Arrived here with the family and we enjoyed a variety of options from their menu. The food was full of flavour, I especially enjoyed the stuffed falafel! The gentleman behind the counter have us all a falafel each to try before ordering, which was really nice and generous, highly recommend.

It's probably the most fresh falafel that I have ever had in Melbourne. Everything is hand-made including the pita. I tried the FSP, and it was so delicious. The hummus and pickled veggies with the fries and falafel were absolutely delicious. They also treated us with some falafel when we were waiting for our food.

I’ve been an avid falafel enjoyer for many years and this is the best I’ve ever had. It has literally brought tears to my eyes. A rare glimmer of true beauty along this otherwise bleak stretch of St George’s Road. The park across the street is a nice place to enjoy it if like me you don’t drive and are making the trek on foot.

What a beautiful food experience. We came here today, hearing that the falafel is out of this world and can say that it lives up to the hype. I had the special pita pocket with red chilli sauce and it blew me away. The pickles are divine, the falafels are so soft and light, the salad is incredible. I loved that mint was in there as well. The men running it were lovely and gave us a falafel each while we waited. Will be coming back as soon as I can!!

This was my first time here, and I placed an order for a Special Falafel Pita Pocket. While it was being cooked and prepared, I had a chance to chat with Ahmed and Bara. They are very friendly people and had a great story to share about their journey from Queensland to Melbourne and beginning their food venture with this truck. While we were chatting, Bara offered a sample falafel to try that was generously dipped in hummus. It was exactly what I needed on a cold Saturday morning. The first bite of that sample teleported me back to my childhood in Egypt, and I couldn't wait for what would indeed be a special Special Falafel Pita Pocket. The wait was over. The pocket was spot on. Pickled radish, pickled carrot, piping hot falafels, hummus, tahini, soft pita, all of it made the dish as traditional as it could get thousands of miles away from its origins. Ahmed and Bara have a great vision for Wazzup Falafels. I am sure a brighter future awaits them, and in turn, us to enjoy their middle eastern treats. Long story short, I will be revisiting.

Truly flavourful felafels and accompanying ingredients, particularly the hummus, pickles, eggplant, and cauliflower. The special pita pocket with the bread baked themselves really stands out. Vegetarian and Vegan across the board, and for those that are gluten-free there are several options without the breads! To top that all off the guys here are very friendly and generous with the occasional free felafel while you wait

Actually the best felafel I have ever tasted. They’re the perfect size to maximise crunch with beautifully fluffy insides. I had a pita pocket and it was a very generous serve and absolutely delicious. The worst part is that it took me so long to try them after driving past so many times!

The best falafel in Melbourne hands down, even better than my mums!!! Fluffy, crunchy, delightful, scrumptious goodness! The customer service was supreme, Ahmed gave us 5 star treatment and so many free falafels to snack on whilst we waited. The falafel wraps are juicy and the fatteh was delicious!

Best and most authentic falafel in Melbourne by far. Would recommend the house-made pita bread and the green chilli sauce for your falafel. Super friendly staff too who offer you free samples of the freshly made falafel, Arab hospitality at its finest! I've been twice and will definitely return again :))

If authentic taste is what you’re after then you can’t go past this place. They have the most AMAZING Falafel you can get. The team is so cheerful and generous, you get a free sample as you arrive which is an added bonus. There’s a little bit of a wait however, that’s not an issue as the falafel is freshly cooked as you order and the wait is well worth it. An absolute must try if you’re in town.

I am so thankful I was given the hot tip to visit Wazzup Falafel because it is hands down the best falafel I have eaten!!! I got the Falafel Pita Pocket with Green Chilli and it was life changing!! Everything is made fresh, the staff are lovely and the falafels themselves are incredibly light while being perfectly flavourful.

These are the best god damn falafels I have EVER tasted! Insanely delicious- moist, fluffy with the thinnest crispy layer 😍🙀🤯🤯😍 Fatteh was creamy goodness. I have food sensitivities and I’m quite certain I can feel when food is prepared with love. That’s the secret ingredient. It left my tummy and body very happy.❤️❤️ Adding a pic of the leftover reheated-although pic doesn’t do justice.

The best falafel spot ever, when I tell you they are fresh, hot and delicate dishes. We were welcomed with 3 piping hot falafels FREE. The taste was out of this world, I felt like I was transported all the way back to Palestine. The texture was incredible and the fluffiness was out of this world.

Hey if you’re driving past this awesome Falafel cart at home in a vintage petrol station…go! Some of the best falafel I’ve had in Melbourne. The guys running it are super cool, awesome people. Get your falafel on at Wazzup Falafel.

Very cute little food truck specialising in falafel in various forms. Everything is vegan although it’s not advertised very obviously. I tried the falafel bagel and pita, both of which were delicious and hearty for the price. Staff were so nice and even let us try a falafel before we ordered. Can’t wait to go back.

Seriously the best falafel and pocket in Melbourne! Falafel and bread and hommus and sauces all made from scratch and it shows. Owner is Palestinian-Jordanian and super friendly. All vegan too! Also paid $11 for two halves - would gladly pay double tbh. What a gem.

I was wondering if I can find real and authentic Falafel around Melbourne, as I found this spot of such unique and full of taste and smell of Falafel, I won’t miss it any more. It is truly much more than being deceived or described, Yummy and veggies. I would recommend it all time .

Felt that I was transferred back home, wow! Finally after three years in Melbourne I found the best Falafel place in the north! The falafel is fluffy and fresh, the service and the atmosphere of the place is exquisite. Thank you for this amazing experience.

This humble food truck is one I would make sure you never drive past again. Immediately we were greeted by the friendliest man who insisted we try his falafel. This was the freshest, tastiest falafel I’ve ever had in Melbourne. Really fair prices, great selection of options and incredible food. Make sure you try the special falafel wrap and get it fully loaded!
