I just had 2 new tires installed and they are 5 years old according to the manufacturer stamp on the tires. These tires should be destroyed or returned to the manufacturer. Ok, i called the Corporate Customer relations number provided bellow and i was told call the store , we can't do anything here. Thank you again for the customer service Canadian tire! The worst customer service ever existed!

How is it that it takes more than two days to prepare a item for pickup? It's faster to order from Amazon. Called the store and the representative could not care less about the order not being ready at the time being promised. This store doesn't care about having items ready on time and doesn't care when you call in to ask about what going on. Massive improvement required.

Verry, good, the only problem is I park my car in the upper parking to find out that the elevator 🛗 was out of service 😑 so I had to do 3 floor, up and down, that was a killer 😑

I don’t why the cashier at return desk was rude. We purchased buckets of 5 Gallons. As it was food aggregate now that we have to use it for our purpose it is obviously we have to rinse before we use. Later we don’t need anymore because the food was not staying under temperature. So I went there and she said I will not accept this return but I can give you exchange!! There was little fee water drops but it is obviously we rinsed other bucket before we use.. it is common sense and she is like I will not give you return. She was definitely being racist. I hate this people

⚠️ Today Finally I realized that Why American Businesses are Taking over Canada, and why Canadian are calling every single domestic business as (Proudly Canadian) • Yesterday a BBQ Grill was purchased and today I went to return due to dissatisfaction, The Customer service refused for a refund because they don’t accept open box returns. • It’s a common sense that after buying you have to open and use than U can tell if it’s good or not for your use. The (Conclusion) is that Canadian Tire Business needs to go learn and get educated by Home-Depot, Walmart, Costco, and any other big or small American Business, if and only if you Don’t wanna shut your doors permanently in a near future.

When you come here and are waiting for a pick up order from the bring a snack and a fully charged phone. In no way should I have to come and wait 27 minutes for an order. It just doesn't seem to make sense. 1 of 2 left so I ordered it just in case. I could see the other one in the seasonal section from the customer service desk when I came to pick it up. I should have just told them to give me that one.

The worst service ever. Do your best to have more employees not to waste people’s times waiting for “one single” associate to do all the job for others. After long 10 hours work I needed to buy a car part so I went for the nearest store to me to save sometime to be able to reach home soon and have my first meal a day and rest.. but no, they made me more anxious and stressed waiting. Do yourself a favour and find another store in another location.

I tried to get a Safety Standards Certificate with Canadian tire and that was a nightmare due to lack of analysis or they were just trying to sell instead of following the rules. My car is a CX3 2020 with 17.000km in total. The first time that I brought my car to do the inspection my disc (rotors) breaks was showing a few and thin marks of rusty and the mechanic didn't pass my car. I was informed by the manager that I have 10 days to fix it and to drive the car daily and those marks should disappear, also the manager quoted me what is according him "the expensive pair of rotor breaks for longevity matters" in case I need to replace it. I drove my car daily as well as I brought my car to my local dealership and they did an excellent job confirming to me that my breaks are in good condition since, there are no rusty marks and more importantly, the brake pedal is NOT pulsating or vibrating when I am pressing it for break the car, as well as the thickness of the discs and breaks pads are ALSO in good conditions. So I brought my car for the second time to Canadian Tire Scarborough and the unbelievable call of my rotor breaks are not in good condition remained in place, please note, they didn't even bring my car inside to have a look at it. I drove my car more and brought it back for the third time to Canadian Tire Scarborough and again they didn't bring my car inside to have a look at it. The mechanic just walked outside to take a look and didn't pass my car again. Since the manager wasn't working that day I was unable to solve it. Today on November 15 I brought my car back for the fourth time talked to the manager, explained and showed him my rotor breaks and he finally was able to see and understand that my rotor breaks are in good condition without any signs of rusty as well as pedal are not pulsating or vibrating when pressing it. Because a simple task that started on November 2 and ended up on November 15 going back forward many times and I had to fight for it by showing them the mistake I am giving 2 stars as a rating. Mechanics on this location need to be better trained to be able to distinguish regular marks on rotors breaks from rusty marks. Also, they need to follow Ontario Government rules Section 3, page 36 Item 9 that says: "Lateral run-out and parallelism needs to be checked ONLY where there is evidence of a problem (for example, severe brake pedal pulsation upon brake application)."

We got a nail in our tire and had to switch it out with our spare. As such we needed to have the lug nuts torqued. Called and spoke with Jeremy who told us to come on over and they would do it free of charge. When we got there they torqued all 4 tires as a courtesy. When asked whether the damaged tire could be repaired, Jeremy immediately came and took a look. When he had determined it could likely be repaired he immediately started someone working on it. Within an hour they had repaired the tire and put it back on our vehicle. Service was amazing! I will definitely be coming back next time we need something done.

This kind of signage is wildly antisocial. While I acknowledge that you're opperating in a bad area, the vast majority of people are honest and law abiding. They shouldn't be subjected to this type of treatment. P.S. a store doesn't have the authority to implement mandatory searches.

I normally don't come to this location. the staff are great but the customers are ridiculous. I was in the tire section trying to get an idea of what tires I wanted. There was a girl be hind the counter that basically ignored that I needed her help. but then there came a girl that was waiting for her friend to come out of the bathroom. She was an employee there but she was able to help me out with the tires. Thank you so much Shereen for helping me. you weren't even getting paid for it and you took your time to help me. continue with that positivity <3

In all my years as a customer, I've never been treated as rudely by any company as the customer service department at this location. My email to the customer service manager was completely ignored. They're great at taking your money but good luck if you ever experience any issues and need customer service.

Just visited this location after giving them a call regarding a return. She said I can exchange the item and get something that is the same value or greater in price and we would pay the difference. Understandable! I go to the store and a chinese or Philippine old lady was being extremely rude. She said I had to exchange for items at the same exact value???? Ridiculous. She also said how she can’t offer me store credit? I went back to get two engine oils and she was busy with another customer so another lady helped me. She offered me store credit. She was much nicer and polite than the first woman I encountered. What are these double standards? Reinforce your rules and make them aware to all employees and remain kind. Being kind goes a LONG WAY.

This store is terrible. I looked up the items I needed before going to this specific Canadian Tire. Online it said the items I needed were in stock. Not just 1 but many in stock. So took the bus there, only to find out most of the items were not in the store. Also trying trying to find help is a joke. Very disappointed and annoyed. Called to speak to the manager and she didn't help one bit. Don't waste your time going to this store.

I purchased some ice skates here recently, which come with complementary skate sharpening. I brought two other pairs of older skates with me, and paid the fee for both of those skates to be sharpened as well. The next day, we went ice skating only to realize that all 3 pairs of skates were not sharp at all - they were smooth, dull and didn't even shave off the back of my nail when scraped on any part of the skate! They were sharper before I brought them in. Went back to Cedarbrae to ask for a refund, and the store manager was very dismissive, and kinda rude. I calmly explained why I was there and that I would need to go to a different store to have the skates sharpened, so I wanted a refund since there is clearly something wrong with their skate sharpening machine. The store manager came over and loudly explained that he didn't know what I wanted him to do, but that I had paid for a service so they were not going to give me a refund because they had provided the service. He said they could sharpen them again, but I said there is no point, as the machine does not sharpen skates. He then repeated that he didn't know what I wanted then, and walked away. I felt he was very condescending and a bit hostile. Will not be going back there again. Ended up going to another Canadian Tire at Rylander where they were able to sharpen all 3 skates - had to pay again for a service that should have been done properly the first time. Don't go to this location for skate sharpening or you will regret it!

I am terribly disappointed with the quality of service at the Canadian Tire's auto service, and I do not recommend getting serviced here. On May 30th, I bought 4 new Continental Tires from the auto shop, but the auto shop neglected to put tire caps on any of the tires to stop deflation. I didn't notice this until my car started to bounce and wobble on the highway, and then my car's display notified me of low tire pressure. I had to return to the auto shop twice after my initial appointment to get the tires fixed, which included refilling the air in the tires the first time and re-balancing one of the tires the second time. These mistakes could've caused a fatal accident on the highway.

I came to this Canadian Tire to get a refund on a item, no one was at the return section I had to wait 30 mins until someone came even though I made eye contact with other associates in the store. The manager was very unprofessional and didn't hear me out correctly to why I wanted a refund. The people here don't know their own return policy. I was denied any help. I was able to get the right assistance at another location on Sheppard and Leslie. The manager processed my refund and he was very professional. The manager and associates at the Cedabrae location need serious help with their customer service training. The other Canadian Tire told me that what was I expecting from a Canadian Tire in Markham and Lawrence. Never coming here again.

I went to two CTC stores that day. Both had excellent staff. The warden store didn't have the item I ordered but the Cedarbrae one did. The young man at Cedarbrae went way out of his way to find that item. I was happily surprised at his terrific customer service.

Nothing but lying staff and a manager that backs up their lying cashiers. I specifically bought an item and asked about their return policy and they told me under 30 days full money back. Under 30 days I tried returning the item and they tried telling me I didn’t buy it from their location when the receipt clearly indicates their store number and store address. Their manager tells me i was misinformed by their staff… how is that my problem? They need to stop hiring people who just say whatever when asked a question about their return policy. 0 stars for this location honestly. The customer service number below is MUCH more useless than the store itself LOL. What’s the point in wasting my time to get in contact with customer care for you guys to tell me the exact same thing at the store ??

I deeply regret to say that my recent experiences at Canadian Tire have been nothing short of extremely disappointing. This review encompasses two visits, both of which were marred by significant issues, resulting in a complete loss of confidence in the establishment. During my initial visit, I had scheduled an appointment for 9 AM, but I was left waiting for an excruciating hour and a half before my car was finally taken in for service. To my dismay, I observed my vehicle sitting idle in the parking lot, while I anxiously waited for the promised service. This blatant disregard for punctuality and customer convenience displayed a complete lack of respect for customers' time and schedules. Unfortunately, my second visit, intended for a tire replacement, proved to be equally disappointing. I engaged with a customer representative named Sam, who was unhelpful and failed to provide accurate information. When I inquired about the tire pressure they would use, Sam casually mentioned that they followed guidelines from books. However, upon inspecting my vehicle afterward, I discovered that the tire pressure far exceeded the recommended limit of 15 psi. This oversight, which could have jeopardized the safety of my vehicle, raises significant concerns about the competence and attention to detail of the technicians, specifically Dave, who performed the service. When I sought resolution and requested to speak with a manager, named Anwar, I was met with utter disregard and a lack of willingness to address my concerns. Anwar's unwillingness to engage with customers and provide assistance further solidified my disillusionment with Canadian Tire. To exacerbate matters, despite following the protocol of emailing my concerns to the provided address, I received no response whatsoever. This failure to acknowledge customer feedback only underscores the dismissive and unprofessional approach of Canadian Tire towards customer satisfaction. In light of these recurring and distressing experiences, I cannot emphasize enough my profound disappointment with Canadian Tire. I am compelled to assign a rating of zero stars to reflect the abysmal service, unhelpful customer representative (Sam), technician (Dave), and manager (Anwar) interactions, as well as the complete lack of responsiveness to customer concerns. It is my sincere hope that Canadian Tire takes this review as an opportunity for serious reflection, addressing the evident flaws in their service delivery and prioritizing customer satisfaction. As it stands, I cannot recommend Canadian Tire to others, and I implore the establishment to undertake significant improvements to regain customer trust and loyalty.

Store is great, lots of sales and clearance bins. I personally don't like their automotive center, as they do inspections and provide a list of optional things to fix and they pressure you to do so. When I declined, the mechanic behind the sales lady shook his head. I'm sorry, this is my money. Went to a mechanic my other family suggested and he was way cheaper and fixed only the safety critical parts.

Great store and friendly staff. As a former Canadian Tire Manager at another store. I can say that this location is great and the staff take pride in their store. The dealer and GM are doing a great job. Well done

It has alot to offer in sales of any kind of instruments and equipment. A very nice place to be. But there customer attendance to people finding what to buy is poor. It seems every staff don't care because they're busy. They need to dedicate staffs strictly to attend to customer directly.

Took my car in for my winter tire swap. Was my first time using Canadian Tire auto services and I was very skeptical about this store given of all the negative reviews. That said, it was a very seamless experience. The staff were pleasant and helpful - I was able to drop off my car before work at 8:00am and pick up afterwards. Also, the service was QUICK - my car was ready within half an hour, even though I didn't need it till much later. Reason for not giving 5 stars is they NEVER answer the phone. I called on 5 different occasions and was on hold for over 45 mins and still didn't speak to anyone. Perhaps they're short staffed like most industries, but this really impacts customer service. Would definitely be returning to this location, nonetheless.

Bad service at customer service desk. I lost the receipt tried to exchange extra paint can. Paint was the not customized just like they have it on the shelves. The lady at desk told me how do I know you didn't steal this item. Spoke to the manager and she didn't even apologized. I guess everyone who goes to Canadian Tire steals big cans of paints and then go to the customer service to return it. I guess you need spend some money on security Canadian Tire as you are accusing customers stealing paint cans. I guess we all have giant pockets that we put 3L paint cans and walkout of your stores without sounding the alarm. The manage told me to call the corporate office as it is their policy. I guess accusing Customers of stealing is corporate policy.

Great experience. Customer service lady was amazing, friendly and super efficient at doing returns; while cutting several keys for me and helping other customers. Garden center went to the warehouse quickly to retrieve some in door plant food; while sports department helped me with various prices on the spot I'd highly commend this location. Things seem to move like a well-oiled machine.

My wife towed our 2018 Kia Sportage, which seems to need a new battery today Jan 11, 2022. She called me to ask about the year and engine size. This threw me off because the service person was asking her for engine size that he could have easily looked up from the year and model of the car. After a few minutes, my wife called back to say that the price for a new battery and oil change is $330 plus tax. I reluctantly said yes. About an hour later, the wife calls back with the service person on the line. A female employee told me all the additional findings that my car requires. I was excited to hear what lies she was going to spew. This person listed brake flush, fuel injection service, air filter, and cabin filter. I was very upset because all the things she listed were already done at my Kia dealer on different services schedule (Never cheap out on servicing this car with the dealer). The brake flush was one of the services I did recently with brakes pads and rotors. I immediately shot the employee down and told her that they want to rip my wife off. This is a brand new car that has never missed a service with the dealer. How was Canadian tire able to know that my car require these added services which by the way was going to cost additional $900+ in addition to the $373 for the battery and oil change is beyond me. My poor wife was almost falling for the BS. In my rage I had to call Kia to confirm that I had brake flush and brakes done in Sept 2021. I told Kia that I need to book an appointment, and that I was having an oil and battery done today. Kia told me to keep my receipt and that my next service was going to be for an oil change. Essentially, I was told that there is no need to book the appointment. This practice of taking advantage of unsuspecting customers need to stop. It was emergency that took her there today and we will not be returning to any Canadian tire for auto repairs.

I went to this location to have a nail removed from my brand new winter tire. the employee told me he could not repair the tire and that I would need to buy to new tires for over $500. The nail was in the tread not the side wall, he gave ne some lame story about a patch not being flat. I took my car to a tire Store and they repair the tire for $20 with no problem. I'm guessing you need to be a male customer to not be taken advantage of at this location. I will never shop here or bring my vehicle here again. I will also be sure to share my experience with all my friends, male and female.

I spent more than 3500$ at this store over the span of year and half only to realize that the other stores offer the same, if not better services for 1/3 of the price. Even if you bring in a brand new car for service, these guys will come up with some fault in it and charge you an arm and a leg. Quality? Nope. At the very best their services could be called average at best. You can see how much they care about their customer service by looking at the review section. They have a copy paste answer ready to go. Do yourself a favour and research before going here. People don’t take their time to leave a review because they are bored at home.

Worst customer service I have ever received from a Canadian Tire. The lady with a scarf on head at return counter doesn’t have the manners and patience to hear from the customer. She was so rude. Surprisingly she was assigned to work in ‘customer care’ section. What a joke! Please arrange a basic customer care lessons for her. At least someone tell her the meaning of customer care. I don’t mind to drive 3-4 km extra to another canadian tire store in order to avoid this kind of service. Also, sending an email to Corporate Customer Relations regarding this.

Then after I went to complain about this to store manager and he said same thing without any apologies …. But I cannot find right size of helmet ….price of helmet You cannot search in end caps. Staff don't seem to care to clean up the messy aisles…behaviour of manager is very dissatisfied he is busy in his smoke to finish cigarette…even he doesn’t care about kids…..and smoking continuously.

Today my mother and father were so disturbed by the treatment they received today. She was abruptly stopped before entering the store due to a no-backpack policy.  Not only that, they were further approached in the aisle about opening a box with a heater inside. The treatment they received from your staff is appalling. My mother has shopped there for many many years, and most importantly, she is a God-fearing woman and has never wanted nor needed to steal anything. You have ruined my parent’s day, lost a loyal customer and left a bad taste in our mouths.. Thank you.

Worst CT store in the area! Especially customer Service, I bought an item from this store on January 28th and I now (Feb 08th) discovered that the price on that reduced by $40+ Tax. So, I went to claim the refund of the price difference based on ''Price Guarantee Policy of the CT'' but I was refused saying it's valid only within 7 days whereas every other CT stores have 30 days price guarantee policy. Basically, although the store is named CT but they are just making their own policy which is even worse than the policy of a small grocery store around the corner.

I used their auto service for the first time & definitely the last time. I went to install new tires which i bought. First off i noticed the mechanic was all the time on the phone - most likely a personal call and even in front of his supervisor. He could not fine the lock nut (and so i have to come back and it was were it was supposed to be). When the job was done i took the car and luckily i asked if he returned the lock nut back and to my surprise he forgot to do so. He apologized but this type of service is not acceptable. I wonder if these technicians are certified at all - i doubt.
