Travelled with my friends for afternoon tea. Busy carpark but can park outside too. The afternoon tea was amazing and plentiful and you have unlimited hot drinks included and the staff were very attentive. The views were so lovely and we said when we come back when the weather is better we would have a little walk around the area. We will definitely be back thankyou

I visited Grandpa Greenes for the first time with my Sister for her Birthday as a treat, the service was impeccable, the food was divine, so fresh and very tasty. The surroundings are beautiful, right next to the canal 💕 We had unlimited hot drinks which was an added bonus, the only one nag I had was the wasps that kept flying into the 'igloo' 😅 it is expected though, as they had a beautiful array of fresh flowers inside and flower arrangements and beds on the outside. Overall I would 100% recommend this place, whether it's a celebration or just a midweek treat ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It's lovely here and the food is quality. Remember it's a canal side eatery in a semi rural area and the views really nice. It's not a Five Star, kitted out high street restaurant - it has an ice cream outlet for passes by, pre- fab igloos to book for your family and friends and a nice seated area indoors,but again the feel of a prefab with plenty of windows for the view. This particular visit was on a cold winters morning and as we were sat near the door it was quite draughty. The staff are friendly and service is good.the breakfast dish pictured is avocado on sour bread toast with 2 poached eggs and a side order of bacon circa £11 .I would have liked a sharper knife to cut the bread! If you are in the area it is well worth a visit, and if you are eating in, consider booking beforehand

Great time, good food and friendly staff. If I was to offer any criticism it's, more savoury and less on the sweet stuff. But brilliant all the same, and good value. Stunning location.

I have wanted to go here for years and finally got to go for my 24th birthday. I got the English breakfast and my girlfriend got poached eggs and avocados. That food was amazing and very filling. However, where it lost 1 rating was the milkshakes. In my opinion they were really lacking. The milkshake just tasted of vanilla (I might be being nit picky here) but it was meant to taste like biscoff and I wasn't able to taste the biscoff. Other than that it was amazing and would recommend to anyone and everyone. We was in one of the pods it had a cosy atmosphere. Then both got some lovely ice creams at the end. Like I said couldn't recommend it more just maybe get another beverage other than the milkshakes.

We popped here for a hot drink and cake, had the Biscoff brownie which was incredible, so tasty and indulgent. Also had a hot chocolate which was really good. The place was busy so service was slower as a result but once ordered food and drinks came out quickly. There were a lot of noisy kids here, definitely avoid if that's not your thing! But if that doesn't bother you, it's well worth a visit.

I went for afternoon tea with my family, for the price we got unlimited hot drinks and 2 benches full of sandwiches and cakes. The variety is great but as a plain Jane I had to order a separate sandwich which they catered for and included for me. The views are spectacular and natural. Lots of foot traffic passing and options of outdoor seating as well as the igloos we were seated in. Staff checked in frequently and were very polite.

I had a wonderful experience at Granpa Green. The location is perfect, right next to the canal and there is a nice walking path. The service was excellent, we didn't have to wait long for our food and the staff was very friendly. The food was amazing, we had the eggs benedict and the bagel, both of which were delicious. The restaurant is family and pet friendly, and there is free parking on site. I would definitely recommend Granpa Green to anyone looking for a great dining experience.
