Never stay in this hotel!!!! This is one of the horrible hotel and night I ever spent! Reasons are: 1) Instead of sleeping in the already paid room, after midnight I couldn’t open a door! the code for the room door I got with email letter didn’t work. I’ all try to open it in 10 different ways during night! Or it’s needed some special Garry Potter magic to do it! 2) With Wi-Fis and password was also complicate but got internet. (in addition unluckily, my sim card didn’t work too) As a result I spent half night with a baggage in hands and tears in my eyes trying to find other hotels. Almost all hotels was busy or price above 150€ (was too expensive for 3-4 hours to sleep…) Then I came back to Continental , tried several times with code sore ( I have experience with code locks) and didn’t get result. I slept nearby my room in the hallway! 3) As a rule of this hotel, reception manager warks untill 11 pm…It rule, but in my opinion, its a big minus. 4) I wrote an email to Continental hotel at night and during the this day I didn’t receive an answer! Then this evening I call to hotel, there the mister told me that he read my letter, told me that it was my fault because I couldn’t open a door and code was correct! I made video how I try to open but he asked send video evidence with email, dude!. I had physical and moral bad feelings that night. They even didn’t apologize and propose return the money. It’s not so about money, as more about relation and service! Very sad about this situation.

Absolue worst hotel experience ever. Not the room we had booked (no bed for child). Very rude staff when we asked for a crib to makeup for the missing crib bed... Saying we were causing a mess by causing room staff to work overtime (we checked in at 4pm and there was already only the single rude man at the front desk on duty). Then the room... it was dirty, mold in bathroom and shower hadn't been cleaned (things left from previous client). Construction outside produced loud noises early and the bars/sex shops outside caused loud late night rowdiness as well... Mentioning all this at front desk next morning we were insulted by yet another rude staff member... Despite our many attempts we weren't even able to cancel our following nights and had to stay for our full reservation of 3 nights.. Oh yeah and the doors wouldn't close properly... And the shower head was broken... And the shower's door wasn't even big enough for its frame.. Sigh.

The price was good but everything else was very sketchy, it is on a street with lots of strip clubs and sex shops, the hallways smell kind of weird, and there was no one at the front desk when I tried to check out at 6 in the morning, so I just left the key on the front desk. Really the only good things about this hotel are the location, the clean linens, and the blackout shades. You could definitely sleep off some jet lag here.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! There is no guarantee you get a room without bedbugs. We stayed for 2 nights. At the end of july -19. The first night we could’nt sleep after a few hours since the room was full of BEDBUGS! Blood on the sheets and we found other peoples blood also when we started lifting the sheets and everything... We got an other room for the second night. And they promised us money back for the first night... we got no discount, nothing exept itchy marks and a lot of stress... afrayed of getting the bedbugs along to our home😱 I do not recommend this!!! Exept for all this, both front of the hotel and the backyard, is very noisy. The room was very warm, so we had to open the window... the hotel staff is very noisy, partying on their own. Both nights on our stay.

My room was on 3rd floor. Good bits: comfortable bed, good size room, big Windows, good breakfast, very close to old town, shopping centre and main rail/ underground station and free luggages storage after check out. Bad bits: noisy Street, no curtains, blocked basin and TV not working. What you pay what you get (a bit better than I thought), so no complaints.

We stayed in a room for 4, it was very spacious but the bathroom was way too small, overall it was clean but the building felt and look a little old. The location is great, walking distance to many nice places to visit.

I have mixed feeling about the place. It is by far the most affordable. Even though the entrance and corridors are really outdated, the hotel is founded in an old building. The worst part of it is sharing bathroom and toilets which are not very convenient and well kept. But the room itself is rather convenient and has everything you need.

Total disaster if you want to cancel. They will blow you off entirely and won’t respond. The link for cancellation doesn’t work properly.

I have upgraded the room with shower and toilet, but shower unfortunately does not supply hot waters - of course I nearly caught a cold. In addition, even I had pre-paid the fee through booking website, this hotel’s automatic check-in machine required my credit card -what could I did another? - and today I have just found that this hotel charged full fee (suprisingry higher amount than the price I have booked through booking website) to my credit card. Of course I sent email again and again, but this hotel seems to simply ignore my claim. So frendly and kind manner! I have to say that this hotel is a scam. Only merit of this hotel is location (just nearby central station), but you can find many other hotels nearby station, and even other hotels seems to be a little bit expensive, that will not price for your health.

Room was a nice size well laid out, and clean. Shower has good water pressure. Looks to be newly renovated.Downside - no aircon, no refrigerator. Lift works intermittently, accessing room with pin and twisting lock difficult. All instructions in German. Location is perfect, close to Hauptbahnhof and in the Aldstadt. Forget about breakfast it's a vending machine. I have no idea how long the croissants have been sitting there. Would stay again in Autumn but not Summer. There are plenty of hotel choices.

The Hotel is very nice and is placed on the main artery of Nuremberg. The room is welcoming and warm without noise from the road outside because It gives on an internal Courtyard. I used the hotel only to sleep and I don't know exactly the other services. Pay attention if you arrive after midnight: the room opens with a numeral code given by a automatic machine, be sure yours is correct or the reception is open, otherwise you will sleep on the landing until the cleaning woman shows up at 7:00 A.M. But we do like "sporty" people, don't we? Can't give full rating.

Nice and clean hotel in the center of Nirnberg. I'm not rating service as everything is automated

The location is good, but that is almost the only good thing about the hotel. Clearly too expensive, in summary, the price-quality ratio is out of place. The employee at the hotel reception smokes indoors

A very conveniently placed hotel direct in the old town and within 8 minutes walk to the main train station. The manager on duty was very friendly and kind. We learnt a lot about the history of the hotel and the surrounding businesses from him. There were snack and drink vending machines on every floor. Access to the rooms only work with a pin, no keys. Also no 24 hour reception. Our room was spotlessly clean (we were on the fourth floor which was newly renovated) with sufficient towels and toilet paper and hand soap 🧼. Though lacking in luxuries like shampoo and shower gel the level of convenience and cleanliness and most importantly for the price was absolutely great.

Shower and toilet are on the floor, which is fair since they tell you beforehand, but those aren't exactly top notch... Not really disgusting but run down. The price is unbeatable considering it's only a 2 minute walk to the central station, but you better be up for some long nights: The place is surrounded by strip clubs and a disco which make it *very* hard to sleep in the weekend. Breakfast is included and supposedly good but I didn't have the time to check it out. In the end I felt uncomfortable and wouldn't stay there again.

I booked one day from booking.com for July 2020 long time ago. Since US citizens are still banned from EU, I can’t go. I emailed them, left messages for them and contacted Booking.com to see if it’s possible, they ignored me for a whole month. Then sending “no show” to booking.com to charge me the whole fee. Its fine for me if they won’t give refund or voucher, but at least a response! There are about 20 hotels I contacted for my July trip to Europe all responded except this one. Never for this hotel.

You get what you paid for. Except that there is a nightclub on the opposite side and the windows aren't even remotely soundproof. Cool if you want to party. Not cool for everyone else.
