The accommodations, staff, location and beach are top notch. The time share owners absolutely make it miserable for anyone under the age of 45 to have a good time. With every breath “I’ve been coming here for 48 years”. They will take things that aren’t theirs and security will not get involved. So if you’re looking for a week of elder entitlement this is your place. If you want to have a good time and not be reverse age shamed go elsewhere.

Ok so yes the place is nice, the location is nice and the staff are nice … but many of the regular timeshare guests? Horribly miserable senior citizens who feel they are entitled to something simply because they’ve “been coming here for 40 years”. If you are looking for that scene then jump in. But if you are looking for a vacation with kind, sharing, welcoming fellow guests, stand clear of this cult group.

My family’s been going to Aruba for the last two weeks of the year for 35 years. The Playa Linda is truly our home away from home and we have never stayed anywhere else. For a timeshare, Playa Linda is tops. They are always upgrading the property, has the nicest (deepest) beach in Aruba, best juice, and smoothie bar (Eduardo’s!), and best restaurant (Azurro). We have had some of the best times at the Playa Linda and we look forward to our visit each year. If you need help with dinner reservations… Yvette will have you covered. The front desk is pretty good… Although at check-in time, they get very busy and overwhelmed.

Fabulous vacation and what an amazing resort. So clean, rooms are beautiful. The pool and beach area are so pretty and elegant. We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation and resort. Jessie the security man at the beach is the absolute best! Such a happy man and what a happy island! We will be going back next year and hopefully every year after!

Had issues with bug infestation in our room. They said they fixed it but did not and we had to call the manager. They did come and eventually change our room after we complained enough. The beach is beautiful and the view is amazing.

Black people stay away. I was racially profiled and told I don’t belong here. I was extorted by the security on the property. We clearly are not welcome here and I’ll let everyone I know NEVER book here. Honestly didn’t know if I was going to make it home with some of the looks I got. This is 2023 and your still looked down on for the color of your skin.

We've been going to Playa Linda for 24 years. Accommodations are premium, and the staff can not be topped. It is one of the best locations on the island.

The Playa Linda is a great resort centrally located on Palm Beach. There great eateries on the campus and close by. You can walk to many places, grab a taxi or take the city bus. Friendly staff that are so helpful!

Playa Linda is in the heart of Palm beach and has everything that you would need at your fingertips. The property is clean and offers an adult pool and regular pool, fitness center, spa, palapas/chickees on the beach and so much more. They have a convenient store out front so you can buy what you need for your trip or a forgotten item there. The rooms have stoves and fridges so take your family and place a delivery order from the local market. The front desk is super helpful and all staff are friendly and ready to help you out with whatever you may need. I could talk for days about PL, it’s location and offerings are second to none!

Went to the spa. Massages were awesome and very attentive. Must try it. Check the aruba night life book for a coupon. We'll worth it

They make half of the hotel switch rooms on Sunday as they are timeshare resort and not a proper resort. Room switch is a full check out at 11am and check in again at 4pm. Imagine this with two kids ?! Room keys turn off and you can not access anything anymore. Overall outdated and reception is extremely rude. Feels like we are visiting her dad’s house for free. Would not recommend it to anyone. The only reason we booked it is the location and a 1 bedroom room (outdated)

I'm rating it high based on our experience there, which was wonderful. If I had to rate it based on their time share sales reps it would be zeroes across the board. Pretentious and stuck up beyond belief. I have to thank them though, because without them I wouldnt have invested in the Marriot, whose sales reps were amazing. So thank you nasty Playa Linda sales team!

Our first visit here, and we already have 2 additional weeks for 2024! The customer service experience is impeccable the moment your door is opened for you. They pay attention to detail. The cleanliness is exactly what you would expect at a luxury resort. The rooms are incredible. We stayed with my aunt in her timeshare, which has 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. It comes with a full-size kitchen and everything you need to cook. It also has a good size living room. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds with a bureau for each bed. Lots of closet space, so there is no need to live out of your bag. There is a 2nd full-size bathroom as well. The entrance/exits one is from inside the resort (spend the 5.00 and get the wristband that you can wear in the water). Inside the room, you have 2 outside entrances like literally open the door, hello ocean! We learned so much our week here. For example, if you want a specific location to be yours, you need to be there at 4:30 am. The beach staff and security are incredible. They will get your chairs for you. They provide you with beach towels, but make sure you return them. The beach is spotless. The water is clear. Also, bring a water bottle and refill it at any station you see or back in your room. Save your money because the water tastes great! They have outside showers, places to wash your flip flops and feet off. You can order food to be delivered to your chickee that allows you to be under the shelter from the sun, rain, or whatever! They have a designated adults only pool and hot tub. The other pool has a beautiful waterfall and chairs in a section where you can lay in a few inches of water. They have bingo every day at 1 pm. It's fun, and the payouts are decent. The gym gets the job done, especially when you don't want to feel like a failure! They have a tranquil spa. Honestly, we can't say a single negative thing. You should check it out!

Nicole, our server at Azzurro was excellent. Very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Pasta in the cheese wheel was also excellent. Tender veal. We always have at least one dinner at Azzurro.

It's a timeshare place so not all rooms are the same by any means. It's a good place though in a good location for those that want the resort experience

I didn't stay here but I came here to the beach and partied with some people I met out at one of the bars. Outside of here is BEAUTIFUL! They have great beach and pools. And I hear it's a great place to get a massage by one of the locals!

Eagle beach was a great experience! Make sure you have cash because you need it to rent out the umbrellas and chairs. Highly recommended as the sun in Aruba is more intense. The water is cold at first but your body will get used to it quickly. You can see some marine life if you bring/rent googles. There is a little bit that serves food and drinks they accept cards and cash.

Posting this mid-vacation with my hope that management looks at media in real-time (beyond my phone calls to the front desk). Nice basic facilities located in an area with a lot of restaurants and stores catering to tourism. Facility is a bit dated but accommodating. Shortfalls that drive my review/ratings are based on management. It’s the height of the holiday season and the management has construction going on that could have been put off until after the holidays. It starts at 8 or 9am right outside my window and wakes me up every morning. Also, the food service is really not good as places run out of food by 2pm, lines are long and poorly managed, etc. (see attached pics). I have to leave the resort to get a decent meal - which really isn’t great. Stuff that is easily fixable, but leaves me wondering why it’s happening in the first place. This place is ok but significantly adjust your bar and expectations considerably - and if you have any higher-bar expectations for your vacation, go to the nearby Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott, Riu, etc.

Nice place and well situated. Have not stayed here but I’ve been through the lobby areas. It’s not perfectly picturesque and private along the front like many hotels due to the front being smaller but the hotel has its benefits

So we are not from Aruba but we were told on our tour that all beaches were public. We ended up going to this beach that had chairs and lounge chairs on the beach sand. There was no sign of renting the chairs so we decided to take a few chairs that were sitting under a palm tree. We went to the water and when we came back, a security guard told us we had to get our s**t and leave. He was extremely rude to us and it was because initially he asked us if we were staying at a hotel and we said yes. We misunderstood and he actually was saying if we were staying at that specific hotel. After we said yes, he called us a liar and told us we had to leave immediately. We got into it with words and had alot of people staring at us. It was so embarrassing and unprofessional. I wish we knew his name. This was a group trip of 4 and he made our experience at the beach so bad. Never going to Playa Linda ever because of him !!!!

I've been at Playa Linda for over 20 years, my parents years before than. If you want a 5-star hotel. Don't come here. If you want a great facility that tries very hard for their members, a place where you come the same time each year, make friends, know the staff, have a great beach and great facilities around it...this is your place. Sometimes there is construction...because they are always improving and maintaining. Yes, beach is public, chickees are for playa Linda. Restaurants are renters, not part of playa Linda, but they have been awesome for years.

We went there during their happy hour. I got a fish sandwich and a few slushies...mango & passion fruit! Beautiful ocean view while eating!

Couldn't pick a better location on the beach! Great views, updated & clean facilities, beautiful pools, friendly staff & great service. The rooms are all suites with kitchens. My family and I love staying here!

We stayed here for one night as we had booked somewhere else, but found a better deal to fly in a day earlier. The room was decent, but the best feature was the rain fall shower after a long flight. Plenty of food and shopping choices as the main strip is just outside the front entrance.

We were really happy when this resort came up as a match for a one week stay here through a RCI exchange. We have stayed two times at the Costa Linda Aruba resort which is nice but it is more isolated and quiet and the rooms could use an update. But here there are so many restaurants right on site and all around the resort, all day happy hours, water sports and tours and beautifully updated rooms!!

Located on the best spot of the island with the softest sand. Bell hop guys are friendly and very helpful. Rooms are updated with stove tops, refrigerator, microwave, and all have a balcony. They have bingo 6 days a week and other resort activities as well as an kids club. We will be back!!

Beautiful resort with all amenities right at your fingertips. Excellent location on Palm beach, great beach area with multiple bars and food options within arms reach. Pools are small and you will have to be up at the crack of dawn to get a spot by the pool or a prime palapa on the beach (good luck). The resort was nice and can't beat the location just an fyi this resort is loaded with seniors not so much for families with kids or younger couples.

it is very nice here, the pool is perfect and it’s very big and it so cool how you just walk out side and you are right next to the beach, i would recommend this resort to anyone that is coming to Aruba!!!

My family and I love the playa Linda. It’s beautiful, relaxing, and the staff are so friendly. Especially Kurt, on the beach. He greets everyone as “Superstar!!” And he always has a smile on :))

I love everything about this resort!! You need to stop by and see Reah at the Avenue Bar. She makes the best Bloody Mary...it's like having lunch !!!

As soon as you enter the room you feel the humidity and the smell, very uncomfortable. This place is very cheap and the worst part is the noise really early in the morning from the service people pushing the big trash can. I do no recommend this place. Very unsatisfied.

  • 5/5 Mark D. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms are clean and spacious. They could use some updating but are well kept. The property is always taken care of and clean with beautiful tropical landscaping. The location is perfect for walking to stores and restaurants. We have been here three years in a row and look forward to returning.
