Had a tour around the building which is a fabulous and beautiful with a lot of history. The views from the building are very impressive and it is lovely to look out over the city. The staircase with the glass dome is a great design which is visually stunning.

Useless council. Dirty full of rubbish streets, leaves from last autumn, filthily and incompetent when reporting any issues. Do your job as they say "lets keep Nottingham clean". Pathetic.

Apparently it's only available to see inside with an appointment. Wish it showed people on the website that it is NOT OPEN to the public without an appointment.

Great looking venue for an event but their security are insane bullies. Arrived at the venue Saturday to cornered by the 'head if security' before walking in the door. He threated to call the police, sue us and cancel our entire event. The crime, some of our guest were drinking coffee in the wrong place. Avoid

Utterly unhelpful! We the public have some situations forced upon us by this council that then direct you to a website. Nothing on their can be related to our problems. Limited issues and an inability to answer our unique problems. You just do not seem to be able or allowed to speak to anyone and resolve anything specific outside the limited topics stated on websites! Poor service of the taxpayers

In evening we reached Nottingham city centre/ Nottingham city counsel a beautifull old building infront of which there is a big open square and on other end there are two floor levelled fountains. On two side of roads of the squre there are two tracks for in coming and out going good looking trams carring passengers to there destinations. Evening purple lights of counsel building looks very beautiful.

If you want to be robbed come to Nottingham town center where you will pay ÂŁ5.20 for 2 hrs parking. Like really is that what it costs? Hence why so many shops are out of business cos no one wants to come to the town centre because of these rip off merchants.

I had to register a death today. The car parking in Nottingham is useless if it involves NCP. As a result of those idiots (and their 'support' line not being in the UK as far as I can tell) I nearly missed my vital appointment. The City Council is also useless in almost everything it does. But the Registrar's office was efficient and understanding.

Visiting Nottingham to see friends and the roads are absolutely shocking, pot holes everywhere, they clearly don’t have a road sweeper or any kind. Paths and roads a complete mess, most white line at busy roundabouts completely faded. However there does seem a massive amount of speed and red light cameras. There should be an investigation into where the tax payers money is spent by the corrupt leaders of this council. Disgusting, shame on you.

Love Nottingham city council. Such a beautiful place. Registrar Mandy Simpson replied to my email very promptly a few days before wedding. Thank you for hosting such an amazing and beautiful wedding for us on last Sat. Bless you.

I worked as a Wedding Photographer here, and had a lovely experience. The celebrant and other staff members were accommodating and friendly. The rooms are nicely decorated with big windows with lots of natural light.

I really don't understand why .there was three bins outside my back gate and about six or seven bins cross the street they took the other bins but left the others my only explanation is the guys are left handed they dont like emptying bins at the wrong hand .this is ridiculous and is not the first or second time

Nottingham Council House is the city hall of Nottingham. The 200 feet high dome that rises above the city is the centrepiece of the skyline and presides over the Old Market Square the City Centre. The Council House was commissioned to replace the former Nottingham Exchange. It was designed by Thomas Cecil Howitt in the Neo-Baroque style and built between 1927 and 1929. Housed within the belfry, is the affectionately-named 'Little John' hour bell, the deepest toned clock bell in the United Kingdom, weighing over 10 tonnes. whose strike can be heard for a distance of seven miles. Since Nottingham City Council relocated councillors’ offices to Loxley House in 2010, the Council House is seldom used for day-to-day administrative functions. From April 2011, the building also now serves as the chief Register Office for Births, Marriages and Deaths in the City

Hi there, I am a motorcycle delivery rider working mainly in the city center area and I would like to talk about a problem we (riders) are having. As is known, there are several restaurant and places to collect orders in the city center. And they are all over, not just in a specific spot. And we don’t have allowed places to park our motorcycle and perform our job. So, I believe that from time to time things change and we can notice that the number of motorcycles have really increased lately therefore we need more bay to park all over. We are a class of workers trying our best just like all other jobs and, apart from the difficulties and risks we already take in our profession, now we are needing Council help to make things simple and safer for everyone. I hope hearing back from you soon. Kind regards,
