I thought it was a nice location and I liked the setup right on the beach! They are working on making the hotel better, but I never heard any construction noise so that was nice. Room was huge and comfortable. I liked how you have to pay for the chairs because it ensured I got one and nobody would take it! Towels were provided as well at the beach. Staff was always super kind to me. The location is amazing. Super close to everything, lots of food and shopping choices! For some improvements: I would say they should improve the room service food. I only tried it once, but it wasnโ€™t very good. Maybe add more caribbean options! And I would say do something else with the bird cages. Maybe they could invest in bigger cage spaces. I think it would be cool if they made like an indoor bird area. I also felt bad for the birds because tons of wild birds were getting into their cages and eating their food/disturbing them. Just some thoughts! Overall great stay and I would recommend!

Keep in mind it is going through from construction at the moment โ€” nonetheless, the rooms are CLEAN which is all I can hope for with a hotel. That is my priority. They are also tasteful and the whole property is very pleasant and aesthetically pleasing. The staff is also very friendly and helpful! The food is also quality! The beach is very well maintained and I have spent the majority of my trip on their beach! Honestly, will recommend this property to friends and family who wish to come visit!

The service makes the Hilton amazing. EVERYONE was incredibly nice and would go out of their way for you!! Location was amazing as the beach front property seemed to literally be the BEST beach that we experienced. It's big with plenty of room. Shade was available, and they would deliver food to you beach side (with a smile). Definitely recommended, and will be back one day!!!

We just love the Hilton! Everyone is friendly, helpful, kind and very attentive! We have been coming here for years, it is our favorite hotel! The grounds are just beautiful, the pools great and the beach is amazing, not to crowded like some of the other places on the island. We love seeing the same staff there for years and they are always so welcoming and happy that we are back! The location is perfect everything is in walking distance.

What a wonderful hotel this is! The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome! For a special occasion, I absolutely recommend the sunset concierge private dinner. It was wonderful. The hotel's restaurants had delicious food! Much better than typical resort quality. We would love to come back here and stay longer next time!

The Aruba Hilton was amazing! We had the best week, their staff was incredible in every way. They are super friendly and they make sure your experience is perfect from the moment you check in. The beach/pool bar has great food and a great atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was awesome but if you don't want a large breakfast they have a great coffee shop in the lobby with snacks and baked goods. The gift shop features upscale clothing and basically most anything you might need. We had the most amazing week in Aruba!

Took a catamaran cruise on the Mi Dushi to the Antilla Shipwreck site (one of three snorkeling stops). Just swimming along, checking out all the fish and turtles and then bam, a giant ship easily visible right underneath you. Highly recommend this excursion as they also serve an amazing lunch and drinks. Crew is super friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

This resort had a lot of opportunities to make this a phenomenal stay, but did not deliver. As a Diamond member, I expected certain benefits as they were described on the Hilton App for this property. This includes upgrades to rooms with special amenities, high floors, etc. as well as complimentary breakfast. I had requested a room upgrade ahead of time, but was told that no upgrades were available upon arrival. The room we were initially placed in was on the bottom floor facing the bushes with no view. I saw that plenty of rooms were available for me to book online, which I mentioned to the front desk person. She then finally agreed to upgrade me. We were very unsatisfied with this "upgrade" as it faced the parking lot. Eventually, we were moved to another room in the Aruba tower, which was much better, but incredibly inconvenient to have had to move mid-stay. Also, I was told that rooms on the Club floor were not eligible to be upgraded to as they have special amenities (though this is exactly what the Hilton app says is a benefit of Diamond members for this property). I booked two rooms under my HHonors number, but was told I could only use my Diamond benefits for one room. When I tried to apply my partner's Gold status to the other room, I was told I couldn't do that either. In fact, there were multiple other guests (who mentioned also having Diamond status) who were complaining at the front desk as well about similar issues. In addition to these issues, we had to continually call and ask for towels, wash cloths, shampoo, and bottles of water as these were not regularly restocked when our room was cleaned. This property is nice, but a bit dated and lacking in amenities. Plus, these aforementioned issues would prohibit me from ever recommending this resort to anyone.

Great hotel! Absolutely beautiful. Love the amenities they had. Food and drinks were great! Pools were clean. Beach area was beautiful and relaxing. Employees were so wonderful and friendly! Everyone is just so happy to work and be on the island. I found it so humbling. Hilton definitely made our stay one to remember. Room was clean and spacious. Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations! Thank you for making our vacation one we will never forget.

This spot was quite impressive. From the ship I took, you could snorkel along the entire ship which is not that far from the surface. Although I was able to touch it, my ears popped so I would recommend ear plugs. Scuba diving is available at the spot as well. The water is so fantastic to swim in all over the island of Aruba.

Amazing resort and staff, I never felt so safe. They even treated me like royalty for my birthday and have tons of great things to do on the resort and near by. You can walk around with driving anywhere. It was super inexpensive for a stay.

The staff was amazing. Ask for Carlos โค๏ธ at Gilligan's. The resort was nice and quiet. Even where we were on the 5th floor, there was very good hot water pressure in the shower. The grounds were immaculate. The cashiers at Oscar's were very nice and helpful. All around it was wonderful and we will be staying here again.

The while wreck is now underwater. The bow is about 16' deep and the stern is probably well over 60' deep now. We didn't encounter any strong currents or waves when we dove there and had a great time.

You pay for the location. Palm Beach is one of the best beaches we have been to (and we travel a lot) Resort is pretty unimpressive. Beach towels are small and thin. Beach lounge chairs are cheap strap chairs. Many nice restaurant's in walking distance. Room's are old and small and have changed little in the 10 years or so we have been coming here. Just to be fair they have upgraded the bathrooms. There is construction going on and although they said 8-5 it went on late into the night. You really don't get much for your ๐Ÿ’ฒ๐Ÿ’ฒ money here. Many other better island's out there.

We had the best time at the Hilton this past week! I had been to Aruba before and stayed at another much larger hotel (rhymes with chariot) and although my stay there was nice, I much prefer the Hilton. The quality of rooms, food, and service was up to par with the other hotel, but it's a much smaller resort so it's not nearly as crowded. We never had a problem finding a pair of chairs by the pools or on the beach, no matter the time of day. The beach at the Hilton, in my opinion, is the best along the entire stretch of high-rises on Palm Beach because it's not overcrowded with gift shops and food vendors (although, if that's your thing, both are just a quick walk down the beach--make sure you check out Eduardo's Beach Shack!). The staff were fantastic, always making sure we had what we needed for a comfortable stay and enjoyable experience. When I inevitably end up back in Aruba, I'll definitely be staying at the Hilton again!

This is our second time staying in this hotel. And it doesnโ€™t disappoint. Every staff member was making our stay even more pleasant. A happy island indeed! Landscape design is aesthetically pleasant to an eye, waterfalls, parrots, restaurants, cozy coffee shop, a very clean rooms and amenities, excellent beach. So well designed and maintained.

I stayed with my family at the Hilton Aruba for almost two weeks and we absolutely loved this place. The resort is incredible, situated in an excellent location, with a lot of amenities, two great pools and an amazing beach and is not too crowded, which we really enjoyed. Our room was also great and always super clean. As regards the food, the resort has many different restaurants and bars to choose from and also the beach service and they are all very good. I really liked that every day there were different activities, but I would find a way to better involve customers, because sometimes these activities fade into the background. I think the service is what makes Hilton so amazing. Everyone is friendly, very kind, attentive and willing to help you whenever you need, from the moment you arrive until you leave. Among all, I want to thank Fino, Santiago Acosta, Elisha and Angele for being so incredibly caring, nice and accommodating to me and my family. Your positive attitude really helped make this experience even more wonderful. Overall, we would highly recommend this place to anyone who wishes to come and visit Aruba. Hope to come back soon!

Just came back from Aruba and stayed at the Hilton. The grounds are a lush tropical paradise set on a beautiful beach. There was a little issue with the room. But Germaine the front desk manager made our stay there an incredible vacation experience. I cannot say enough of the kindness of the entire staff at the Hilton. Thank you for a great time! We will be back!

Arrived 10/3/22 to celebrate my 60th birthday . Everyone at the resort was very nice and helpful but Vicky from the front desk was super helpful and friendly. Vicky helped with a room upgrade and had a bottle of champagne delivered to my room the following day for my birthday. My wife surprised me with beautiful and delicious "Sunset dinner " on the beach for my birthday . The meal and the service were wonderful. The food at all the restaurants was very good ,but the food at the Sunset grill restaurant was superb. Delicious steak house. The resort is beautifully landscaped and has a gorgeous beach. Great restaurants across the street from the hotel as well.

Beautiful resort with a wide expanse of beach, and 2 decent sized pools. Plenty of bars and happy hour choices. Sizeable rooms and bathrooms with good water pressure. There are safes and mini-fridges in the rooms. Our partial ocean view room felt more like a full ocean view. The only issues we had were with house keeping who only cleaned our room on day 4 of a 5 day stay even though I twice spoke with the staff on our floor and requested service and new towels. And we had an issue getting gift cards credited to our account, but these did not ruin the vacation at all.

Wonderful. Beautiful. Perfect place to stay for a laid back beach vacation. We stayed club level and enjoyed breakfast every morning, an afternoon snack and evening cocktails. The ladies would remember our orders and have it ready. No house keeping at time we went due to COVID. There was plenty to eat and see across the street and we rented a car at the hotel and was able to drive around the island. Beaches were nice, pools were great and restaurant were good, service on the slow side, but itโ€™s island time.

This is a beautiful hotel. We went to the casino, so I can only speak to that as well as the outside of the property. The casino was small but had quite a few games. The staff pretty much stays out the way and lets you do your thing. They have a person that comes around periodically to see if you want drinks. So overall, it was a good experience. The outside of the property is stunning! They have a bird park where you can see some beautiful parrots and other bird species. The grounds are kept clean. 2 small pools and access directly to the beach.

If you are looking for a beautiful resort, clean, wonderful rooms, and ideally everything you are looking for at the beach without having to leave the resort look no further than the Hilton. But if service and dietary issues are part of what makes a good vacation I would strongly recommend not staying at the Hilton. We had a few employees who were friendly and attentive, but most seemed as if they did not really care to be there. When approaching someone it was a stark โ€œyesโ€ (like what do you want) versus โ€œhi how are you?โ€ - even when approaching with a โ€œhello good morningโ€ etc. Additionally upon checking out we were not asked how our stay was. It seemed as though the majority of employees were not interested in interacting with guests. Now let me be clear that this was not every person working at the Hilton. We had a lovely experience checking in, with a few beach employees, and with a server at dinner one night. But as a whole I would say most were not interested. I also have a gluten allergy and I would say the majority of staff were unaware as to what that meant and the amount of gluten free options were slim- especially at breakfast. Though they did have gluten free bread 1/5 days at breakfast and both times we ate at the Sunset Grille. Overall a 2/5 because the property is beautiful, clean, and offers a wonderful family friendly environment. Yet the staff working really did not seem interested in us and I had a hard time eating with my dietary restrictions.

We visited during the start of construction and were lucky to have been upgraded to a room with a beautiful view of the resort. The construction noise was not bad at the time, we spent a lot of time off the resort exploring during the day so we were not bothered by it. Would have loved to enjoy the second pool, but we knew there would be some limitations visiting during construction. Overall, amazing stay. Would highly recommend! All the team members were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Loved everything about this resort. Great service from the time we arrived to the very last minute before our departure. Everyone was welcoming, concierge was great, and everyone felt like friends (definitely recommend Estelle, Maria, Alberto, and Xiomara (Maria) at Sunset Grille (the restaurant closest to the lobby) and Steve at the bar. Food was great. Drinks were great. Access to the beach was awesome. Location to activities was awesome. Everything was wonderful. Especially enjoyed how it was across the street from part of Aruba's nightlife where we had an awesome Italian dinner followed by drinks and dancing at Fat Tuesdays. I will definitely choose the Hilton again if I return to Aruba.

The Hilton Aruba Resort and Casino is now one of our favorite places to stay. We recently stayed for the first time (January 2024) and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is in close proximity to all sorts of restaurants and night life. It has great beachfront access and two sizeable pools. The grounds and buildings were impeccably maintained, including our room. Our room was spotlessly clean when we arrived and the housekeepers kept it perfectly clean each of the 6 days we were there. The staff-from the front desk at check in, the pool attendants, bar staff, breakfast servers, room housekeepers, and everyone else we encountered were friendly and exhibited amazing hospitality. We saw many guests returning to hugs from staff-itโ€™s clear that the staff has been around a while and guests keep coming back. And we understand why-because we will too! We couldnโ€™t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing time in Aruba.

The resort itself is in a great spot, the beach is good, the staff are uniformly positive, the place is well-maintained. My problem is with the mandatory additional $95/day "resort fee". There was a lot of vagueness as to what this covered when we asked, but eventually saw a description of the fee, which covers "complimentary internet service" (if you're paying for it, it's not complimentary", health club access, in-room coffee, parking, all of which are generally standard in decent hotels. It also covers "complimentary" beach towels and beach chairs. At a "resort", these things should all be part of the experience. It's very disappointing to find out that the room price is actually $100 more than the advertised price. Maybe this is a standard practice at such resorts, but it seems a little shady and deceptive to me, not to mention a bit excessive. Enough that I'm not going back.

We had a wonderful stay here at the Hilton. The beach is great and staff was exceptional. We stayed at two resorts while here and the Hilton was better on all levels. The staff was extremely friendly and inviting. The room was updated and very clean. The beach was GREAT and the pools were clean and had plenty of seating (but not too much to cramp it up). The Palapas were spaced apartment nicely on the beach. Yes, the construction with the new building was happening but you can hardly notice it. Stay at the Hilton, don't waste your time with the Renaissance and it's private island, not worth it.

  • 5/5 Rohit P. 3 years ago on Google
Top level experience โ˜€๏ธ. Be safe if you are scared of deep water. It's not too deep but the shipwreck itself brings an eerie vibe to it. Cheers!!. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

  • 5/5 Brian T. 4 years ago on Google
Easy to snorkel this wreck, with schools of fish everywhere. Divers can get to the bottom at about 60 feet. The highest part is only ten feet with plenty to see at around 20 to 30 feet deep. Very clear water.

A really nice resort with a lot of activities, nice pools and a really nice beach. The staff are really friendly and always try to help. It's a bit annoying to deal with the reservation system to get a covered spot by the beach or pool, and you end up having to maybe pay for it. Breakfast buffet is okay but can get old after a few days. The hotel is conveniently located across a lot of food options.

The location is the best. The hotel is ne the best part of the beach and there are a few private piers next to the hotel with restaurants. The beach and the hotel grounds were gorgeous. The rooms are nice but very small. The hotel does not offer a full breakfast to diamond members and does not provide free breakfast for kids if you booked your room with Hilton points. One of the staff told us they don't care much about diamond members because 60% of the guests at the hotel are diamond members. Book this hotel with Hilton points. The hotel is a Hilton points bargain.

My family & I visited Aruba for the first time & absolutely loved this place. To begin with the entire staff is friendly and professional. They ensured we had everything we needed and were helpful. The room was gorgeous and super clean. Breakfast was great and there were so many different options to choose from. The service at the beach was great too. We were catered to from beginning to end. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Special thanks to Christopher, Sylvia, Grace, Theo, Ruga, Carlos, Cecilia and Daisy. I can continue as the list goes on. Everyone we came into contact with was professional and accommodating. The positive and helpful attitude displayed by the staff was exceptional. We will definitely return & stay at this beautiful hotel on this happy beautiful island.

My go-to location to stay when in Aruba. Its location can't be beat. Its staff goes above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The beach is amazing, the biggest beach front in the area. Many palapas are available to rent. Rooms are comfortable and well maintained. Can't wait until the new building is complete. Hilton Aruba continues to strive, and I'll continue to stay here.

Could not rave more about this place. A quick walk across the street leads you to amazing restaurants, high-class bars, classy clubs, dive bars, food trucks, famous franchises, and more. The fact I could walk across the street and have most options I would need for a night was worth it. Not to mention, there is always a taxi waiting if you want to go elsewhere. The beach is a short walk from the room, not to mention the pools and Hilton specific amenities and bars were very convenient. The room is clean and roomy, with the shower ranking as awesome. The housekeepers are real MVPs. They put my room in order daily, and if they saw me, asked if I needed anything extra or something different. This leads me to the rest of the staff; everybody was always checking in on me. Whether I was waiting for a taxi, at the bar, beach, or breakfast, multiple staff members came to me to make sure I was taken care of.

We love the Hilton Aruba. The location is in the center of the tourist/beach area so if not needing a car is important, than this is the spot to be as it's walkable to everything in the area and there are plenty of taxis to get you into town. The beach area is lovely with many palapas and they require a reservation so you don't need to feel like there's a mad rush to get to the beach in the morning. The Beach Bites service on the beach is convenient, efficient, and super friendly. The food is delicious at all the restaurants on site. All of the staff work hard, are accommodating, and really make every person feel special. Highly recommend!

Had a work conference there, setup was simple and nice. There were various water stations around the hall and our room. They also had a hit beverage station with assortiment of teas, coffee, etc. Only thing that would've made it the experience better is if they had enough power outlets. We had to use a computer and there were not enough, so we took turns charging our devices. We had a buffet for lunch that consisted if chicken breast, roast beef, fried rice, vegetables and salad. Top compliments to the chef. Best.Pumpkin.Soup.Ever! For the afternoon activity they opened up the ballroom, and it was very spacious for 650+ members. There were enough bathrooms close to the conference room that the ladies restroom line was constantly short. Highly recommend for events!

Location is very good and the hotel looks decent. However, the service and staff are horrendous. Multiple negative interactions with staff that left my wife and I shocked. In addition, there are minimal activities and zero night entertainment. I would recommend if your in this price point to look elsewhere. The staff seemed angry for the most part and the hotel appears money hungry, not in the business of making guests happy or have a good time. Everything was overpriced and took forever to get. For example, I waited 10 minutes at an empty bar for a can of beer; which was $10.00!!!! No wonder the bars are empty. If you want any type of night life you must leave the hotel.

DO NOT let the construction deter you from booking. I would not have known they had any major projects going on if they didnโ€™t make it known on their website. Food 10/10, drinks 10/10, service 10/10, grounds 20/10. My 3rd time in Aruba and Hilton will be my hotel of choice from now on. I also appreciated how clean the beach was. It also wasnโ€™t packed like the other hotels. This place is such a vibe and well worth every penny.

(Translated by Google) We went aboard with jolly pirates. Easy step up and kept tidy. There are 3 locations where you stop and you can dive at 2. In general, the first stop was allowed to take a little longer, this is because the ship was wrecked and was rather short since there was quite a lot to see (+ -25 minutes). And the last stop gave you the chance to jump into the water with a winch, just like the movie pirates of the Caribbean. The staff was very friendly. There was enough drink but don't expect a high spectacle. Food was not present here also for smokers it is forbidden to smoke. For the rest, a nice experience, very relaxed and well worth the money!

Dove the wreck this time. It's neat to see it up close but from a visual tourist stop it's almost as good just to snorkel it.

Huge wreck fun to look at but a bit busy with lots of boats and snorklers . I about got run over by a boat arriving while I was looking down.

You don't go to Aruba to see the two or three places they take everyone to dive or snorkle. This is one every boat goes to. It's okay, but it's not much as far as dive spots go.

Water wasn't so clear, but was amazing nonetheless to snorkel here

Wife and I were here for a belated honeymoon. Excellent resort. Everything was clean, staff very friendly, and it never felt even a bit crowded. We have been on quite a few tropical vacations and this is the only place we are already planning to return to. Aruba is the best, and the Hilton here delivers!

Lots of boats at the site, however, it is a large snorkeling area. We could not see the boat at all on the day we went out. Too dark and murky. Our tour boat captain told us we had 15 minutes to snorkel the area. WHAT? He told us that because he knew we couldn't see anything. Would be interesting to see on a nicer day. Currents are very strong in this area. If you are a beginner snorkeler, where a life jacket.

Nice shipwreck at 60 feet. Still basically intact. Vis was ok 50' or so. Easy dive.

So happy with this place. This is an older hotel, but the only thing that gives it away is the outside design of the building. The rooms are modern and nice. More than enough plugs for all your modern toys. Good wifi etc... But the property is amazing. The beach area is huge and well laid out so you don't feel crowded even in a crowd. The staff is friendly and welcoming. And well the location. It's just our the south end of the Noord's entertainment area. So everything is an easy walk, but you are set back from all the activities and traffic outside.

Just returned and this was the best hotel experience I have ever encountered! The staff were friendly, the hotel grounds and rooms were well maintained and clean. The beach was lovely. The location was on point. You literally step outside and are in the middle of the amazing strip of restaurants, nightlife and more! We will definitely return!

We are well traveled, pretty picky people and are quite happy to be staying here for our get away. The grounds are first class landscaping with so many interesting fish, iguanas and tropical birds. This is in addition to their bird garden filled with parrots. The pools are paradise. The location couldn't be better with the Carribean on one side and the excellent shops and restaurants on site and across the street. The staff are helpful and professional. Our room was clean, luxurious, and updated. The breakfast buffet and made to order was wonderful and a reasonable price. I recommend this facility without reservation.
