Its a beautiful place to unwind. Amazing staff, very courteous, the pool side DJ made my evening awesome with his amazing array of soul music and blues. I didnt find the catfish of 8,000 so tasty. I guess that was influenced by the approximately 1hr it took to come. The rooms are lovely with an exceptional manager who is all for making you feel comfortable

I quite enjoyed my stay at this hotel except for a few things. The rooms were neat and the sheets were changed (this part might seem like a normal thing but trust me, so many hotels don't change your sheets). Front desk staff were courteous. ✅ Location is fantastic considering the security of the area ✅ Environment was neat and tidy ✅ Breakfast options were limited and kitchen staff attitude definitely wasn't good ❌

I'm rating my stay a 3 star because of their food quality to be honest, I had a peaceful stay, the sheets were very clean and smelt nice. The staff are respectful while doing their job. I paid 18,500 for a classic room and it comes with breakfast but then I didn't enjoy the Egg Omelette neither did I enjoy the Egg Sauce a night before 😑 these are simple recipes that even a child can make, so I'm surprised the chef couldn't prepare a tasty egg sauce or egg Omelette

The environment is very nice and conducive with air conditioners, light and water working perfectly. However, the receptionists should put on some smile while receiving a guest. There's also need to fix the elevator as it was stressful to use the stairs up to the 5th floor

Noisy politution & vibration from music @ the pool party that made sleep or nightrest impossible in the room. Mosquito bites at night. Get ur sheltox. The presidential Suites plus had only one small towel , not adequate. Staff response to phone calls and over priced alcoholic beverages, buy yours outside before check ✅.

I really enjoyed my stay there, starting from the exterior to the interior of the building, the architectural designs are amazing, a secured hotel with an elevator which provides an easy non stressful way to the passage leading to your room, affordable room prices and the services are top notch with friendly staffs, the room was spacious, very neat and every facility (AC, Fridge, water heater etc) worked to perfection. I was very pleased with the spacious bathroom, mouth watery meals and delicious cuisine. I will recommend this hotel to anyone looking for where to lodge in Umuahia.

The hotel and the rooms are very clean. The environment is serene and the location is idea if you for place to rest from the crazy of work. The food is good but their complimentary breakfast is laughable or below my expectation what a breakfast should be. It is not also a buffet but you're given 2 or 3 options to choose and the quantity serve is very small. Overall, my experience in Rixos continental resort is awesome.

The Outdoor bar is a great place to hangout with friends on a weekend. The barbecue fish is to kill for, with a chilled bottle of drink you will come back again with friends. For a team bonding event, it is an ideal place too. I will recommend it for anyone visiting the town.

Well, visited the bar which is in a serene environment with cool music in the background. Menu wasn't available, one of the waitresses said they were sent for reprinting. It's quite affordable too

This is a hotel located in a serene environment in the city of Umuahia. It's facilities are topnotch. There is an elevator to ease your movement across the floors. Also, the entrance door is automatic, with sensors that notice when you want to enter and open for you. The rooms are exquisite. It was a nice experience at Rixos.

Please do not come to this hotel if you want any iota of rest, peaceful stay or courtesy. Avoid it when they decide to have their pool party without consideration for the guests who have paid for rooms and legally deserve peace and quiet. Poorly trained staff.

PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW! The staff was not friendly nor accommodating. Not one single smile was spent on us. The waitress in the restaurant moved with no urgency and with lack of care for her job. This is not my first trip to Nigeria. I am aware of the struggles and hardships that are happening you. But as a business owner, I would fire everyone. EVERYONE. This hotels staff lack training and simple courtesy that should come free of charge. My husband and I were not the only ones lodging here. We had 2 rooms at 50,000 each. I’ve stayed at cheaper hotels and received better service by far. DO NOT STAY HERE IF THESE THINGS ARE IMPORTANT TO YOU. (Sidenote) My husband wanted to write this review, as he is from this town as was very disappointed and embarrassed at the way we were treated. As angry as he was, I begged him to allow me to write it instead. This hotel should be forever grateful that I didn’t allow him to write it.

I was literally harassed by the security at the hall way. He was rude and as a lady I felt unsafe. Staff need to be properly trained on delivering good service from the front desk to the other parts.
