Had a brilliant time at the King Billy. Tables are well spaced and bookable online, table service works really well. The landlord and staff are working their actual arses off keeping things running safely, and doing a great job. Tasty beers, best pizza in Nottingham and dog friendly. What more could you possibly want?

As soon as i walked in gone was my shaggy Rogers facial hair and replaced with a sophisicated grey beard. My cigarettes turned into a hand crafted smoking pipe and i was suddenly wearing sandles. More pubs like this please; good beer, good atmosphere and interesting "locals"

My 1st time in, under the new landlord. Truly amazing olde world. No chrome or plastic in sight and no bang bang bang music. A real clear tasting pint of nectar. Was only in for a Pint, but aim to go back again. The place has a nice ambiance, and the clientele are a nice bunch o'folk. Well worth a visit....Trust me.

Best pub in Nottingham. Great beer, great people, great atmosphere and a roof terrace! Citra is always on and on this visit the pumps included Black Iris Snakeeyes, Thornbridge Jaipur, a strong hazy IPA, another pale and a few darker beers. Also have lagers, ciders and any other boozes you might want.

The Billy uses to he a regular haunt pre- covid and baby. I was pleasantly surprised to see it had retained its traditional character but modernised - the roof terrace with pizza kitchen is a very welcome addition. Fab range of real ale and ciders with knowledgeable friendly staff. Sneinton is now a great destination for decent pubs, the Billy is highly recommended.

Total hidden (from me!) gem. Great selection of local beer. Whacky stuff on the walls and cost setting arrangements. Great little pub!

Excellent pub about 15 minutes walk from Nottingham Railway Station. Eight cask beers on handpump when I visited including a stout plus a range of real ciders. Lots of outdoor seating upstairs some of it covered. The pub is known locally as the King Billy.

Proper pub. Good selection of drinks. Excellent staff. Cosy chilled spot. Didn't get food but menu looks good - tex-mex. I could easily sit here for the day

In my opinion one of the best real ale pubs in Nottingham's Town centre, with at least 8 hand pulls 4 kegs numerous ciders, and at least 2 lagers plus a fridge full of cans, very oldie worldie, with every surface covered in pictures or objetdart usually very busy

This place is becoming in one of my favourites in Nottingham. Good beers, quick service, kind staff and very sociable environment. Although I think pizzas are a bit overpriced. But very satisfied with the place. PS: you can also watch football games!

Lovely pub, reasonably priced spirits and I love how it is decorated and hearing a live string band practice there is such a privilege!!

It's a great little pub, with loads of history (been there since 1823) and a lovely 'locals' friendly atmosphere.

Beautifully decorated, quirky and unique. Music was nice but too loud and spoils the ambience. Staff not very attentive....unless you're a regular!!

Friendly staff who really know their beers and absolutely phenomenal food. Spacious, great atmosphere and a stuffed fox in a hat. Not sure what more I could ask from a pub

Long live The Billy! More pubs like this please. Lovely, relaxing & cosy environment, only ever had good times here. Staff are super friendly & they are dog friendly too 🫢🏼 A must visit, traditional pub in Nottm.

The King Billy keeps some of the best beer in town. Lots of local and not so local real ales backed up by craft beers, ciders and lagers. Don't be put off by the unprepossessing location nor the decor - inside or out - for that matter! Great roof terrace upstairs and sourdough pizza to help soak everything up. What a pub should be.

Traditional pub, not as expensive as city pubs with a great selection of beers, friendly staff and more than enough seating with a large outdoor terrace. Dog friendly, pool table and the pizzas are phenomenal and a good price.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Absolutely amazing! I went to have lunch on my graduation day with my friends. Food was very flavourful and cocktails were nice. Special dietary options are available and you always get 2-4-1 cocktails. Service was really friendly and approachable. Ambience and music is just cherry on top.
