My experience here.. hopefully it never happens to anyone else. So we went here for a time share tour after buying some tickets for a discount. We were promised a free continental breakfast for a 90 min tour. So far soon good. We get to the hotel fill out some papers and our rep takes us to another room where we get asked more questions. She leads us to the "breakfast room"..y'all...its a pile of water bottles and muffins. Once they take you into the back they start calling it snacks and not continental breakfast.red flag...kinda disappointed. Moving on...our rep tells us that because we aren't staying at the hotel then we need to wait for another rep and it could be up to 2 hours on top of the 90 min tour. Y'all..this lady gives us two options..either wait there for 4 hours or pay them $150 to leave. We paid the 150$ and briskly left that hotel feeling freshly F***'d. 150$ for a muffin and about an hour of our time. Stay away from timeshares.

Not a bad spot. Rooms are definitely dated and I think $20 bucks a head for 2 slides and a lazy river is way to much. I had to pay extra to use the gym for some reason and no one came to turn the room over the whole time we were here. I’m not coming back but that’s not why. The deli and restaurant are just hot garbage. I have spent 4 nights here and every time I go into the marketplace that poor women is working by herself dealing with at least 6 mean customers wanting food. On 2 separate occasions I watched someone look into the deli from the hall in the back and then disappear. Maybe if the took a few people away from selling timeshares they could free up some room in the budget to get a few people in there and get it running smoothly. The sports bar is better but not by much. It’s overpriced and the food just tastes like it just came out of the bottom of the freezer. All in all there are better places to spend your money. It’s not bad, but definitely not good.

There were many negatives. One day the cleaning lady walked in on me at 9:20 am while I was naked. No idea why she was coming in. We were told they don't clean during the stay. She had knocked on the door, but only waited a few seconds before opening it. I notified the management. They said they would send someone for a report. I said no, and that I just didn't want it to happen again. After that, I used the chain lock. Guess what - last day same thing almost happened but the chain stopped her from opening the door. Also, at 8:30 am they were blowing leaves almost every morning. So don't expect quiet. The maintenance room door was right in front of the elevator in our building. The door was most often open so you saw cleaning carts, trash and supplies whenever you used the elevator. The room was nice but had a distinct unpleasant musty smell. We kept the patio doors open whenever we were in the room to try to air it out. The shuttle and concierge staff were super nice. Shuttle guy gets 5 stars. I could go on, but the vibe I get is Westlake is a solid B resort that misses a connection between management and staff. Seems like staff are going through the motions with a smile, but no real thinking. You'd think that after a guest complains about being walked in on, they would make sure it did not happen again to the same guest. Also, why was she coming in when we were told they don't clean during the stay? She tried to come in 2x just after 9am. As to price, it is reasonable for what you get.

Just returned from staying at 2 bedroom condo for a week. We booked thought VRBO and didn’t do timeshare presentation. The good: the grounds are beautiful, the water park is $20 per person but really nice and fun for kids.So many walking paths , miniature golf, multiple pools and hot tubs. Perfect to spend time outside. The Bad: our 2 bedroom condo was in a great need of complete renovation. Every single appliance was not working properly. The oven never reached 450 degrees, the fridge was leaking, the dryer was screeching but the dishwasher almost caught condo on fire!!! We put dishes in and thankfully were still inside when it started smoking and filled the whole place with toxic melted plastic smell! I can’t even imagine what would happen if we left to the parks 10 minutes early. We reported to maintenance and they sent a repair man but we did not risk it to try to wash dishes again. The toilets we’re running all night, and the showers needed deep cleaning not just wiping. I loved the resort but hated the condo. Maybe will stay again in a new building where everything is brand new.

Positive: The staff were very pleasant, I’ve met many and every single person was beyond pleasant especially Chucho,Maria, and Max they were a breath of fresh air. The suites were very spacious for my family of 5. We enjoyed all of the amenities especially the fire pit. Beds were beyond comfortable and so were the pillows. Check-in process was easy and fast. Whatever you need the resort makes sure the address the situation immediately. Negatives: From the time we arrived there had been issues after issues. The key cards were not working and we were issued 7. The tub would not fill up past the jets, the toilets clogged, and the doors would not close properly. We had to be moved to another room due to so many issues and he second room wasn’t any better. There were no coffee mugs or proper kitchen utensils. I found a roach in one of the cabinets and there were ants on the dressers. The rooms are very dated and are in need of serious upgrading.

The lobby and resort itself are very nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall, our room was nice. The beds were clean and very comfortable. However, the blinds were broken and we had trouble closing them to block out the bright lights from the parking lot. The shower seemed to be stained from age and wear, and the shower head was a bit rusted/corroded and falling out of the wall. We reported it to the desk. We had a King bed, pull-out sofa bed, jacuzzi tub, microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee pot, along with a few dishes, which was convenient. The rooms are clearly labeled for non-smoking, but we watched the people in the room next to us walk out of the room into the enclosed shared corridor, light up, and blow cigarette smoke in our faces as we were trying to get into our room. We promptly told the front desk and they were very helpful in taking care of the issue. The bell services staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant and shop staff members were prompt and courteous. There were a lot of amenities offered and several pools as well, which were very nice. We were fairly close to the Disney Parks (about 15 min drive). Overall, this resort was a good value for our family.

We just stayed there for a week. We used my boyfriend's brothers timeshare. He was telling us how wonderful the place was and allowed us to use his week at his timeshare there. We were all excited about going. Once we got there, things went down hill. When we went to check in, our suite was not ready. That was at 6pm. They tried to put us in a smaller room. We refused. After standing at the front desk for 45 minutes, they finally got us a suite. We finally got to our suite and unloaded our vehicle. We had been driving for over 8 hours and we were tired so we decided to eat dinner at the resort. We went to the Drafts bar and grill that was on site. We sat down and our waitress came to our table to take our drink order. Once she brought back our drinks, she took our order. Almost everything that we tried to order was not available. When we finally settled for whatever we could just to get something to eat, it took almost an hour and a half to get our food!! They said they were short staffed. We were at the resort for 6 nights. We had no hot water 3 of the 6 nights unless you waited til late at night to get a shower. Water park was nice. Not much else to brag about. We won't stay there again!

The first room we had not only wasn't very clean, there was a maintenance guy in our bathroom taking a dump as we walked in. We did get a new, upgraded room that was pretty nice, but so far away from everything. We picked this resort partly because of the washer/dryer, but they had so much rust on them, they weren't usable. We were afraid the rust would stain our clothes. What really upset me was we left the room at 10:00am (no late checkout available), shut the door while we still had things in the room. The key stopped working right at 10:00am so we couldn't get the rest of our things. I had to go to the front desk, wait in line, drive back to the room and then get our things. What if we closed the door with our 1 and 2 year old in there? It would be nice if the keys stopped working at say... 10:10am? Also the service at the restaurant isn't very good and it's super expensive. I dunno, the whole resort is just okay. Not to mention the traffic around there. Not the hotels fault, but beware.

This resort is great, yes the rooms are a little out dated and yes the parking can be a challenge. But our 2 bedroom villa is amazing! It's gigantic and honestly enough room for 2 families. Service has been great. Our room is super clean and comfy. I did not feel as if I slept in a hotel. The location is another great thing, we are minutes away from Universal and Disney. I have read the bad reviews on here and I have to say we have had nothing but a great experience. I will definitely stay here again.

If you’re even thinking about getting a time share here or even renting here check out their reviews on BBB and do your research. There is a class action lawsuit on the place. This resort is the dirty, some rooms look like they haven’t been renovated since the 80’s. The front desk staff are rude, not helpful, and don’t know how to treat long time owners of this time share. This place has done down hill. I wouldn’t recommend people buying or renting here. Hilton hotels are cleaner, more accommodating and have better customer service. If I went through a list of all the things wrong with this room I’d reach the max amount of words for this post. Do yourself a favor and don’t book this place for a vacation but instead you’ll get a nightmare. Everything from clogged toilets, no air condition, ants, and non working fridge to blinds that don’t close all the way…just to name a few. To top it off you try to get help and the staff either lies, don’t know what they are doing or are just plain out rude and act like they don’t care. It’s sad that a business like this passes state inspections of any kind.

I would rate this place 5 star ⭐️ instead if 4 if the parking spaces were assigned to units. Other than parking situation everything else was good about this resort. Going in we were skeptical especially after reading all the negative reviews but we found this place very welcoming and comfortable. Service was great 👍🏻 staff was polite and professional. Room was clean and updated everything worked no issues, we stayed at 2 bed unit it felt like home away from home. This place has several Pools and pools are the best part of this resort we were out all day and in the evening just relaxing at the pools with couple of other families no big crowds or issues. We were only given 2 water park ticket and rest we had to pay for so we didn’t Visit park. The market place, restaurant, gaming area and bowing was all fun and shuttle service was helpful. Overall a good wholesome family fun experience. We did sign up for time share sales presentation we didn’t find any staff members pushy or unreasonable. My only recommendation is if they can a assign parking space that will great.

We loved our stay! Lots of activities to do when you just want a relaxing day away from the parks. The food was pretty good at the on site restaurant. We enjoyed the pools and the water park. The room and all of the facilities were clean and well maintained. My only “complaint” and it’s so minor, is that we went to the pools with a pool bar twice during their supposed open hours and they were not open. We wanted to drink by the pool but were unable to. Again this is so minor and does not take away from how great our stay was!

Overall a very disappointing stay. Prices keep going higher, quality keeps sinking. Music from the pool is played at ridiculously high volumes way past closing time, guests will also not be asked to leave at closing time (11PM). It’s as if management has lost all control and doesn’t care, the only thing that matters is profit. They’ll gladly charge you but provide very little in return. Calling for information is always inaccurate and response times for requests is laughable at best. It used to be a nice place to spend your vacation, but sadly it’s fallen from grace. Being an owner is worth nothing at this point. Not worth looking at in any capacity. Sad excuse for a resort.

Hot tub was broke had to switch rooms but not a big deal staff was on top of it. Ceramic tile throughout. King bed room was pleasant. Kitchen was stocked good. Location was really good just had building facing highway again not big deal. Property was very large and entry building was well maintained. Overall I’d rate 3.8 out of 5 stars. Would stay again.

Gym is very cool. Amenities and activities included are great too but book them early or you'll have to wait a bit (depending on the season). The rooms are decent with all that you need to stay there a few weeks. The restaurants offer some good stuff but I wish there was more option within the resort. It's very close to International drive though where you'll find plenty of restaurants. Also quite close to Universal Studios and other parks.

The 1 Bedroom Deluxe Villa is beautiful. Great view of the lake, and the dining room table is a nice touch along with the sectional couch. It has a jacuzzi tub, large shower, its own washer/dryer/dishwasher/oven/full size fridge. There are shuttles that bring you all over the resort, which is quite large. Everyone is very friendly and, most of importantly, the place is very clean.

This place is amazing. The staff are all very kind. The rooms are very clean and cozy. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. They have golf cart drivers that will pick you up and transport you from your room to the main areas. They offer really charming activities for Holidays. It’s the perfect getaway for a couple, a group of friends or a family vacation.

Consistently had no hot water, no water pressure in one of the bathrooms, one of the toilets didn't work. Called maintenance and they fixed one of the three issues but not the others. Had an adjoining room and was unable to lock the door so unknown person in other room was able to keep opening the door into our room which was a huge safety issue. There for 6 nights and never got any housekeeping service. When you would call the front desk to ask for help they wouldn't be able to answer any questions. Rooms were huge and perfect for a large family, beds were comfy, amenities were cool, marketplace and coffee stand was good. Convenient location. Overall an average place. Maybe I would come back, but the bad parts were pretty unfortunate because the good parts were really good.

This was a great resort to stay for a few days. It’s not far from Universal , local shops, stores are close by. They did have several pools on site, plus a water park which was dope.!!!! Rooms were very spacious, and the balcony was a decent size as well. The bathroom was amazing. Stand up shower and a jacuzzi for those special nights. I must say this was a good place to vacation.

Awful. Rooms were dirty. Service was non existent, and they didn't even offer house keeping. We were NOT there on a time share rate so gladly didn't have to go to a time share sales pitch. My guess is that they offer low rates to get families to try it out, but they have to suffer through a convincing sales pitch. Do yourself a favor and put away a few bucks a month and pay for your vacation to better places every year. Why lock yourself into any place (Monthly/Yearly fee) and an upfront fee (guessing at least $20K) for something you don't own and can only sell at a loss, it doesn't make sense. Anyway, we tried to cancel our last night as it was pointless to stay at this dirty "resort," but management was less than accommodating. Even our expedia rep couldn't help get our money back for the last night. Guess it would have been better to book through a travel agent who could have at least steered us away from this place. Don't stay here. There are better hotels that are closer to Disney or Universal and are cheaper. (Sure the promo rates may be cheaper, but may have hidden costs and/or find yourself buying a timeshare you don't need). We should have checked the reviews.

The accommodations exceeded our expectations with their spacious layout and modern decor. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The room was impeccably clean, and the attention to detail was evident throughout. We appreciated the thoughtful amenities and the well-appointed bathroom. Overall, it was a perfect retreat to relax and unwind.

The staff at this place were incredibly friendly and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with smiles and genuine warmth. They were always available to assist us with any questions or requests, making us feel valued and appreciated. Their friendly demeanor added to the overall positive atmosphere of the resort, and we enjoyed interacting with them throughout our stay. It's evident that the staff takes pride in providing excellent service

The room was very nice with a comfortable king-size bed. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, so I wouldn't plan on having anyone sleep on it. The room had an enormous jetted tub, which was great. The water park at the resort was fun. My 8 year-old loved the lazy river, wave pool, and slide. He told me several times that the resort was the best vacation he'd ever been on and did want to leave. I would definitely go back.

I have been an owner for three years. Already paid my two bedroom unit off in full. Don’t waste your money. It’s a scam. This current trip has been a nightmare. The room wasn’t clean at all there was poop not only on the floor of the bathroom but also on the master bedroom sheets. Found a nice big coach. The a/c is also not working. The toiletries all empty. As of now refused to compensate us in anyway.

We loved our stay. Samara was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond to make our stay incredible. For people that travel often, she stood out to us. It goes a long way to have such a great attitude. Her joy was so contagious. She definitely deserves a raise!

We stayed for a week in a 4 bedroom suite. Loved the setup. Each person/family had their own space including living space and kitchen. The rooms could use some updates. The toilet in one of the suites kept running and maintenance jiggled the handle until ot stopped. 🙄 Maintenance did respond quickly for other issues we had and took care of them. Parking is horrible! Honestly, that's why I deducted a star. Parking spaces around the buildings go quickly and more than once, we ended up parking 2 or 3 buildings away. The amenities on the grounds are really nice. You could honestly spend your entire vacation in the resort. Also, the location is great. You can easily jump on the I-4 and International Dr. All in all, it was a good experience.

Great place to stay. Had a lot of activities to do on site, plus a lot more really close to it. The room was great. Had our own kitchen so we didn't have to go out to eat if we chose not to.

We got a nice studio bed for the weekend after our cruise until our flight on Sunday. Staff are friendly and helpful. Everyone with a smile. No one bothered us as we didn't bother others. We didn't ask for maintenance, but they showed up when we were out for 10 minutes. That scared me! As I walked into our room, a maintenance man was in our bathroom. He said he was fixing a light. Since he was already there, I asked if he could fix the mirrored closet doors because they were already off the rail when wearrived. He was kind and obliged. We didn't go to the theme water park on site. But we did go into the heated outdoor pool. That was great! Also has an outdoor hot tub. We will bring the kids next time!

Very friendly staff. I loved that they had a private area to dispose of personal garbage, not just some huge receptacle somewhere on the premises. It's a big place and everyone is so helpful. Only the gym was a problem. They didn't want me to bring weights into the big yoga room because it might hurt the flooring. Umm, then use a different flooring. It's a GYM. Otherwise, a decent stay. Plenty to do.

Overall good experience. There was nothing in particularly bad about it but it wasn't overly amazing either. The hotel room was very nice exactly as pictured could use a deep clean but wasn't overly dirty. The property itself was very large and seem to have a lot of great amenities. Would recommend for anybody staying in the area for more than a couple days or with a family. Tons of activities to do on property as well as close to All sorts of different Orlando attractions

We stayed in April and enjoyed. I booked a studio villa for my son and I. Bed was big enough to hold us both, the tub in the bathroom was slightly dirty but we stuck to the shower anyway. The water park was fulfilling for an 8 year old, we enjoyed the mini bowling alley and the pool near our room. Overall it was a good stay for the pay and we will be returning in July .
