We stopped here for lunch and to get out of a rainstorm. The welcome we received (despite being wet with bike bags and grouchy) was topped only by the thoughtfully prepared food, cheerfully shared. We all got the menu of the day, and heartily urge you to do the same. We continued our bike trip in good spirits, completely restored by our time here. My young son cannot wait to return, and I agree.

Ate and drank here last night. As a couple of none speaking French pair, we were very impressed by the lovely young member of staff who was very patient with us and helped us with our food and drinks orders. My husband chose the beef bourgeon with pasta and I chose the bacon and cheddar burger. Both dishes absolutely superb. We ordered a glass of the local red and it was very good, however in hindsight we should have opted for a bottle as at €8 per 125ml it would have worked out cheaper. Ambiance In restaurant was wonderful and lots of locals appeared to dine here too, which is always a good sign. Thank you to the staff who helped us out. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Stopped for a drink and stayed for dinner. Lovely to hear the tinkle of the local clock chime. Staff are super friendly and the food lovely and reasonably priced. Definitely will return to try more of the menu and the ice creams :)

We had such wonderful, attentive service by a friendly young man. We arrived looking for a snack and some coffee, and even though the kitchen was closed, they made us up some croque monsieur sandwiches. Was a lovely spot in the centre of town and we’ll definitely be back.

Good spot for lunch, right in the middle of town. We had the beef burgundy, croque monsieur, and a great bottle of wine. Service was spot on. Definitely recommend if you are in Nuits-St-Georges at lunch time.

Excellent cheese and wine. Rest of the food pretty average and the service started off far too fast - we hadn't finished our aperitlfs when the main course arrived - and deteriorated, bringing the wrong dessert.

Great place. Pierre and his brother just bought it in January. I asked Pierre about some wine and we had the best conversation about wine. He explained the area so well. The escargot and beef bourgeogn were fantastic.

Perfect place in a nice little village, to have lunch. Also close to the highway, so a great escape when on the road. Staff is very friendly and helpful

Realy nice place to eat if you visit Nuits-Saint-George. The staff is nice, food is good and very affordable. Watch out for the bees as they come flying arround the food as soon as they bring it to you.

Everywhere else was closed or not serving lunch. They made room for a party of 12 tourists and the service was superb. Nothing was too much trouble. Menu du jour was excellent. I had the fish. Tres bon.
