Great place to take your dogs for a walk with lots of open ground for a run about. Nice wood area full of wild life and the odd deer if your lucky. Can be abit muddy in the winter/spring so boots are a must that time of year. Parking can also be hard as its just off road and it's first come first serve.

Lovely wood for a walk but on a hillside so expect a good walk up and down a hill! Beautiful views over Loughborough once out of the wood.

A beautiful part of Charnwood....especially when the bluebells are out. Steep at the bottom though.

A regular place I use to walk dogs. Close to Beacon Hill but without the hustle and bustle. Beautiful views with benches situated at the top, but not suitable for those with mobility issues or young children due to the steep incline. Field at the top which leads down to woodland and a stream at the bottom which connects onto the permissive path that runs to Woodhouse Lane and the Outwoods. Very pretty and worth a visit if you don’t mind hills.
