Several people had recommended this restaurant to me, so I had to try it! I went with a friend about 3:30 on a weekday and when we arrived, there was only one other party. By the time we left at 5, it was packed! Our service was not great but it think it was because our server was stretched too thin. We tried the calamari, spinach artichoke dip, and ceaser salad. The stand out was actually the chips for the spinach dip. Otherwise the spinach dip was not fully warmed up and it then was not great and to us, lacked flavor. The same was true for the calamari, it just lacked flavor and was more breading than calamari. The Cesar was average with box croutons. I would rate this restaurant from this one experience as a "C+" , slightly above average. I did not try any main dishes and I wonder if the time of day played a role in the experience. I plan to try to again because it came so highly recommend by several people.

The parking lot is pretty small, and would recommend parking on the side street if you have a larger vehicle. Even my jeep had some trouble because folks double parked. The service was ok, but it seemed that after we got our meal, our server completely disappeared. The seating is a bit tight, and I felt like we were playing bumper seats with my neighbor. Overall, the food was just ok, it didn’t have any standout qualities that we noticed.

Don’t know what the hype is about but I didn’t like my experience with them and I’m very easy to please. The packaging was kinda messy. The Spaghetti with meat sauce was meh, it was mediocre and that’s being nice. I kinda like the prawn scampi but for the price they could have added a couple more prawns because then it was mostly pasta drowning in oil. Tiramisu was ok. Nothing special. I regret ordering from them, it’s not worth the money.

Always a joy to come to Pellegrinos Restaurant. We have never had any bad service or food and even though they are very busy most of the time we never have to wait to long for a table. I do have to admit that we ask for Kinsey as Our server as she is a friend of the family. But she is getting ready for some time off, as she is almost ready to have her much anticipated baby girl,(Congratulations!) Anyway back to the review, the food is always hot and delicious. They have a tremendous selection of appetizers and drinks. The dinners are simply to die for. They might not be in New York, or LA but I would put them up against any Italian restaurant in any big city. Last but not least their deserts are second to none. I highly recommend the homemade Flan. The finest I have ever tasted. So when you are in Tumwater, Washington do not miss Pellegrinos.

Wow! Fantastic local Italian food. The tortellini al pesto was fantastic and ending with Eggnog creme brulee was a treat. A fun romantic evening.

The reason why we came here was it was the only restaurant that can accomodate a party of 11 that night. It was for a wedding reception and an impromptu one too. BOY WE WERE IN LUCK! It's one of those family owned italian restaurant and the food were amazing. Our server Hannah took really good care of our table. She was very nice and patient with us. I only have photos of the appetizers because we devoured our entrees the moment it came in. The price is very reasonable for the serving size. Italian flavors are all there. It was a great experience for us! We will definitely come back!

Color me not impressed. We’ve eaten here before, it’s quaint, cute, a quiet spot with that Olympia charm. But it’s been a couple of years for us. We came back to reintroduce ourselves, the staff is rough.. the food is okay but not good. I feel for the owner, it these tough times we are in, its hard to find employees, and it really diminishes the appeal of the restaurant.

Food was great during previous visits, but this time the pasta dish I ordered had an unappetizing pool of oil at the bottom (and no flavor) and had to be sent back. The steak we ordered medium rare turned out medium well, the chicken was also overcooked, and the accompanying vegetables were undercooked. Our server was friendly and understanding and didn't charge us for the pasta since I was unable to eat any of it.

We chose Pellegrinos to cater our wedding, and are so happy we did! The food was amazing and the servers that came to our event were so friendly and helpful. Everyone loved the food and the pricing was very reasonable.

My husband and I came here to grab late lunch and no one was at the front. We saw the kitchen crew working fast and quickly. Someone walked by and went to the back. My husband and I were standing by the stand. We then sat down. After 8 mins someone else walked in to do a pick up she raised her voice to get someone’s attention to pick up her food and my husband and I just left. We were craving some good Italian food and was recommended by a friend - disappointed we didn’t get to try it out. Parking is located at the back small spaces. Entrance is facing the road but easy to locate.

My husband loves Italian food, so I surprised him with a birthday lunch here. The atmosphere was astonishing, and the food was spectacular. We enjoyed every bite, even the dessert we took home for dinner with the kids.

So my husband took me here for my birthday. It was an awful experience, our friends told us it was amazing. For$99 we had dinner, sat outside that was really nice. No plates for bread no napkins had to get silverware for ourselves. The fork had some hard food still on it, my husband's drink (whatever lemon lime drink they had) was soda water. The water had strawberry seeds floating in it. I ordered calamari it was rubber, breaded ravioli was ok. I had wild mushroom tortellini it was supposed to have Oyster, Portabella, Crimini, & Shitake mushrooms. With Roasted tomatoes and parmesan cheese. Well all I tasted was tomatoes and parmesan. I got it for the mushrooms. It did have portabella mushrooms with no taste. We did not even if have salt and pepper. When I told the waitress she did offer something else but I told her my stomach was getting upset. They did not even take a dollor of my meal. My husband had Sicilian parmesan chicken, the chicken was ok the spaghetti was awful. The lemon tiramisu was not so great either. We gave them $120 for a meal that was $99.57 ( not sure on coins) she brought me back $12 she only shorted herself on the tip. We left it all for her. Very sad not such a great birthday dinner and we only get date night once a month.

The food was really meh. I had the clam linguine and there was a hair in mine. My husband had the steamer clams and there was a hair in it too. My pasta tasted like low tide and it was really disappointing. I did however like the cocktail I got.

This place is delicious! Everything my family and I ordered was delicious. It was quite cozy and I wouldn’t recommend bringing a baby if they are going to make fuss due to the small establishment. I also don’t see strollers fitting in well either. I also want to highlight that they have an amazing staff and cooks. I witnessed them making a great effort for someone who couldn’t have garlic! 5 stars all the way.

The best Italian food in Thurston County! The best time to go is during the week. Try the cannoli.

The steak and shrimp were good, but the fettuccine was a bit dry with little sauce. The roasted tomatoes have great flavor. The veggies would be much more flavorful, roasted with olive oil and herbs instead of just steamed and covered in salt. They were so bland and too salty. The wait staff were great and attentive. The restaurant is cold. I had to wear my coat during dinner.

Love this place to death. Food quality is amazing, even on a takeout order. Overall, you can tell the owner really cares about this restaurant, and I'm always happy to come eat here and support it. Tour of Italy will always be my favorite. (I added my own pepper)

First time here because a friend recommended it. Food was so freaking delicious!! First thing put on the table was bread. Ok, not that interesting to me. I had the wild mushroom crostini. Talk about appetizer. The way they prepared it was delicious. I have a semi dislike of mushroom that is thick and meaty. This app did not disappoint, was freaking delicious. I went with the minestrone soup that was very very good. Since it was my first time I went with tour of Italy as my main. Want to try a little bit of everything. Damn it was so good. I will be back so I can try the other items that I was not able to taste. Damn almost forgot the desert I went with the camel apple cheese cake. Disgustingly delicious!! When you get the chance you need to try this place!!!!

Oh. My. God. All my life I grew up with having Olive Garden as my favorite restaurant. Well, I feel very stupid. The flavoring of the food here is eye opening. Their Alfredo is thick and creamy but not messy. Their chicken is tasteful and perfectly cooked. Their oil for their bread, I never would of imagined I’d be impressed by oil. But the delicate hint of olive with the sweet and slightly vinegar flavoring just completed the whole experience. We did get it to go and it was cooked in the time frame it said and was still hot when we got home. It was packaged away in these adorable white boxes.

This little piece of heaven is a must go! Went in alone for lunch and it was amazing. I was helped instantaneously, greeted warmly, and treated kindly my whole stay. I had the a glass of wine, a meal, and dessert and my bill was around $30. the cannoli was very authentic to Italy and I was extremely pleased. I will definitely be going back.

You should probably remove the Monte cristo from your menu if you aren't going to cook them. You seem to have no problem serving them to your customers raw, with the health risks. I ordered one about a year ago and got sick from it and never returned back to your establishment. Today my mother and her partner experienced the same issue so my experience definitely wasn't a fluke.

Me and my husband felt like Italian and stumbled upon this little restaurant and decided to give it a try. We walked in and asked for table for 2 and to big surprise were escorted into a smaller building next door to be seated. Apparently the building has been used for catering but is now used for guests overflow. The building was very old and had a very strange strong smell I was not a fan of. Alright. We sat down and promptly were greeted and brought water and yummy warm bread. I ordered a Chicken Scaloppine and my husband got a Chicken Marsala. Our dishes took about 30 minutes to come out and they did not come with anything else besides bread. Chicken Marsala was on the smaller side and Included veggies, which was nice and different....My pasta portion was HUGE.Probably a largest plate of pasta I have ever gotten at a restaurant. If I would have known I would have ordered one for me and my husband to share. My dish was flavorful and tasty but I wish it had some cream to it -would have made this dish a 5 star. I stuffed myself as much as I could and my husband was happy to finish the rest. Regardless we loved our experience and next time we are in the area we will definitely stop by to try something different. Thank you so so so much 🙏

This is my absolute favorite restaurant. In 2018 we chose Pellegrino's off a wedding planning website to cater our wedding because it was affordable and who doesn't love pasta? We were really impressed with that experience overall and the guests were raving about the food. My husband and I live in Kent but drive down each wedding anniversary to have the meal served at our wedding as a tradition. Lately we have been making the hour long trek more often because I am just obsessed with the sweet cream basil pesto. The food here is phenomenal, huge portions, and quick service. I'm dreaming about going back already for another plate of the amazing pasta

I have been here more than once and the food is always excellent. My mother in law and I got a salad last time and they were both delicious (I got the Gorgonzola Steak salad). We went there tonight and had Garlic Parmesan Capellini, the Spinach and Artichoke Dip, The Cannoli and the Spumoni Gelato. All were amazing. Very reasonable prices for the quality and great service. Not a single complaint!
