Lunch today Such a lovely pub and setting on a beautiful sunny day. We had a little bite to eat sat outside in the sunshine. 6oz Beef Burger £10.95 +50p for Onion Rings The chips were nice, burger and Bun not so. Chicken and Bacon Salad £9.95 Very dry salad leaves not enough dressing, had to ask for more. On the specials board was Crispy Calamari and Cheese Bites £5.95 The staff were very friendly and helpful. We don't like to be negative but the food was disappointing. It's not a Gastro Pub.

Great team here!!.. top food, brill range of beers & ciders and all in a fantastic building..could stay for days🥴🍻 six mins walk from the train station, literally just over the bridge.. so makes an excellent waiting area😂!! One downside.. the trek up to the loos!!

Canalhouse has a nice atmosphere for evening drinks or during the day. Outside they have lot of tables if you want to relax in the sun and watch the canal go by. The inside is interesting and cool as you go over a little bridge or walk round the water (50 steps extra maybe???). The beer selection is wide, lots on the tap and fair amount of unusual drinks if you feeling adventurous. When it hits 9pm the audience does disappear so if you want a quiet and fancy area to drink, this be your cup of tea. That was Saturday so cant speak for other days. Only reason why it a 4 star, the kitchen wasn't available for the public on the day and i was hoping to have food at the place...

The location of this place is perfect. Also, as a pub it is very unique. However, the experience there was quite disappointing. I ordered a medium cooked Rump Steak and it wasn't even well done, it was congratulations. It was like a brick, I couldn't even chew it. Moreover, the scampi was tasteless.

What a lovely place. Food is a bit expensive and was not hot but very tasty. Staff very nice. Plan on going back as it is a perfect place to visit in the summer 😀

I only popped in here for a quick pint after work, so I can't comment on the food. The Canalhouse had a fantastic selection of beers, too many to choose from. I was very tempted by one of the stouts they had on offer, which was 11.5% but at the time it was too early to try that! The barstaff were friendly and knew the beers as well. I was really surprised to see that they still have canal boats inside the building, which was really impressive.

Very cool place, it's huge in here! A great selection of craft beer and cider. The canal boats are fantastic, I love the vibe here. Only knock was the service at the bar, made you feel to rushed and didn't want to help much. I feel this was probably not the case regularly though. I would come back for sure, and look forward to it.

Nice location just next to canal and 2 mins away from main train station. Very cosy nice place, big seating area. Good service even when they’re very busy. Outdoor seating. Love the idea of a bride inside pub with dreamy lights. They had big variety of craft beer, ales, ciders & wine as well as non alcoholic drinks. Had couple of drinks and enjoyed my food before catch a train.

A short walk from Nottingham railway station. Friendly and helpful staff. Food good quality. I had the slow cooked bourbon brisket of beef which was very tender and tasty. Other members of the party had beef Sunday lunch, chicken Sunday lunch and venison burger. All reports were good. Outside area is mostly covered by glass gazebo and is a nice canal side site. Inside is quirky as the bar area is formed around a canal boat dock. We were there for a pipe (smoking) show in the events room above the bar, this is hireable. Only real drawback is the toilets, ladies on 1st floor, gentlemen on 2nd floor.

Unique pub worth visiting for its location alone. Also sells loads of ale from keg, cask and bottle. Large canalside area seating. Large inside and done out really well. It’s really nice seeing the barges moored up inside. Serves food. Friendly staff. Went in on a warm Day and it’s lovely and cool inside! Highly recommended 🍻

A unique pub with the canal running through the middle of the pub complete with moored barges inside. Walk across the bridge to get to the bar. Good selection of both real and keg Ales. A lovely Waterside outdoor area when the weather is warmer. Serves food. Located close to the railway station. We'll worth a visit when in Nottingham.

More than 150 beers, it's hard to choose. Great indoors and outdoor seating options available. We had scampi and lasagna, both were tasty and full dishes. Strongly recommended, especially in good weather

Really enjoyed lunch here. Managed to sit outside in the sunshine. Just had loaded skins and nachos but enjoyed both. Going over the canal and two boats to get to the bar made it feel a bit like a game of Tomb Raider. See pictures.

Really nice place. Good selection of drinks. Some of the small batch ales are a bit pricey, but staff warn you if you choose one!

A very beautiful place for the summer days ahead. Apart from the good quality good and th selection of drinks, as well as thw wonderful and tranquil location near the Railway station in Nottingham there are a few things that one has to have love for detail to see. The entrance, despite feeling a bit narrow, it actually provides safety from petty thiebes for the customers. There is plenty of sheltered and shaded seating outside and there is even a small parking at the front yard. There is also enough protection from the waterfront too. A unique feature is that the water of the canal enters the house and one needs to cross an indoors bridge to get to the bar. It is a breathtaking feature. The whole atmosphere is wonderful and I enjoyed every minute I spent there, the location, the food, the architecture to the features and the creativity of the designers.

Fabulous old warehouse of when the canal was at its heyday of commercial carrying. It still has two narrow boats moored within. Good range of beers although some rather expensive. Ladies and gents in second and third floors I was unaware of a disabled one. Dogs are welcome. Certainly worth a vist

Cool place - visited in October but I imagine it’s amazing in summer by the canal. Very quirky and an AMAZING selection at the bar. Well worth a visit for sure

Perfect spot for an outdoor drink in the summer. Huge beer and spirit selection and a quirky venue with the narrowboat stored inside. The stored boat could do with a spring clean and a dust, though..! 😅

Great bar/pub and a great selection of beers on! Lovely setting near the canal too especially on a nice day! Reason for one star less is because its not the cheapest pint, don't mind paying the price for a good pint but a little over the top at £6.80 for a 4.6% ipa.

👍👍 Absolutely amazing! I went to have lunch on my graduation day with my friends. Food was very flavourful and cocktails were nice. Special dietary options are available and you always get 2-4-1 cocktails. Service was really friendly and approachable. Ambience and music is just cherry on top.
