The
old
town
of
Timisoara
is
a
beautiful
and
historic
place,
with
a
rich
cultural
heritage.
It
is
a
great
place
to
wander
around
and
soak
up
the
atmosphere,
or
to
visit
some
of
the
many
historical
attractions.
The
main
square,
Unirii
Square,
is
the
heart
of
the
old
town
and
is
home
to
some
of
the
city's
most
iconic
buildings,
including
the
Serbian
Orthodox
Church,
the
Roman
Catholic
Cathedral,
and
the
Palace
of
Culture.
The
square
is
also
a
great
place
to
people-watch,
or
to
enjoy
a
coffee
or
meal
at
one
of
the
many
outdoor
cafes.
The
old
town
is
also
a
great
place
to
shop
for
souvenirs
or
to
enjoy
a
traditional
Romanian
meal.
There
are
many
small
shops
and
restaurants
selling
everything
from
traditional
Romanian
handicrafts
to
international
cuisine.
There
are
plenty
of
parking
areas,
but
can
be
limited
and
you
have
to
pay.
All
the
parking
on
the
city
centre
is
the
green
parking
where
everyone
has
to
pay
as
little
as
0,98
euro
for
the
first
hour.
You
can
also
download
TPARK
app
and
pay
in
the
app,
which
I
consider
to
be
very
helpful.
