I order 6 tacos and pay 31.34 dollar what a waste of money end up throwing the food to the garbage. Food is not even cook. THE ALPASTOR MEAT IS NESTY IS NOT EVEN COOK IS LIKE THEY BOIL THE MEAT. ASADA IS EVEN WORSE . NOT A GOOD PLACE TO EAT. NOOOO BUENOOO.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant so far. From the warm homemade thin crispy tortilla chips, the salsa was so fresh tasting and flavorful. I ordered the steak tacos, the meat was perfect with the best flavor I had ever tasted. The warm churro that he gave me just put the cherry on top of the whole meal. I only wished I lived closer to be able to visit more often.

Stake was disgusting, to much salt and spices, tasted like an very old meet. Definitely not coming back there again.

My husband and I have been going here for years. In recent months the food has gone way down in quality and up in price, but we still went because we liked the food and it’s close to home. However, tonight (01/19/2023) was the straw that broke the camels back. There was a full LEAF in my taco. Not a lettuce leaf, an outdoor leaf from a tree. I bit into my chicken taco and it tasted crunchy and grainy. I also felt a strange texture. To my surprise and horror, I noticed a big brownish green leaf IN my taco. I feel absolutely disgusted. We spent over $50 on food, and I couldn’t even enjoy it due to a serious food safety problem that seems to be a growing issue with this restaurant. So gross.

I am very particular about my burritos and this place exceeded my expectations! The beans:rice:lettuce ratio was spot on, the burrito was not overly stuffed with rice or lettuce, there was a hefty amount of beans. The burrito itself was a big portion size. I was able to customize the garden burrito by making it fajita style veggies instead of fresh (veggies included are: broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, onion, peppers). Great customer service and great food!

Was there yesterday and there were ants in my drink!! Don't know if it was from their soda machine, ice, or cups... But that ruined my entire experience at this location. The chicken tacos were horrible also. The meat looked fake, and tasted bad. I've been to other "El Famous Burrito" locations before, but this location is giving them a bad name.... SMH.

Had lunch here today it was pretty tasty staff was friendly!! Will be coming back

Not good at all…Food was overpriced and bland. Almost $17 for a steak burrito dinner that was all lettuce and beans. The little bit of meat that was inside tasted like nothing, same with the rice and beans, very disappointing.

Just had a steak burrito charged me 15 dollars for a steak burrito and a jarrito barely any steak on burrito lol I ordered xtomato sour cream avocado I still wanted my steak on the burrito a joke was better years ago when it was in summit

Absolutely delicious food. Very fresh and warm. It was my first time ordering from them on Uber eats, and I will definitely reorder. Our meals were tasty, warm, and quality food. Not many good authentic Mexican restaurants in the suburbs. This one is hit!

Love this location!! Nicest staff. Very clean. Always fast, fresh, and friendly. I usually call my order in, then pickup to eat at home. Love their shrimp tacos. Grilled not battered and deep fried. We also love the steak anything. Tacos, burrito, soap. Can’t go wrong. Atmosphere is pick up counter and a few tables. Not fine dining but much nicer than other fast food places.

Beware if you ever order through a food app such as DoorDash. I ordered through the app for pickup and then they charged me at pickup. Since he said I needed to pay to get my food, I obliged but then double checked I was not charged on DoorDash but I was. I called them and she said she would refund me, but 60 days later and no refund. Never going back when people lie to me. It takes two seconds to refund a customer who paid twice. Don’t order from here. Edit: After I posted here and my husband posted a Yelp review, I was finally refunded two months later.

Ok, I give 5 stars bc I love the food. But, when there’s delivery orders PLEASE make sure the orders are accurate and you put plastic wrap around the soups so the lid doesn’t pop off. I pay extra for cheese and sour cream- they don’t ever add it! I pay money for the menudo and the lid pops off and spills all over the place. They don’t give the green sauce for the tacos or the other sides that says is included with the food. Please take better care of the orders. I know mistakes happen and I empathize with that, but this is a constant mistake that is always overlooked when we order delivery. The food is always amazing, it’s always very hot and amazing, it’s just those important details that are always overlooked. Thank you and your team for the amazing food.

Had been to a different El Famous Burrito location but sadly here the Steak Nacho Platter tastes like it was roast beef. You only get one chance to give a first impression.

My wife and I ordered via DoorDash for pickup and when we got there the restaurant said they didn't have our order so she paid on another card. Restaurant ended up getting paid on both charges and refuses to refund either. We are working to resolve this through our credit card companies but the charges do not match due to DoorDash fees. With so many other options for standard Mexican food in the area I would avoid ordering at this location.

The burrito was average at best. The cheese wasn’t melted . It wasn’t hot but only warm. It just wasn’t it for $12. I ate in the store right away.

They have really great food like really good but nasty looks and nasty attitudes not black peopleew friendly at all. Disappointed !

Best burritos in town. Highly recommended staff was great. Owners always very involved, this is something you do not see that often.

I order vegetarian burrito and I add Littel bit fresh jalapeño and cook pizza to much no buddy can’t eat

My enchiladas were burnt on the bottom. I’ve been coming here for years, but lately the quality‘s been slacking. Will be going to another Mexican restaurant down the street from going forward

I paid $24 for a steak/lengua burrito and one pork tamale. The Burrito did not even have steak in it and was just filled up with beans and minimal meat. One of the worst burritos I've had and very very overpriced. El Mezcal just down the road is WAY better and WAY better priced.

This place is the best place we had out here! My fiancé and I been living out here for 3 years constantly trying New Mexican spots and we can never find anything like the city food. But this place is definitely a 10! During the week we tried there asada tacos and carnita tacos had such great flavor! The women who was at the register was so nice and helpful. We came back on the weekend for menudo and carnitas it was a hit! Menudo great flavor and SPICY just like how we like it (I only would like if they add hominy in it) other than that carnitas were so good full of flavor and not dried! We would definitely be back here! Thank you for the great service and food.

The food a little pricey but it was absolutely delicious. It took them a while to prepare it but it was well worth the wait.

Chips were the greasy I've ever seen And the side of refried beans were so runny and the chicken and pork tacos the meat was over cooked and very dry what a waste of $23.27 Will not go back and will make sure I Tell everyone. I haven't been there for awhile since Covid-19 but I will never go back it used to be a very good place.

Lady at the counter need an attitude adjustment- she's unpleasant and displayed dry attitude. Asked how much longer it would it take for an order and her response, "i don't know" (in an annoying manner) the restaurant is understaffed there's 1 cook and the order taker who's clearly overwhelmed! Take my advice and get your Mexican food at nearby businesses who know how to trear customers with kindness!😏

The food was pretty good. It wasn’t busy and they were quick with our order. They have a decent variety and they also sell ice cream/frozen treats. Overall good experience nothing stuck out (good or bad).
