My favourite local Vietnamese restaurant. I have been coming here for years and the food has never disappointed. So flavoursome and unique! A very generous lunch serving is only $12. The owner and staff are super friendly.

Food is consistently great and has been my number 1 go to Vietnamese place. The Pho is delicious and I can’t get enough of their fried rice dishes. However, the spring rolls have gone smaller to how I remember them.

As a regular, always look forward to my favorite dish, Chile beef with lemon grass 135. Nice atmosphere, friendly efficient service providing great food at reasonable prices.

This is as close to Vietnam you'll get without actually being there. There's no shortage of Vietnamese restaurants in Melbourne and they all claim to be 'authentic', but only Viet Pearl can truly claim that title. Their menu is huge and there's a lot to choose from (which can be overwhelming if you're as indecisive as me). Just ask for a recommendation and they'll narrow down on exactly what you want. If you haven't had one before, I'd recommend a Vietnamese coffee after you've finished your meal. Overall, Viet Pearl is authentic, affordable and absolutely delicious.

Long simmered Pho broth, resulting in deep flavour. If you want the taste of amazing Pho, experience Pho in this restaurant. We were highly impressed. Strong flavour with minimal oil and no MSG headache! The prices are great too. The spring rolls with lettuce, mint and sauce were also delicious. The Vietnamese coffee, strong!

Cheap and delicious. Our food arrived quickly to the table. Service was good, wait staff helpful. Our bill x2 people, one entree, 2 mains ,2 soft drinks was twenty dollars each.

No frills Vietnamese restaurant. Proper good food, super friendly staff and it’s BYO. Unbeatable really! The coleslaw/Vietnamese salads are a must.

The food (particularly the pho broth) is great. It’s just a shame the service was so mediocre (wish I could underscore mediocre). 🤦🏻‍♂️ And the food took almost an hour to arrive. 🐌 With so much good Vietnamese around, Viet Pearl doesn’t make a very compelling reason to head back anytime soon.

Pho is good! Service is very very average and tried to charge us 3 times our actual bill.
