Dr. Conrad C Caldwell is hands down the worst doctor I have ever come across in my entire life. I took my 12 month baby into SSM Healthplex East this morning 06/03/2021 around 8:53 am. She is experiencing a terrible cough, wheezing, colored music, fever, and short of breath. Our check in was quick, and easy, our nurse took us right back to our room. She was very pleasant to speak with. She listened to all of my concerns about my baby. Dr. Caldwell finally came in. I told him what has been going on, the medications she has had in the last 24 hours, and that I gave her a breathing treatment with albuterol the night before since she was wheezing. My baby was resting on my chest. He took one look at her, and said she looked perfect. He listened to her lungs through her back for a few seconds. Again she is perfect,l. He said im going to send X-ray in to scan her chest but I don't expect there to be anything. Not even 10 minutes later the nurse comes back with discharge papers, and says we are good to go. I explained the doctor had not come to go over the X-ray results, and that I want a respiratory panel done. She looked confused why the doctor had not come back to speak with me. She went to let him know I want the panel done. She comes back quickly to tell me he said no he is not ordering the panel because there is nothing wrong with her. I will not go into detail what my nurse had to say about him, but everyone in that hospital knew he was wrong. Anyone that was around her could hear her wheezing, and tight cough. I was bawling my eyes out packing up our things to leave because I can not even speak for my I'll baby. I can not be her advocate for her health. I call her pediatrician and explain what has happened. We go there for a appointment, and they examined her. Dr. Caldwell did not even look in her ears, nose, or mouth. The pediatrician did some tests, and she tested positive for RSV. Very serious virus for babies. I will never return to another SSM St Anthony Hospital. I have never felt so powerless. I feel like he is abusing his authority. If a mother, or any patient is requesting a test done it should be done, I will fight until I can fight no more. This man should not be responsible for other humans lives.

I had an absolutely traumatic experience at this hospital’s day surgery center. I came in for my first surgery a month or so prior and all went well, as expected. I then came in for a procedure on my other hand, the plan was for IV sedation, just like last time. I was supposed to be put out during the procedure, and remember little. When we got to the OR they changed the procedure without my consent and did not put me out. Instead they left me awake while they prepped me. I kept waiting to be put out as promised but it never happened. I felt most of the procedure, including the sutures. I remember it all. The anesthesiologist kept saying we were trying to keep me awake to avoid recovery, and get me out of there quicker. They even made me crawl from the operating bed to the gurney unassisted. I heard him bragging that he used half the medication he was supposed to. They then wheeled me out put some crackers on my chest. And sent me back to pre-op instead of recovery. This was not the plan. I was miserable and whatever he gave me to keep me more awake reacted badly, and I felt miserable. The doctor did not even come in to talk to me, the nurse had to try to hunt them down. It makes me scared to ever have another surgery. It was traumatic to go through that for no good reason, if they had told me what would happen I would never have gone there. The pre-op nurse was wonderful though, the only bright spot in the place.I would say beware this place!

Rude doctors and the most low-level care I have ever encountered especially being treated by all the major hospitals in Oklahoma at some point in time from Mercy to Integris to St Anthony they are by far the lowest in bedside manner and competency. I had to visit there twice myself for a diagnosis and then what was referred to two different specialty doctors because they just didn't know. Then neither one of those specialty doctors could figure it out either. They waste your time and money. From the triage nurse that was rude and rushed me told me to hurry up and get in the bed because she had to go back out into the waiting room to the nurse that came in and drew blood out of both arms because she couldn't find the vein on two different nights both arms the skill set is completely low and inept. To the doctor Dr Kaya is very rude and probably racist I was asking her about a medication for my mother and trying to get some clarification and she blurted out "don't talk to me like that" when I'm asking her a question for clarification I was not rude nor loud but because I said no no I need to know if this was the correct dosage she wanted to get smart and say don't talk to me like that.. these are the worst and rudest medical so-called professionals I have ever encountered in life I will never use Saint Anthony Healthcare again I'd rather go to Mercy or Integris honestly. After they get there degrees and their licenses I feel like they should still be monitored because they're out here being rude giving incorrect information and being flat unprofessional. The worst rude doctors, triage and nurses in the whole state of Oklahoma do not go to St anthony. Judging by all the other low reviews this hospital is and has been horrible a very long time and upper management needs to take a look at this it's poor customer service and horrible care. Or they possibly don't care.

I was at this facility on Saturday, March 19, 2022. My experience was absolutely terrible! The security guard was NOT friendly nor was he welcoming! He was very short and insensitive! My sisters brought me in and wanted to stay with me, but the guard advised us only one could stay so my sister said out loud “we’ll just switch on and off” the guard then advised due to covid that wasn’t allowed, once you’re in you can’t return. That would’ve been fine, but just sitting there we saw people of the opposite race come and go as they pleased, and they were also allowed to have multiple people sit with them and go back with them. Fast-forward to the triage nurse calling me back, I understand this is a fast pace high stress environment, but she was not empathetic! Of course, I had on a mask, and she wanted to remove my mask with her bare hands that weren’t covered with gloves to take my temperature! I immediately reached for my own mask and allowed her to insert the thermometer. She then takes my blood pressure and once the machine beeped, she rips the cuff off almost taking my arm with her! She then advises she want me to do a pregnancy test, okay fine! She leads my sister and I out the door not saying where the restrooms are and what needs to be done next. My sister then asks, “okay where’s the RR and where do we need to leave the cup?” All she does is points to the Restroom and says, “just hold on to the cup” Wait…what? You want me to hold pee in the waiting room? I do what I am told, the whole time I’m feeling uncomfortable and unwanted! Once we’re back in the waiting room, my sister decides to confront the guard and simply ask, “why others were able to do the things we couldn’t do?” he rudely explained that each of them had a reason why that needed to be so. It quickly got escalated due to him cutting us off and not really caring about our thoughts and feelings! At this point I’m ready to leave because I’m in pain, upset and VERY uncomfortable! I will NOT allow them to treat me, so I leave! This was the worst experience I’ve ever had a hospital! Training is definitely needed, on how to create a safe and welcoming environment, how to show compassion and care, and how to be equal across the board!

Today I went to the ER throwing up. I have damage to the nerves in my intestines and throat. I have been to the ER over it probably 50 times and drs think it’s bc of my nerves as I suffer from complex ptsd. I also have panic attacks and uncontrollable vomiting. I have been here several times for some good , some bad experiences but today trumped all. I had the displeasure of dealing with the 2 most hateful nurses ever. When I told them I was having a panic attack they just didn’t understand what I was going through she said, yeah you’re right bc I don’t throw up like that. Then I was told while I’m laying dry heaving unable to stand, cramps all around she tells me if I don’t like the care go somewhere else. Finally got so hateful my brother just came right out and asked if they were all having a bad day or what? I will never go here again even if I were dying and I’ll never take a family member here. St Anthony’s supposedly deals with the mental issues. Well, they sure didn’t act like it they shouldn’t have that job. When I get their names I’ll come back here and post it. Don’t go here, it’s a terrible experience,especially if you’re sick

I wish I could give them a ZERO. I was seen for a kidney stone while pregnant. They couldn't get a fetal heartbeat and just said their Doppler must be on the fritz. Could tell I was dehydrated and vomiting, but refused to let me have any water or ice chips. They only wanted to inject me with Morphin. When asking if it was safe to have not only one but TWO doses, they respond with; they did it while they were pregnant and their baby is just fine. Horrible, horrible, horrible.

I had been there before, I think in December of 2020. I was taken there in a Ambulance. I have this horrible sounding cough that sounded like a bull moose in the forest. And I couldn’t stop coughing, I was running out of air. It had been having ice storms and snow storms. They got to my apartment at 6pm, I didn’t get released until midnight. One of the finest gentleman’s in the world came and got me. It took him 1 hour to get ice and snow off his beautiful car. I also had a UTI infection. Ken and I got back to our separate apartments at 2pm. That emergency hospital treated me wonderful and so did my neighbor.

The worse hospital I have ever been to. Doctor was very unprofessional. He did not treat me for my ear infection/piercing infection. I went to another hospital right after being seen here and they gave me *looks of disgusts* after telling them my experience from here. take my advice. go somewhere else! he just gave me antibiotics for my piercing infection. did not take out the piercings and gave me discharge papers. other hospital gave me medication for an ear infection and took out the piercings he did not remove. the doctor told me “this is what I do for a living. what do you do for a living?” In the rudest tone. disgusting.

Not impressed at all compared to the Lee office. I came today with my best friend who chipped her shoulder bone on a fall. Her appointment was at 10:20 am, we are now almost an hour past her appointment time and all they can say at the desk is the doctor is running behind 15 minutes. It's been done past 15 minutes. No apology, no I'm sorry for the inconvenience. But if a patient is late 15 minutes you basically get banned from coming again and still get charged an office visit fee. What ever happened to the courtesy of maintaining appointments on time? People have better things to do to wait an hour or more past their appointment time. Y'all need to step up. Y'all need to tell patients that you're sorry and will do your best to get to them and in and out in a timely manor. That's bad business and makes people not want to come. Boss up and take the responsibilities and tell patients there's a long wait instead of just sitting here wondering when they'll see the doctor. I'd give zero stars if I could. No wonder y'all have a low rating. That's bad service.

I brought my 4 year old here last night, and the staff was amazing. Everyone was so kind to her from the moment we walked into the door. We didn’t have to wait around forever, and we left with answers.

Worst staff. So unprofessional. Hanging up on someone when they needed assistance. Can’t believe you people are like this. You are healthcare workers. Someone was in need and you completely acted like they were worth nothing. Don’t even know how some of these people got through medical school. Wouldn’t even greet themselves to their patients. Absolutely disgraceful. As someone with long lines of medical workers in their family, this is sick and gross. I hope this establishment gets shut down.
