Great food, drinks and atmosphere! Perfect spot to stay for business and as well as tourist to discover De Veluwe!

In COVID-19 times I was surprised that there was no handgel for the public to desinfect their hands nor a form for contact tracing (except a small block of stickers and a small message on a pot of pens with the request for your name and phone number). The tables were not cleaned with any désinfectant (even if a bottle was available behind the menu table). Neither cooks nor waiters use a mask. The food was reasonable but it took almost 1 hour to get it. The Flespompoen risotto is misleading. It is not a pumpkin risotto - it is a white risotto with roasted pumpkin on top and surrounded (on the same plate) with fresh lettuce that by the time you get to it, is already cooked. I will not go back

We have a dinner with colleagues last week on Thursday, I rate a 5 overall for this restaurant. 1. The environment was pleasant. 2. The man who took the orders was with a nice sense of humor and supporting our broken Dutch speaking. 3.The food was comparably reasonable price. 4. Not much waiting involved. 5. Very nice wine menu. 6. The bathroom was certainly a top level! 7. He also made the most funniest move to my colleague when he showed with his hand a ‘kleine’ beer, I added the picture 😂

Having 2 coffee with cake on a very busy market day you would expect that they have enough change when you have to pay. But this very unfriendly nasty waiter told us that I had to pay by card because the nasty waiter didn't had change for a 50 euro note. When I told him that I had a British bank pass he told me that that was my problem. The nasty waiter probably forgot that euro's is the currency in the Netherlands. Never have I seen such a un mannered nasty waiter as this waiter. Probably didn't get enough tip the day before but what do you expect with that attitude. There are better places in Nunspeet you better avoid this place with this nasty waiter.

The usual Dutch lunch menu. Don't try ditching bread and bread rolls 'cause the menu will then shrink massively.

I spent one night I will not forget it was fascinating, the room very nice and clean . All the workers very welcoming thank you for the amazing hospitality , also I forget in my room a 50€ and one of the worker who checking my room return it to me , thanks for your honesty and morals .

Excellent stay in an idiosyncratic hotel. The building and décor was very stylish. The staff were really friendly, efficient, and helpful. We had diner, which was great. There was a slight hiccough at breakfast. When we booked in we were told that breakfast was a self service from 'the plank'. At breakfast time we were shown to our table where we were asked if we wanted tea of coffee. All good. On the table was a wicker container with pre-package breakfast items in it. To be honest at this point we were a little disappointed, especially as the rest of the stay had been so good. The Dutch couple on the next table thought the same as us. After a minute or two the waitress returned with 'the plank', which was laden with lots of lovely, fresh things. We had an amazing breakfast, but would have been more relaxed if the waitress had told us that 'the plank' would arrive shortly.

I wish I could give more stars ! Such a lovely hotel ! And Anna is absolutely adorable. The room is super clean and comfortable. Food is fresh and tasty. And the hotel is central. Yet you can easily go for bike rides in the forest - and thank you Anna for organizing the bikes ! HIGHLY recommend it !
