Superb. Excellent choice of both cask and keg beers with an equally impressive amount of cans and bottles to drink in or take out. Nice choice of bar snacks including traditional peanuts/crisps etc but also cheese boards/bread and olives etc. Open plan layout is bright and airy. The staff are friendly and helpful and there's free WiFi. There's also a nice beer yard with seating to the rear, it's small but really well done. They're also Untappd verified so all menus are on Untappd. An absolute must visit in Nottingham.

Really nice venue if your out near Canning Circus. Large variety of craft beer and real ales and Totally Brewed beers. Nicely decorated relaxed bar.

Quite possibly one of the best pubs I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. Stunning selection of beers and ciders, great decor and perfect staff. Even the food was amazing. I’d drive the hour trip to Nottingham just for this place.

Great interior decor. Clean. Friendly staff. A great selection of craft ales and alcoholic drinks. We played ping pong upstairs which was a fun little touch at no expense, in a more casual area. It was a nice mix between the smart casual bar below and a private more fun zone upstairs.

New (to me in Nov 2018) craft beer and cask ale outlet in Nottingham. Easily found at the top of Canning Circus in an old Nat West branch and what an improved use for the building this is! Really friendly and knowledgeable staff and a wonderfully diverse range of beer. There's a focus on local beers of interest but also numerous bottles and cans if you want a change. I loved the chilled vibe, comfy seats and eclectic lighting while sampling top notch beer at genuinely decent prices. As others have said this is a must-visit when in Nottingham!

A very nice bar. Quiet on a Tuesday night when I visited. Music playing in the bar but not too loud to have a normal conversation. Great selection of craft beers available in all sizes from a 1/3 upwards. Friendly and knowledgeable barman. Will definitely go back for a fuller testing!

I really like this pub! The decor is very nice and it's overall quite. The beer is pretty good (although I haven't tried the ciders). Have had a nice experience every time I visited.

Very nice. Great range of beers. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Will go again. The only thing I would change (and I dropped a star for this) is that when we went to enter there were smokers right in the doorway and two of them just blew their stink right in our faces as we entered. We nearly turned around to go elsewhere. So if they could add a smoking area or ask people not to stand in the doorway then it would be more welcoming. Glad we didn't turn around though. I pass this area a lot and I will go again so if I do see they add a smoking area away from the door I'll update to 5 stars ;)

What a splendid beer hole. Seriously, so many beers, each more delicious than the last. And the bar tender was knowledgeable and friendly. And from New Zealand. Not Australia. Don't ask him to throw another shrimp anywhere because he won't.

Currently on a year abroad studying in Nottingham from the states. This is the best place to find local and imported craft keg beers or traditional cask ales. They have much better selection and beer than the other 10+ craft keg/cask pubs I’ve been to in Nottingham. Since it opened earlier this year I have not gone back to any other Nottingham Cask or Keg pubs/bars. A must go to for Beer Connoiseseurs.
