Omg. There are no words. This is tranquility nestled into a lull between Oklahoma City proper, and Yukon. Pedestrian park with a lovely view of the sunset, so many geese, birds, and a playground. The viewing area is incredible

We took our family to the Park Amphitheater & we are glad we did. The area was clean, well kept, and family friendly. The landscaping was beautiful as well. We were able to look at the stunning sunflowers up close...well, as close as the bees wanted us to get. I added some photos of them for you to see. Great experience! Highly recommend!

Nice park. Pretty good layout. Walking trail is plenty wide. I wish the bathrooms weren't Port a potties that were beyond gross

I like to park okay. It only has one play area and it is geared for older children, but my toddler does play here. Oklahoma City Parks and recreation does not do a very good job keeping the place clean. I will warn you to make sure that your child and yourself wear shoes. There is a lot of glass in other broken objects in the play area and the parking lot. There is a lot of traction and I would just ask if everybody do their part and pick up as they come to help out and keep it safe for children. There are plenty of places to have a picnic here. And there is a place to fish and there is a sport complex. There is a nice walking trail and a nice pond with fishing..

Beautiful park! It has a nice walking path with a little section that goes over the lake that explains wetland plants and animals. The playground is massive and has a great variety of equipment for children of various ages so everyone can play.

I really enjoyed this park! It's peaceful and has nice paved walking paths around the small lake including a boardwalk bit. I noticed there's also a playground, fields to play, and places to picnic. I think you can fish with a license and bike there as well.

Large childrens play area. Clean. Well maintained. Beautiful setting with Lake Overholser just over the hill. The kids had a great time playing on the equipment. We will definitely be back.

Awesome place for a quiet picnic. Clean covered picnic tables by the water. Nice park for the kids to play at. Never been inside of the Amphitheater, but I will take a look around next time we go for a picnic and to play at the park. Clean nice walking/running trail around the water, bridges are closed, but I do believe the trail goes all the way around the pond.

Four good size tables, plenty of room for decorations and extra tables and chairs. Good location with pretty view of pond and playground is nearby. Only negative about this space was that is was dirty and needed a good sweeping, bleaching, and table/benches wiped down.

great place to take the kids or have a picnic. even in a hot day there's usually a cool breeze of the lake, definitely worth the visit

It's right down the street from our home and a nice safe place for our children to practice! They love to go and watch other skaters/ athletes and hone there own skills at the same time!

  • 4/5 Pamela N. 6 months ago on Google
Very clean..but children freaking at sight of lots of spider webs. Spiders were tiny and non poisonous. Tis the spooky season. Lol. Play area in good, stable condition. Could use more swings and an area for tiny children play on without fear of being ran over by older children.

Graphics that explains the route 66 .Clarifies the route with prime spots to look at.Small Ampitheater ,good for childrens

  • 4/5 Ami M. 3 years ago on Google
Very nice place. We weren't actually under the Ampitheater, but were walking past to the wetlands area. The only recommendation would be better garbage cans because it looked like someone had a party the previous day and threw all of the trash away, but animals got into the trash and scattered it all around the trash bin area.

This park is very beautiful. A friend hosted her graduation party there and it was the perfect spot.

  • 3/5 L A. 3 years ago on Google
It could be sooooo much nice with periodic maintainace. It was a WOW park for the first couple years. The wood parhways over the water are rotten and unsafe and the many signs along the nature water trail that are full of info are white squares now that can not be read at all. People visuting our state see the signs for the park along the hiway and arrive to disappointment. We are looking pretty sad and Tulsa is looking grand.

This is a great little park. It's a favorite fishing spot for the kiddos and is my go to spot for a quick break when riding around the lake!! The bathrooms are usually locked but they do have a couple Porta-Potties available 24/7.
