This is tertiary health institution where other primary health institutions normally bring their cases for an extensive medical solution and researches. This institution has MRI, magnetic Resonance Machine that does a better scan for patients, CT-scan also that complement the MRI. Also the institution has one of the modern dental facilities in Nigeria, that is why many primary health care centres always resort back to LTH Ogbomoso for a better care for their patients.

The hospital is located along along ilorin road in ogbomoso and it's also known as general. Not general hospital. Just general.. the hospital has a emergency canter but I wouldn't guarantee you take someone there for extremely emergency situation.. maybe because it's run by government, they are a little bit slack and short on staff to my knowledge that is.. their doctors are competent in all aspects. From eye clinic to GOPD all the way to physiotherapy and pharmacy amongst many other departments.. it has an amazing structure and the thing I love about this hospital it that wheel chair accessibility it being made easy and comfortable.. they save lives which I think is the most important thing so its okay..

This is the teaching hospital for medical students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology. The hospital was constructed during the governorship administration of Prince Alao Akala. The hospital is fully equipped with the latest equipment and they have various facilities to cater for different medical needs.

It needs quite some upgrades to meet up with a standard teaching hospital.
