First thing you got be lucky to get a parking spot in this restaurant if its weekend. Second thing you have to wait in the queue atleast 20mins to get your table. Once you got table and order your food. It will take atleast 30mins to get your food on your table. Now coming to the ambience, yes it is great. They made effort to put each and every segment of this restaurant interior. Great effort. Food was great too, only thing is portion is very less considering the price. Experienced all these scenarios in a busy weekend dinner. Other than that a this is a good restaurant to hang out with your family and friends.

5 out of 5 for a pure vegetarian food. Amazing taste and perfect veg food. Ambience is too good in dhaba style. Lot of options with paneer. Must try

I love dhabas and punjabi restaurants. It is not because of the food but also the ambience service along with their authentic menu. Pind is not an exception my 7 month old baby even enjoyed their warm reception. We ordered mutter phulav, roti, veg handi, gol gappe etc. Each of them tasted the best and we loved all those dishes. Try if you punjabi cuisine.

It was a team party & we chose it to be inclusive to our vegetarian & Jain colleagues. Valet parking available. Lift and common areas quite grimy, needs a scrub. Inside ambience was quite good. The best part was the food. The buffet was served at the table & I just loved it because we could happily talk while the food kept coming. Being a non vegetarian I did not feel anything lacking in terms of taste & variety. Topped up by amazing & very responsive service. It was a good experience & I may surely bring my family one day.

To begin with, The starter : malai paneer tikka The paneer wasn't even grilled a bit. Main dish: Mushroom do pyaaza was not bad Ordered it with bread basket. Dessert: Ice cream with gulab jamun. The photo is attached. One the worst gulab jamun i have ever tried. The size was literally too small to even taste the gulab jamun. The ice cream was so frozen to the core that we were unable to take a scoop out of it. The spoon was so sticky and wasn't washed properly. I have previously ordered dishes from them via swiggy. But the dine in experience was really bad.

PIND has very good Punjabi flavors, and the unlimited buffet is amazing! They have awesome drinks, starters, and the food overall is very good. I definitely recommend visiting the restaurant if you are ever in the area.

The best place for pure veg Punjabi food without a doubt. Paneer is a signature dish here. Lassi was amazing and so was palak cheese roll. Mains were great too. Palak paneer wasn't having the flavors atleast for me.

Unnecessary hyped up place for veg food. Clostrophobic seating arrangements, highly crowded, dim lighting and large number of servers continuously dancing all over the place. This place is one of the most chaotic restaurant in chennai. Too much hyped mayb for decor. Food is really pathetic too. Quantity is nothing I compared to the price. The rotis are like papad. Cheese balls had no cheese in them. We waited for 20min for a table. And along with us 2 bother families were waiting. When we went inside 3 tables were empty, where as only 2 people had left the restaurant. I don't understand why they unessary Make people wait when the tables inside are empty. Families of 7 (4adults and 3 kids) are made to sit at the table of 4. Literally all the tables were over crowded. The servers were not allowing family of 7 to sit on the bigger table when the entire big sitting area was empty, and it was literally closing time (around 10) Don't understand why this restaurant has created such a hype when the food is really mediocre and service is pathetic. Servers are confused and all over the place. We visited the fusion restaurant earlier. It was nice, and had hardly any one there. Food was food too (it was non veg) but this Pind one really did not at all meet expectations

Had an amazing experience, this is such a vibe place filled with quirky stuff. Starting from waiting area to seating, to cutlery to the billing counter everything is quirky and thematic. Amazing food we tried their hot and sour chicken soup🐔 🍲 , tandoori chicken 🍗 platter and butter naan with their special Punjabi curry

This was my first and probably the last visit to pind. Order: Buffet Pax: 11 PPC: 800 Listing out why this was probably my first & last visit 👇 1. The servers were rude in serving and every ordered dish took almost 10-12 min to be severed 2. After 2 rounds of starters, the taste deteriorated and few dishes were declared out of stock 3. Very limited items on the buffet menu though the price is on par the Barbeque Chains 4. Congested spot and not suitable for more than 8 person 5. Bill was prepared for 13 members though we were only 11 ( got it corrected as soon as we noticed) 6. There was no difference in price of veg and non veg. Each costed 749+ Taxes 7. We also encountered an insect (cockroach) around our table while dining.

Excellent vegetarian food. Delicious Punjabi and north Indian veg food. It's an awesome restaurant where you can enjoy all type of veg Punjabi and north Indian delicious food. We had lunch here, and both the Punjabi Thali and the Pathiyala Thali were delicious. There is an additional charge for additional dishes. The price of the dish is reasonable. Customer service is excellent. The tables are very clean and spacious. All hygienic protocols are followed by waiters during service. We will definitely visit again with friends.

Was in for a Lunch Buffet with family. The menu is the same as it was all these years. Taste was good and no complaints there. However the dining experience was sub par. We were seated on a glass top table with a void where pulses and rice was stored as part of ambience. There were roaches in this space. Only saving grace was that the baby roaches were trapped there till the time I was seated, didn't want to jump my parents after half the buffet had been served. The service staff had no clue how to serve except for a young guy who knew what he was doing. The staff expected the entire table to pass each other's plates and hold it up to her, when refilling. Initial serving of starters were served randomly and often overlapped over each other. No body bothered checking what we needed for quite a while between starters and the main course. The price printed on the menu was wrong, only saving grace is that we were informed as soon as we were seated. Valet parking was clumsy and I was halfway parked when the guy turned up. The aircon was not even halfway there, most of us were sweating on a hot afternoon. Go here with a group who won't expect everything to be in place except for the food. Do not visit with family or colleagues when you would expect a neat service and pleasant experience.

I feel bad that i did not visit this place before today. It was a really good experience and the food reminded me of my time in Delhi. I would not hesitate to visit this place again and try more from the menu.

The picture depicts the amount of oil taken from the gravy which we ordered online. Taste is also below par. I don’t understand how can they prepare such unsafe food. Highly advise people not to have food here.

A good venue for a nice meal. Food was delicious. The service was prompt and the staff were pleasant. There was a queue and had to wait to get a seat. Overall the experience is worth it.

A good Vegetarian hotel which can complete with the non-vegetarian ones in the city. Great for team dinners. Service is the best I've seen. All the dishes were served hot and quick. A bit high on the price, but definitely worth a try.

Doesn’t live upto the hype. It’s actually more like an average place when it comes to enjoying Punjabi or the North Indian food.

Pind is one of my most favourite when it comes to pure veg North Indian restaurant in Chennai. It just not hold delicious food but also entire staff, ambiance is so amazing. Staffs of pind is soo amazing and there is least waiting time, they treat every order on priority. I remember celebrating my didi’s birthday in pind and pind staff never stops to surprise. They offered free drinks, free panipuri and played birthday song. Food is yummiest food I had in Chennai. Pind was one of the best part when it comes to food in my Chennai journey. PIND WILL BE MISSED !! ❤️

Great food, cozy ambience. Had a feeling of a modern dhaba type. There Hariyali Paneer and Chilli Paneer were the Star of the Starters, Mushroom Chilli was good though. Paneer Patiala was good with the Garlic Naan. Also had the masala pappad which was average.

I went to PIND for dinner with a friend and the moment I stepped in, the ambience of the restaurant gave me the vibe that the culinary experience was gonna be special. My friend was a regular customer at PIND, so he suggested that we go with the dinner buffet & It was absolutely worth it 😍! Except for one starter, every other dish that was served was perfection ❤️. The buffet menu had a wide variety of flavours that would satisfy all types of foodies. I'm a non-veg eater, but the food at PIND blew me away with their scrumptious veg foods & made me realise that there are extremely satisfying food on the veg side 😍! The service was on-point & the dessert, a fusion of vanilla ice cream with carrot halwa & gulab jamun was Heavenly ❤️!

Had a good time with friends, food was good overall. Lassi and kulcha was exceptional as expected.. avoid the sizzlers no matter what, it was very average and tasted cold..

Ambience is good Service is good Food is ok Extremely crowded in the weekend It's better to go on a weekday to have a peaceful meal.

  • 4/5 Aakaash G. 1 year ago on Google
Excellent starters. Decent main course. Over crowded always and 4 star because the service is poor, the kitchen is always over strained and there is no management. The servers are very brash and the parking set up is badly organised. Plus the lift doesn't work to the 2nd floor, so beware of taking elders there.

One of the best place in South Chennai for exploring North Indian food, so many varieties to choose from

  • 5/5 Ess K. 2 years ago on Google
Authentic Punjabi food. They serve pure veg. For non-veg Bhatinda Express will be the place which is just above Pind. Draws good crowd over the weekends. Better to book a table to avoid waiting. Prices are reasonable. Better to go for their sit in buffet if you want to try several varieties. The only downside is they take too much time to serve the food and you need to keep asking for re- serves. If you don't mind that, you will not be disappointed.
