King David’s Tomb is situated on Mount Zion just outside the Old City walls in Jerusalem. Although the authenticity of the site has long been in question it is still a sacred site for Jews, Christians and Muslims. David is an Old Testament hero, King of the Israelites, credited with fighting Goliath; he composed many of the psalms and was father to King Solomon. David’s Tomb stands in the ground-level room of a Crusader-era building. On the second floor of the same building is the Room of the Last Supper. The room holding David’s sarcophagus is used as a synagogue while the Upper Room is visited by Christians in memory of Christ’s Last Supper.

Another one for the books for us pilgrims from the Philippines🇵🇭. The place was just awesome. The walls were witness to what happened thousands of years ago. This also houses the tomb of King David, one of the more prominent figure me mentioned in the bible.

I don’t think King David would like the way people worship him and cry over his tomb today. Seems like he has been made into an idol here. From Zion gate there are signs pointing you directly there. Upon entry you will split male and female. Dress respectfully. Wasn’t too busy for a weekday in August.

Free entrance to a very sacred and historical place. Despite going on a weekend, I was very lucky to have visited King David’s Tomb at a time when there were nearly no tourists, so it was very calm, peaceful and serene. It is located just outside the old city, with signs displayed prominently guiding you there. You will need to split into males and females once you enter. Outside, you will have quite a clear view of mount of olives and the churches of ascension

Sacred place. Located just outside the Zion Gate. A 20 min walk from the Western Wall. The Last Supper Room is on the second floor. Both worth a visit.

Wow!! It's a great historical place, mount ZION, Prophet David is mentioned many times in the holy Quran, birds would hymn God's praise with him,, iron was made soft for him . He is the father of the Prophet Solomon. No welcoming faces at the place , Many other places of interest nearby.

This area of Mount Zion is interesting to explore (see the bathroom area too!), King David's tomb has separate entrances for men and women, and is sometimes crowded, like when we visited in November 2022. This is probably NOT the real location of David's tomb, but this Mount Zion (and the nearby Last Supper Room) is worth a trip for serious religious people.

If you want to enter this tomb, you have to use the Kipa (for men) which is usually available at the door. Around this tomb there are several areas that are not allowed to take pictures. Inside this place, you will also see some Jews reciting prayers, therefore you are expected to remain calm (not make to much noise).

Some depiction of kind David's life and his achievements is worth seeing. Agin there is a place to sit and pray at the tomb of David. There is also a museum nearby which is a must watch along with the special room for a brief overview on holocaust and its survivors. On the opposite side of the road is the cemetery of those who came back. Worth visiting and watching.

According to Medieval tradition it was the burial place of King David. Most scholars seem to doubt it. There’s nothing there to see. There’s a small synagogue there were you can pray and see a fake tomb.

I think this place is very strange. Because Jews believe that David was their king but people. However, Muslims believe that David became a prophet when he was fifty five years old. The place is a bit crowded but you can find a chance to see David’s tomb that was managed by Jews.

It is a great honor to visit such meaningful place as non-believer. The plastic wrap around the coffin makes the experience somewhat less solemn but I highly appreciate opening this holy site to the public.
