access to a car that evening. After 20 minutes of waiting, the doctor reluctantly told me to go to the room and wait. He came in and had absolutely no patience and was not happy that I kept him 10 minutes past 8pm when they were supposed to close. After that, he was very rude and told me exactly how I got this infection. Then after giving me my prescription, he then proceeded to tell me again that I should have come earlier. The receptionist chipped in and said the same thing over again about how I kept them so late and that that was the last time they would do that for me and that the next time I would have to go to the emergency room. That was the worst experience I've ever had. I do not ever want to go back to that clinic. Most of the people who work there are not friendly and are not there to help people- especially the doctors and that is a sad reality.

Never had a problem here. The doctors have been nice to me. However, if you come try to book beforehand because they book very fast. Sometimes you may have to wait longer than expected.

Horrible experience. Went to get a TB test for work and was price gouged. Was initially told the test would be $40 for test#1 and #2 (including the readings). Only to come back for my test #1 reading and the new receptionist tells me it’s $20 per visit, including both readings, so $80 total. Then I get into the room for my reading and Dr. Shwe barely looks at my file, and moves me into another room to get the injection, which I had already gotten. Had I not interrupted the Dr. who was adamant on giving me the injection, I would’ve be injected twice. Horrible service, greedy clinic and inexperienced, stubborn doctor with no consideration or care for patients well being. Wish I could give 0 stars.

Doesn’t pick up their phones expect to wait at least 2 hours even if they just opened. Most times there’s no available doctor so either they close early or not even open so always call to double check but goodluck if they answer cause even if they’re open they don’t pick up

Do not go here. the doctor and the receptionist were both rude and super inconsiderate. They made me wait two more hours told me to go back home and said i have to call and book an appointment when there was no indication of this on their website. Doctor was dismissive and was not listening to me, super rushed, and rude. I told him what was wrong and he was telling me I was wrong about my own experience. I have seasonal allergies and he was not listening to me and kept saying i had sore throat when i did not i actually had itchy eyes nose and throat. The receptionist was treating me like i was a walking disease by acting super apprehensive. She asked me "why are you here?" in such a disrespectful tone when I first entered. Super unprofessional, the doctor didn't even provide any privacy. Will not be coming back here ever again.

NOT exactly a walk-in clinic. You simply cannot walk-in as they may not have the “walk-in doctor” in. Their business hours per Google are not the same as the supposed walk-in clinic.

The worst experience I had at a walk in clinic. Made an appt only to wait 40 mins for the doctor. Once the doctor was ready he couldn’t even apologize for the delay and making me wait 40 mins. Dr Shwe is probably the worst doctor I ever encountered. Super disrespectful, inconsiderate and could care less about his patients. I do not recommend this clinic.

This is the least reliable place to visit. I called the clinic and they gave me a time to go for visit and when I arrived I saw that they shut the clinic and they just left a note that they are not available. Never trust them because they are liars and never trust the hours shown in the google because they don’t know them. I wish I could give them zero as this is the worst experience I’ve ever had.

I already wasted my time here, don't waste your time! I went to this clinic because it is a WALK-IN clinic. When I got there, there was a sign "call phone number, do not knock on window". I called the number... no answer, WHEN I CAN LITERALLY SEE TWO PEOPLE AT THE RECEPTION DESK AND THE PHONE RINGING. I called again, still they didn't pick up. I followed the sign and didn't knock on the window. I was standing there, and the two people behind the desk CLEARLY saw me (I couldn't open the door because it was locked). I stood outside for 15 minutes until someone from inside came out and that allowed me to hold the door open and yell in "HELLO?!" FINALLY, the one lady got up and came to the door and told me it was appointments only. NO WHERE ON THE DOOR STATES IT'S APPOINTMENTS ONLY. She couldn't have come and told me that 15 minutes earlier when she saw me standing there?! I was VERY disappointed!

I went there today to take off my stitches after I called them over the phone. Receptionist whom I spoke with was very professional. Then there was Dr. Katie, who was very sweet and soothing. She took all my stitches off while comforting me constantly. Thank you so much for the service.

Dr Shwe was unprofessional and lacked basic knowledge. I came to him for an ear infection and he prescribed antibiotics. I asked if it would be OK to take these meds while breast-feeding and he asked how old baby was I said 10 months. He responded with do you plan to breast-feed him until he’s in grade 12???? I informed him the World Health Organization recommends breast-feeding until age 2 and he said nope nursing baby after 6 months is strictly for comfort no other benefits. So apparently he knows better than the world’s top health experts. I did not ask for his opinion on this matter in the first place and for him to give me such obviously incorrect and outdated information is very problematic coming from a healthcare professional. Will never return. Avoid this clinic.

Dr Shwe is the worst Dr I have ever encountered in my life! I needed antibiotics for my pneumonia. It was a phone appointment. He kept repeating like mantra 'You have to do covid test. You have to do covid test. I follow protocol..' I was sick covid more than month ago and recovered. My current condition has nothing to do with covid. He did not even ask my symptoms at all. Had to call MedVisit, Dr. came home and helped me without covid test!!! I guess, their protocol is more human than dr Shwe's

I have been going to this clinic for many years. Never had an issue until now. I never seen this doctor before but i saw this doctor for the first time on friday. She was rushing, in a hurry, didnt want to take an extra minute to properly look at my issue. Took her 1 minute to send me on my way with gargle solution. Well 2 days later in a lot worse, i explained to her i think its somethong more serious that simple cold. She assured me (because she didnt want to make an extra effort) that i just need to rinse my throat. Today i woke up cant even speak. Cant eat. I feel like a cat is scratching the inside of my throat. My ears hurt. I feel very bad nonetheless. The doctor im talking about is the WORST doctor i ever had. She was femsle middle aged and jewish (not complaining about the jewish) im jewish as well but im only trying to describe her so you can avoid thia horrible doctor. Stay away. She doesnt know anything. Doesnt want to do her job just wants to rush and finish her day without priperly diagnosis. I highly reccomend to NOT go here as the clunic totslly changed from before. Zero stars!

Very awful service! Here 3d time and each time I'm waiting for 1 hour a doctor. For what reason you have an appointment? And very rude service, i never get so bad experience.

Perfect walk-in clinic. The front desk staff were very helpful and helped clean a wound I had. The doctor was very knowledgeable and skilled. There was not a big waiting time. They patched me up in very little time and with great care. The clinic is inside the superstore close to the pharmacy.

I don’t understand how all the doctors just turn up whenever they want. I’ve been calling for weeks but I always go to voicemail.

Very rude and unprofessional how they talk to you when on the phone and/or in person! Your not allowed to request days off on a doctors note of your choice when sick at home from work, the doctor gives u only a day or 2 and that’s what you get. Never coming back to this clinic again because they treat you like garbage and hang up on you while speaking on the phone. One of the worst clinics I’ve ever been to.

In my personal experience, I’m not a fan of the condescending tone of Dr Merenda. It just sounds like she wants nothing to do with her patients, or she’ll say a rude remark and then follow up with something nice like “how are you doing?” I understand that there’s a ton of work load and it can be stressful, but it just sounds like she wants nothing to do with her patients. This is just an observation.

Terrible waiting time and disappointing service. Waited for over an hour for the doctor despite being told to only need to wait about "15 to 30 minutes". The doctor didn't know what was he doing and totally ignored my needs and gave me some prescription I don't ever would need. It was just one of the worst clinics I've ever been to.

Booked an appointment for 12:45 because its only by appointment apparently, currently still waiting to see a doctor and its 1:20 pm what is the point of an appointment its been almost an hour the reviews are right.

Was diagnosed with Diverticulosis at my young age. I had to see a specialist to do a colonscopy and they sent the results to this location. I tried asking the Doctor questions (over the phone) because im extremly worried and scared about this... I said "I have some questions" and he couldn't have let out a bigger sigh if he tried too. He then proceeded to change the subject on my first question by not answering it, then hanging up on me.

Booked an appointment online for today and nobody called me. Unprofessional place & clearly your online system does not work.

The receptionist didn’t help at all and didn’t explain anything in regards to walk- ins or insurance. I have insurance that covers walkins but she didn’t accept it saying we dont work with this insurance company. I figured out later that they do work with the insurance company but they just dont have direct billing. Could have told me that and then I could have paid upfront and then filed a claim for the insurance company by myself.

WORST EXPERIENCE at a walk in clinic. TERRIBLE front staff. After 10 tries calling the clinic, I was finally able to get a hold and ask if they were still taking walk ins as I was a few minutes away. They told me to go & that I would be seen. I got there and the receptionist LIED to my face saying that she told me to be there in 5 minutes and that registration had closed. It was for my sick infant, which I carried through the rain to get to the clinic, and yet got no empathy. In addition, this was 1 hour before closing time and there was NOBODY in the waiting room.
