Love the yin classes especially. Have always loved the energy of this location. Instructors are great and can be found also at the uptown location. I prefer the last classes of the evening as it can be a more relaxed class than the ones immediately after work. Only suggestion is to ask members to be mindful and walk lightly/ not on their heels but rather on balls of their feet. When you are the only person not bolting out of class as soon as the instructor says “Namaste” you are abruptly aware of your surrounding with the sound of stomping and vibrating floors around your head from in the room and those in the hall. I have also had massages here then gone to class or reversed. This is great! Having tea before or after is great. Love seeing the community board on the way out. I noticed they introduced many products lately and redid the lounge area Nice touch of the recipe boards just outside the change rooms

Friendly, helpful, a little more of a hippie vibe than some of the other studios in the city, and a very consistent style of yoga, no variation really can make it a bit tawdry if it's not your thing. That being said, for those that it is, this place is fantastic and the service is perfect.

Have been going to this studio for over a year now. It's wonderful. Great staff and instructors, great space. Going here is often the best part of my days during the week!

I love mod yoga First time I want … It was in Los Angeles. And then I’ve decided to take classes in Toronto, as I leave here. I did Hot yoga there several times. But then.. Covid has came. So now I need to go back to mod yoga And take hot yoga classes. I really like Mod Yoga.

Had a great class with substitute instructor Marla Bond today. She gives very clear instruction, motivates, challenges and inspires all while keeping things fun and enjoyable. Love her choice of music, positive attitude and infectious energy. Would highly recommend Marla’s classes and hope she becomes a permanent member of the Modo St. Clair instructor team.

Marla teaching Vinyasa at St Clair west and Yonge and Lawrence Moda Yoga. Amazing teacher. Killer workout all wrapped up with passion, positivity, and highly skilled technical knowledge in the practice . Cues the class in a highly choreographed manner, giving tips for how to craft the pose more accurately. You will feel happy and energized when you leave. 10/10.

I had a really bad experience with a staff member just today. She lied that the software won’t let her reserve a spot when I’ve been doing it for weeks and at other locations. She then blamed us for a previous week when my friend was signing up- she didn’t help him, wasn't able to find him in the system and it took so long. She said on the phone today accusing us that the reason she couldn’t reserve a spot was ‘remember last week’. She didn’t know how to use the system when the system is used by so many studios and all of them are able to reserve spots. I can’t believe locations hire people that are not only not well trained, but also rude and blame you when you were so patient and kind with them despite being held up at the desk almost as long as the yoga session.
