My husband and I decided to support local and ventured to the gayborhood and sadly were super disappointed. The owner himself waited on us during our visit and was very unfriendly didn’t engage with us as we attempted small talk and acted like it was an inconvenience for us to ask about the “bistro” The food was less than sub par. We ordered the pasta bake special. The pasta was dry as dry could be tasted like noodles and cheap hot dogs with some other weird sausage in it. it was topped with mini pretzel bites that were rock hard like hockey pucks and ketchup. My husband got the soup of the day and the noodles were pure mush and it tasted like the owner just dumped cans of beans and tomatoes in the soup no real flavor or seasonings. We ordered carrot cake to finish out our meal that was the driest carrot cake I have ever had in time. The owner was more concerned with drinking on the job then taking care of customers. Told us he was a full time pharmacist and gave that up to open the bistro I think he should keep his pharmacist job unfortunately. The rainbow bistro could use some major improvements in service and quality.

Lmao this fool. He is just another prissy gay man that can’t take criticism and isn’t mean for this buissness. YOU OPEN A RESTAURANT EXPECT TO BE IN HARD TIMES FOR MINIMUM 3 YEARS. The food is trash, very little vs what you pay. Guess that’s the cost of gayflation. Only caters to a minority group that just so happens to be the majority that’s broke lmao. A pathetic amout of gf/vegan options—2/3 sides and a soup is NOT enough but I guess you’ll just cry about it won’t you Burl? He’s on the strip that has a lot of other better options and they’re open late longer—meanwhile this turd closes at 11 and mostly caters to a senior group home at lunch. absolute clown and I can’t wait for the pitty posts and more drama from this prissy loser.

Let me tell you. I don't give five star reviews. I did this afternoon. The reuben I had was delish. Also, they have a curry dipping sauce that's amazing. Tastes like Fall. So good. Friendly staff, too. Will be going back.

Loved loved loved. We went to rainbow bistro today for lunch after hearing about their grand opening and it was everything I wanted it to be. Cozy, welcoming and just a great atmosphere. If you're looking for something different and a place to enjoy a meal then come here. The staff was really passionate about what they were doing, it really just felt like you were walking into a friend's house for lunch.

The better half and I stopped in and had carrot cake and coffee today. The space has a nice welcoming vibe and we enjoyed our visit. We weren't able to stop back by for lunch, but we will definitely be coming back. Nice to have this in the neighborhood!

We stopped for dinner at this new place in the Gayborhood. I had the Size Queen (foot-long with sauerkraut and onions). Great food! The prickly pear tea was great, the pop-tart black forest cake was a lovely, original twist on a German classic. Really impressed, and we WILL be back! Best of all, open to LGBTQAI+ folks under 18!

Third time eating here last time eating here gave it the 1 2 3 strikes your out. It's a shame I really want this place to do well. The service great the atmosphere awesome especially the old comics hanging over the windows. The food on the other hand just not my liking had the Ruben, German chocolate cake and a can of soda with a side of potato salad. $24 bucks plus Tip. 12.50 for the Ruben great price comes with 1 side I got potato salad. Ruben was just ok had a odd taste as if it had bbq sauce mixed in. Just was not for me the potato salad way to much vinegar even for German potato salad. Had a can of DP for $2.50 thats a joke for real. Had a piece of German chocolate cake $5.50. So disappointing it was super dry amd definitely old. I love German chocolate cake but this one faild.

I really enjoy the food here, their Sloppy Seconds is my absolute favorite. The vibes are all positive, I really enjoy the German inspirations behind some of the dishes as someone who has lived in Germany.
