Great atmosphere and staff, plenty of delicious food options as well as desserts, magnificent coffee brewed as you wait and yummy Milkshakes made fresh. Enjoyed a delicious brunch which really did hit the spot. Well worth a visit any day of the week.

It’s very hard to top the quality of coffee, food and service at JD’s Place. My partner and I stop by whenever we can because we know we can expect great portions and warm staff - which is hard to come by these days

Great welcoming staff and warming modern atmosphere! Great little cafe and it is nice to have all your tradition cafe options here, cakes and coffee are amazing but I can’t go past the lasagna!!! Great for Brekky, lunch and grabbing a good meal to heat up! Did I mention the lasagna? Servings are generous. Well worth a visit if you are in the area! But get in early if you wanna try the lasagna!

My recent visit with my daughter for breakfast was an absolute delight. The staff were incredibly friendly making us feel welcomed right from the moment we stepped in. What stood out the most was their thoughtful consideration for children. After a delicious and prompt breakfast they provided my daughter with colors to paint which was a lovely touch and kept her entertained.

Best Pies in Darebin area!! Dare I say the North... The pies at this place are homemade, delicious, fresh and as I like to put it are on point. Chunky Steak Pie is so chunky it needs a diet, the Pepper steak has so much kick it needs its own kickboxing heavyweight belt, the Pies here are out of this world good, the Sausage roll is made from real meat and veg and is just delicious, you will struggle to find better on this side of town, infact the last time I had Pie this good I was eating and Auntie Linda's house who is a good mates auntie who is 83 years of age, lives in rural Victoria and been making pies since she was 12, that should tell you how good these pies are. Above said everything at this place is amazing and coffee is exactly what I love in a good coffee. Customer service and staff are incredible and can not be faulted, friendly, helpful and lovely to deal with, this place is truely set to become a Northcote favourite. AAAAA+++++

First time eating at JD’s Place and we were not disappointed!! Our food was delicious and service was very friendly. Highly recommend.
