My father and I got together for breakfast. When we arrived we parked in their private lot. We walked in and was greeted and sat by the manager. Tina was our server and she was very nice and attentive. I ordered the apple and walnut crepes and my dad ordered the cornbeef hash and eggs. When the food came out it looked good. The crepes were very good and very light. My dad enjoyed his meal as well. The bill was low and we enjoyed.

Great mom and pop style dinner. Very attentive staff and the food was good. Hungry Man is my go to breakfast platter. Corned beef hash was tasty as well. Fair prices and quick service. Great breakfast or brunch place.

We happened to stop by these town and happened to need lunch. After searching Google map for high rating restaurants with budget prices, we ended up with this restaurant. First of all, all the previous reviews are correct! This restaurant is definitely not a land mine! The menu is really huge with all kinds of dishes for or ages, and the prices are very fair especially during this highly inflated economy crisis. Besides the portion of the dishes are big enough. As for the food, The dishes tasted Not bad, but may be a little bit plain for people who like salty food. There are pepper and salt on the table though, people may other just the flavor by themselves. The service was not bad, either. The waitress did that pretend being friendly, but nice and patient enough to serve. So I think this is a nice place to visit with traditional American style food and dinning atmosphere!

I love this place. That said, they need to do better at training their wait staff on food allergies. I went there recently and was very clear that I could not eat anything with gluten; yet when I was half way through my meal, I found a pile of stuffing under my chicken which later made me sick. I don't get the sense that the staff understands how serious this is for some people. Another time, I got a soup which they happily served me with a package of saltine crackers. For people with food challenges, we go to places we trust because they feel safe. I'm (sadly) starting to lose trust in this restaurant, and that sucks because the food is wonderful and the staff are always very nice.

Deliciousness in a real diner! Best customer service I have EVER seen...and I am almost 67 years old, so I know both good food and good service! Going back before we leave NJ! Amazing place. Loved it!

Hit the gas and drive by. I would not order from here again. There are better diners in the area that serve quality food for less money. **Based on response of the business to this review, it further highlights why you should go to another diner** Items Ordered: -French Onion Soup -Chicken Noodle Soup -Disco Fries -Greek Salad -Ham, Cheese, & Salami Sub -Potato Salad Cons: 1. Different prices on the menu for the same items on Door Dash. They definitely make the adjustment to charge you the higher priced but do not fix the menu. **Edit: On the Door Dash menu itself there are two different prices for the same items. 2. Disco Fries were dry and the gravy lacked flavor. 3. Greek Salad was tiny and not fresh for nearly $14.00. They could not even be bothered to put in the green peppers it is supposed to come with. 4. Very poor packaging. The salad and soup leaked through the bag and throughout my house. **Edit: The soup and salad leaked through the dashers bags. 5. The ham, salami, & cheese sub was awful. 1 slice of each on the sections of bread and the meat was not quality. 6. The Onion Soup tasted off. 7. Expensive 8. Not long after eating my family had stomach issues.

Friendly, small diner that was a great find. I wasn't sure what to get and the waitress made a recommendation (the Old Bridge Beef sandwich) with au just and it was phenomenal. The desserts are amazing as well, and service is fast!

Offers GLUTEN FREE options! And does have a dedicated fryer for french fries and other (gf) fried items you may order (I saw gf chicken tenders on the menu!) I enjoyed a western omelette with fries cooked in the gf fryer. Attentive and helpful service. Be sure to tell them ahead of ordering if you're celiac/gluten intolerant, as they can turn the dedicated fryer on for you if it isn't already! 😊 Other diners I was with enjoyed a burger, and pancakes. We're looking forward to returning!

It was my first time in this place. I was with a dear friend and we had the early bird dinner special. A young brunette girl served us who was very friendly and helpful. She suggested the brown sugar on our soup. I have to go back again. I like their food.

My wife and I went here for breakfast on a Sunday morning after a date night in New Brunswick. The place was completely packed, but we were fortunate to get seated immediately. They’ve got a full service menu and offer just about every breakfast option. Our waitress was awesome. Even with how busy she was, she never faltered in making sure we were taken care of and coffee was refilled. The food was incredible and we’ll definitely be back if we’re in the area.

First time coming here and was not disappointed. We arrived just after opening and had an easy time getting a table. By the time we finished the place filled all the way up. The decor is so nice and nostalgic - especially if you want that classic diner vibe. We got the cheddar cheese omelette with hash browns along with pancakes with scrambled eggs and bacon. The omelette was very tasty and pretty big. The hash browns were your standard delicious diner hash browns. My meal came with toast which was buttered to perfection. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious. The bacon for each dish was cooked differently as per request - which was really appreciated. The coffee was a bit disappointing but that can be overlooked with the rest of the meal being so delicious. Great place to take the family for a morning breakfast.

This place is a local staple! It's one of my go to restaurants for hanging out with friends as it is quick and convenient, and the service is great, and the servers are very nice and accomadating. For the best quality food, go for their burgers and wraps, the steaks they offer are alright, though definitely nothing like you would find in a fancy steakhouse. Their caesar wrap is also tasty and very filling, and they offer a diverse range of food with generous portions at a good price, plus with the convenience of paying at the door once you get your check. Parking is a bit tight as there are limited amounts of spots, but go on a weekday in the late morning/early noon and you should be able to easily find parking.

Every time we go here, everyone is so kind. My daughter has Celiac, so I always order ahead because they keep separate cookware and need to fry in a pan heat oil, etc. They are ridiculously accommodating, and the food is great! Everyone always leaves full, happy, and healthy!

This is one of the best diners I’ve ever been to which is saying a lot because I’ve lived in NJ my whole life and have eaten at dozens of diners. What sets this place apart is 1) the bacon - grilled, not baked 2) - the service is amazing 3) - the food was great overall and came out so quickly. This is a place I highly recommend if you are in Central NJ.

I love this diner. The service is fast and attentive. The food is delicious - I recommend the burgers, the pancakes, and the waffles. And the coffee is good enough to drink black but rest assured, they do have a fancy coffee machine for all your fancy coffee needs.

I was there on black friday and the place was packed but we got sat fast... that's nice then the s*** show started.. the waitress was nice to the whole table but me like she knew me and had an issue. The rest of my party asked me if I knew her which I didn't because they saw how she acted to. The food was great but will never go back because of my experience with her.

Server was good, attentive with good food recommendations. Food menu is huge and food was delicious. Had a party of possible 5 to 10 ppl, called ahead and able to accommodate. Table was reserved to accommodate party. Decent size parking lot. Place is not huge. Bathroom very clean.

This is our "go to" local place for amazing breakfast! Just recently we went for dinner and was blown away! The specials come with soup and a full size piece of good quality cake. We've never been let down so far & we're so happy to be able to patronize a local business instead of some corp chain. The waitresses have been nothing but stellar & attentive with a smile and good suggestions. (As for the bad reviews...read them closely - food delivery & fried shrimp)? Choose wisely and have a good meal at OBD!

Rarely do I frequent this place (i think the last time was ten years ago, which is ironic considering I live in walking distance), but I was quite surprised this time around. Very good breakfast. I do have an issue with not being able to swap out the sausage on the one breakfast special, though. I don't like it.

Don't order the shrimp in a basket. Tiny old frozen shrimp that looked like fried bread crumbs and fishy taste. Sent back and no restitution offer. The dark hair woman at register never acknowledged our issue. Bo sorry, discount or smile. She just wanted our money. Service such as this deserves a thumbs down. Goodbye, we're not coming back.

This diner has become my boyfriend and I's go to spot to have any kind of meal whenever we're hungry. The atmosphere is very welcoming, the wait staff are awesome and the owner is such a welcoming person. We love it here and highly recommend it!

Drove past this diner many times first time stopping. It was smaller than I imagined but big on personality. Their menu was huge! I had a regular breakfast topped off with a shared slice of cheesecake. Over all its simple no frills place but the flavors were spot on. And that cheesecake was simply divine. We will be back.
