The building was falling apart. It rained while we were there and the ceiling started leaking and getting all our stuff wet. Most of the staff was very unfriendly except for one lady who apologized for the inconveniences. She was the only one we say the entire time after check-in. The food was good but served in our room due to the dining room and most of the downstairs being closed off. They acted as if we were an inconvenience. I wish they would have told us about the state of the place. They told us a movie was being filmed but not a word Abt the hole in the wall in our room, leaking ceilings, and the mold smell when it started raining. The bed broke a board when we sat on it. Not comfortable at all and very disappointing for the price. They did waive the price of the extra amenities we got due to the inconveniences. Update: it deleted my original review I guess when I tried to add the update so the above has been rewritten. They have since called me twice to offer a complimentary stay as well as $50 to change my review or $100 to delete it and claim to have address and made repairs. I have NOT been back. I have a baby and it's not possible, plus I don't want to waste my time, after seeing recent reviews dealing with the same stuff we did. I have not accepted either offer. I've seen some reviews that were good but this was our personal experience. I wouldn't recommend, nor do I ever plan to go back. I was really looking forward to a fun time celebrating our anniversary but it was extremely disappointing.

We found this place through Groupon and had an amazing time. The pace is decorated with such care, and the rooms feel like little time capsules to a bygone era. My boyfriend and I were served a complimentary bottle of champagne in the evening, and breakfast in bed in the morning. Plus, the jacuzzi same with bath salts and bubbles, and was so relaxing. Our biggest regret from our stay was that we didn't have dinner here-- although the close proximity to restaurants and bars were one of the things that made this place so attractive in the first place. Bottom line, if you are looking for a romantic getaway or an excursion for self-care around or in OKC, this is the place for you!

Friendly inn keepers, kitty cats that greet the guests, wonderful complimentary homemade breakfast food in the butler's pantry in the morning.

We have been to quite a few local B&Bs. This is not what you’ll expect. 😂 Our bedroom door didn’t close right and didn’t lock. This place needs a full repair. There’s a lot going on and I’m not sure it will be safe at some point. We had a lot of laughs at ruined expectations for a night out. It’s a funny memory in hindsight. Don’t come here expecting much service, a nice breakfast (saw some hard boiled eggs, muffins, yogurt), or a clean place.

We stayed here for only one night on our cross country road trip. It was such a beautiful room and the host was very accommodating when we arrived late at night. We woke up the next morning to a thunderstorm and felt very cozy during our stay.

Very disappointed. For the amount of money paid for this room you would think some effort would be made here for the guest. First we accidentally booked two rooms. Called twice about cancelling one and was promised a refund but never got it. Had to handle that during check in when we got there. We did get that handled. However it took 20 minutes after arriving to find anyone to check us in. There was no "front desk", all rooms downstairs like what im assuming was the dining room were closed off. The housekeeper has to find the manager to get us taken care of. After that initial check in I didn't see anyone who worked there the rest of the time. The room was cute and comfortable, I liked the Jacuzzi tub but the shower was way too small, even for me and I'm only 4'11. Also the toiletries in the shower were half used (gross, I didn't use them). The most disappointing part is that there was no breakfast? I checked at 7:45 and was there until 8:30 and the entire downstairs was still closed off, there was no hot meal available (I didn't even see a dining room) and not even the continental breakfast was available. It's a bed and breakfast, that should be half the cost of my room back. The website is very misleading and communication is non existent. The lawn is non kept up at all and the stairs on the back are not very safe. Overall would not return.

Three stars is slightly generous. We entered our room, basically a bedroom with a bathtub in the corner with a bathroom built in what seemed to be in an old closet. The bedding seemed very old and tattered. Furniture was shoved in the bay window area- way too much furniture for this size room. The bed shown in the picture of the room we picked from the online pics wound up to be a completely different bed. The worst part was the room was 83 degrees and no matter how we adjusted the thermostat, the room didn't cool. We had dinner in our room about 4 hours after we arrived and we mentioned to the sweet young waitress how hot we were and she replied that she noticed it was hot when she first brought our main course. She returned and said the owner may be up to check it. That never happened. We tried to call the front desk and the phone didn't work. The owner then informed us and said "oh, yes, we have been having problems with the air conditioner for this room for a couple months now." She told us there are two other rooms we could move to if we wished. We never got help moving our things, nor did they ever check to see if we were moved or if the new room was satisfactory. Further, we ordered the "honeymoon" package which consisted of a plastic heart basket with two bath sponges, two pumice bars, a two- pack of face masks, a bath bomb and a package of shower fizzies- the shower fizzies were meant to have 3 tablets (stated on the package), ours had 2 and the package had already been opened. The food was decent. We didn't even stay for the breakfast in bed that we paid was extra for. We feel the whole experience was WAY overpriced for what we received! I would give this place a miss. We will never return.

This place was a big disappointment. Do not stay here. Read the reviews below first as I wish I had done before booking my stay at this place. I had difficulty getting an answer to my questions about early check in (which will cost you $25 extra by the way and they will ask you if you can pay that by Venmo). I had difficulty getting anyone on the phone. No one greeted me when I arrived around 11:30 am on a Friday. Two of us spent several minutes walking around calling “hello” on the first and second floor and ringing the bell at what appeared to be the front desk. I eventually tracked down where the staff was by following the sound of voices. I was told that luggage could be left in the front room while I toured the city until the regular check in time – the same room I had just been calling and ringing the bell from for several minutes with no response, so I’m pretty sure that anyone could have walk off with my suitcase from if they had wanted to. I decided to cancel my stay after my arrival crashed all hopes I had of a comfortable stay at this establishment, and I requested a refund. I was told I could expect a call back about my request. That was five days ago and I am still waiting. I have called them to follow up on this request but, shocker, no one answered my call and I had to leave a voicemail. To say that this place lacks customer service is an understatement.

Absolutely beautiful. I was just out of the hospital with an 8 day stay. Lung drained. They went out of their way to make feel at home. The mattress was a cloud. Everything was gorgeous. Thank you for the great service!!!

I arrived at the venue to find no one around and the front desk boarded up. We could hear a tv and a voice in the background behind the closed doors of the sitting room though. Tried to call the property manager twice and messaged once through vrbo with no response. My friend found the direct line to the venue and got the housekeeper who came out from the back only to tell us she wasn't expecting guests and that they were all booked anyway. She calls the property manager and gets a hold of her immediately (when I had called twice with no response). After speaking to her for a bit she apologizes saying vrbo double booked the room and the only thing they could do was refund my money and that the property manager was working on that. She said we were welcome to stay in the sitting room area while we looked for other accommodation. The housekeeper was the only part of this experience that I would give 5 stars to. She was very kind to us. After an hour of searching we found other accommodation. I waited 4 days to check my account for the refund as vrbo says they can take up to 3 days to process. I didn't see money credited to my account so I again reached out to the property manager through message on vrbo. After a couple days she responded apologizing for the double booking and said she was looking into it. Six days after that I still hadn't seen a refund so I messaged her again. No response. It is now 21 days later and I am having to write the $192.35 I paid off as a loss. I do NOT recommend this venue or using vrbo to anyone!

We were glad to be accommodated at the very last minute for a one night stay. The common areas are beautifully decorated with antiques. The rooms are also decorated with antiques. The linens were disappointing but the bed was comfortable. The back stairs are scary. The breakfast was a meager continental style DIY affair with nowhere to sit. Perhaps this is due to Covid? Still better than most hotel rooms in this price range.

This place is absolutely beautiful, the staff was so friendly and helpful and location is perfect. There is a bunch of restaurants nearby (5-8 min walking distance) and I promise you can enjoy the walk in the neighborhood. Will come back next year!

It was exactly what my man and I were looking for to celebrate our one year together. Very cozy and Victorian. We stayed in the Hunter n Hound room. That California king is calling my name again already. We had such an amazing time. The chocolate covered strawberries were absolutely delicious! And if you get hungry for a midnight snack, they have a butlers closet you can get some yummies from. But the absolute best part of it all was when we were on the balcony having a smoke, and we got to meet the dog! She was let out to potty and I’m not quite sure if we were allowed to pet her but she was so very sweet and gave us a little dance when we introduced ourselves. We will most definitely be coming back. Thank you for an amazing night I will never forget. Home away home 🖤

Bumped my reservation for another guest terrible customer service. The inn keeper only cares about regular guest not making new customers. I highly discourage anyone from staying here.

This beautiful piece of history is incredibly preserved and was such a treat to stay in. It’s located about a mile from a building that has tons of cool new places to eat. Claudia, the innkeeper is mindful of phone and emails and was very quick to respond. We stayed in the Divine Providence room and the bed was soft, there was a mini fridge and microwave, and a huge jet tub. Everything was spotless! I highly recommend staying here, it was everything and more that I was hoping for.

Beautiful stay in the Divine Providence suite. 10/10 customer service. Get there at checkin and enjoy the jacuzzi tub. The extra chocolate strawberries and champagne make it a perfect evening. We will be back again! Tip: Check the closet!

Great place with amazing old treasures. The place was quiet even though full and we stayed in the Florence room which was amazing. Love old homes and romance this delivered both.

Booked late (8:30pm) and had no problems showing up 30 minutes later. It’s a charming historic property and Claudia was very welcoming. Felt very at home and enjoyed the pantry with snacks, drinks and breakfast.

We loved our stay. We stayed in the Florence Room and it was so peaceful and relaxing. We took a bath, the water was very hot. Our bed was super comfortable, and breakfast was delicious, many things to choose from, all homemade. Claudia was the sweetest host and we will definitely be staying here when we come to okc again.

Booked this place last minute for a getaway with my husband. It’s so beautiful. Loved the old history you step into when you enter the doors. We stayed in the divine providence room. Highly recommend, the jacuzzi tub was the best! For an old house the water was HOT and I soaked in that tub and loved every minute. The king size bed I want to take home and that mattress is like a cloud. Breakfast was help yourself in a little pantry area and I enjoyed the quiche. The staff was so nice to us! It’s very private and no one bothers you and that’s just want we wanted a night ALONE. If you like history and comfort definitely give this a try.

Claudia is the best host we've ever had in all of our stays. Location was A+. Cleaning was immaculate.

  • 5/5 Kimberly L. 10 months ago on Google
This in is run by the sweetest lady. She had her staff do a wonderful job, keeping the bed-and-breakfast, clean and beautiful. As soon as you walk in, it’s like you’ve stepped into the early 20th century. Every detail is immaculate. Our room looks like a honeymoon suite. It had a large king bed, a huge jacuzzi, and attention was paid to every detail. Since it was our 20th anniversary we had champagne and chocolate covered strawberries brought up. In the morning we didn’t want to leave! This was an experience that we will never forget, and we can’t wait to come back for more anniversaries in the future.

We stayed here for our anniversary. I ordered a package on top of the room specifically to have breakfast in bed. The breakfast is generally continental. We received everything else in our package except breakfast in bed as stated on their website. I was a little disappointed since that was the reason we chose to stay here. The hostess was very sweet and nice, but it seemed as if she needed some help herself. We were going to just get something from the continental, but there was no milk for the cereal, a few jelly filled croissants that were soggy, and some yogurt in the fridge. So we ended up spending more money to go eat breakfast instead of the breakfast in bed we had signed up for. The room was very nice, and the jacuzzi tub was massive. The rose petals we paid for in the package were thoughtfully placed. We enjoyed the spa items we also purchased as well as the chocolate covered strawberries and champagne. The bed was ridiculously comfortable!!! It was a nice quiet place and not too far from Downtown. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Had we had the breakfast in bed I could have given all 5 stars.

The smell is really bad in the main lobby area, possibly mold. Everything is really dusty too. My wife and I booked a room for two nights. We were told when we got there that it was a double booking and they had nothing available for us. The person that was checking us in said plainly “this happens about once every two weeks or so”. Not sure why that hasn’t been fixed in that case. It was stressful trying to find another booking. Slightly relieved though after realizing how that building smells. Would not recommend.

I had a wonderful experience. It was beautifully restored and decorated with a perfect blend of modern amenities and historic charm. The location is also great, with easy access to all that area has to offer. I would highly recommend Grandison Inn to anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay in Oklahoma.

3rd time being here! They never disappoint. We noticed a few changes and they were some of our suggestions the last time we stayed here. They are amazing! They listen to what you have to say. Kudos! We will be back very soon with the rest of the family.

We've been going here since our honeymoon 20 years ago. Over the years the upkeep and amenities have diminished but the price has remained the same. This is a great value for a kid free getaway. Most rooms have a 2 person jetted tub. It's just a quick walk to the nearest street car stop for easy car free access to most of downtown OKC.

I was looking for a 2nd option for a stay and came upon the grandson. From the first call to Claudia to the moment we left for home, loved it. Beautiful home plenty of parking, big jetted tub and that bed was heaven. We enjoyed the sound of stairs from the house that was 118yrs old. We loved it and will be back and seen Claudia many different times during day and night time hours.

Always enjoy our stay here at the Grandison. Ms. Claudia (the owner) is such a blessing. She has such a kind and sweet spirit and loves talking with her guests. Whenever we get to stay, we are always treated like family, not just a customer. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here. Will VERY HAPPILY stay here again.

Great location, no Uber necessary it is easy access to the OKC Streetcar. Walked over to the Hacienda for magaritas, toured all of downtown OKC for 3$ day pass on Trolley. Visited OKC Memorial, Crystal Bridge and 4 breweries in the neighborhood. Bob and Claudia are kind and accommodating hosts. The jetted hot tubs are a great way to relax and stress just disappear in the bubbles

Stayed here for a wedding a couple months ago and it was such a cute inn. I stayed in the hound room with my cousin, and we loved reading letters previous people left. It was very clean and comfortable. The staff were super nice and the cat was adorable! Also the different themes each room had was so cool! My favorite was the pink sitting area. loved the pink couch!!

I cannot recommend The Grandison Inn enough as a lovely and comfortable bed & breakfast in the heart of OKC. My wife and I very much enjoyed our (second) stay at the beginning of this year. Definitely consider booking a night for yourself and your sweetie, or just a night away to yourself. Every room has a relaxing jacuzzi tub, we watched a movie and enjoyed our warm bubbles together.

I came here with my wife for our honey moon and it was absolutely amazing. It's a beautiful, old-fashioned home with several rooms to choose from. Our room came with a large Jacuzzi style tub and a luxurious, king sized bed. Our food was brought directly to the room and everything tasted great. The owner, Claudia, and her staff went above and beyond to make our honeymoon great. We will definitely be coming back!

Not that great of an experience. The room was great! When we arrived, all the lady could talk about was how she didn't know we were coming, and she wishes "they" would have told her we were scheduled. Someone was in our room taking pictures with stuff strung all over the bed. I can forgive a lot, but the attitude of the lady at the check in, was just horrible.

We went to the Grandison for a lovely dinner by edge ministries. Everytime we come to the inn we're amazed by another detail of beauty at the inn. The place is always peaceful, and the Victorian style architecture and decor make it absolutely lovely. The inn is located in downtown Oklahoma city near Bricktown making it an ideal local for being able to enjoy peace and quiet on the large front porch or enjoying an evening on the town.
