Stopped by their watch boutique to get an old and very sentimental watch looked at as a piece of its leather strap/buckle had come off and I wanted to see if it could be repaired instead of having to change the entire strap. Shawn P. was in the store and immediately provided a kind welcome, offered to have a look at the watch, and went straight away to see if he had the correct parts to repair it (instead of pushing to replace it). Shawn ended up getting it repaired quickly with a lot of professionalism and patience. Great service when I purchased a $2500 ring. However, 9 months later when a mother of pearl fell out, I contacted Mariani only to be told I needed to take the ring to Birks to be fixed. While Birks used their discretion and stood behind their product, they said in 33 years, they had never heard of a jewellery store not taking care of a product they sell -- despite which brand. Thoroughly disappointed that Mariani didn't provide me with the customer service expected when selling high end jewellery. I won't be back.

I recently had a stroke. A friend of mine purchased a watch for me so that I can always tell my heart rate and my blood pressure. I needed to get it sized, and I brought it into this location. Ruben M was the sales consultant who took the time and was very patient with me because the stroke has left my ability to speak pretty screwy. He took the time to help me get just right and didn't rush me when I was trying to speak which can take a minute or two longer than normal. I appreciate that respect and the time and effort he put in. I definitely recommend this location.

Purchased my Omega Speedmaster pro from Ruben, I walked into this high end store dressed like a total bum and Ruben treated me like a VIP client right out of the gate which to me is the mark of a truly great salesperson. We were there the other day looking for a special gift for my mother in law. We asked the associate if they had any of this particular item. She went to the back and started talking to the other associate and started to laugh. After 5 minutes or so she came back out and ignored us! This is the worst customer service experience I've encountered in a long time. I was with my daughter and she didn't understand why someone would be rude to us and we were the only people in the store. We will never shop here again!

Awful experience. I bought a watch from there awhile ago and when I bought it they told me when I registered the watch with them it would include lifetime battery replacement free of charge. Common in a lot of high end stores.. I went in 2 years ago and had absolutely no problem. But yesterday when I went in to get the battery replaced the salesman told me “ it would be $110 ( but he would help me and make it $80) because he needed to check the hardware and gaskets”. I explained that I didn’t need a check and just wanted to change the battery and that if he could check my account he’d see that it was covered. He laughed and said that nothing was “ lifetime” and didn’t care to check. He explained that he didn’t want to be “ Liable if the watch broke” which made no sense since I’d be charged to fix it anyways. Must be under new management perhaps and only care to sell you something but don’t care as soon as you walk out. I took my watch to another store. They changed my battery with compliments while I waited with a smile. What a difference in management.
