Jimmys review must have been about another shop. Having known the owner since the day it opened not one animal has ever died due to lack of care while in that shop, FACT. Out of the 12 to 15 Chameleons sold there EVER in about 25 years only one has died while in there, just ONE not the large number that apparently Jimmy has seen come in and die, this is absolutely untrue. And that was in the last week, one that had only been in there about 2 weeks and died through no known cause, sometimes they just do, most certainly not caused by the lack of care. The enclosure they are kept in is temporary, it is ALWAYS clearly explained to anyone who has ever bought one that it is not suitable for them to live in permanently and the much larger one, of which there is a picture on the front of the enclosure with the price on, is the one they should have, these are NOT sold in the tank they are on display in, nor are Bearded Dragons. No one in that shop is aware of anyone ever giving any advice as to the care of a Chameleon let alone repeatedly as is claimed, or for any other animal for that matter.

This shop is local and has been run by the same man for many, many years. It's a fantastic shop which sells everything you need for your pets. He doesn't rip you off and he is helpful with all your needs. This is a shop I always go to for my straw and hay as it's proper stuff, not processed and packed into tight little bales, and for all other stuff. A lovely shop which I love supporting. Great job serving the community.

Probably the best pet shop I have ever been to. A massive thank you to Harvey and James. Harvey is a honest, polite and a very helpful person. He was very patient with me as I was so indecisive and he gave me a lot of info regarding certain toys, food and bedding. I probably spent a good 45-60 minutes in the shop and I will definitely be back. Would recommend Pets Pantry to everyone. Thanks Harvey and James for everything- and Harvey I hope you enjoy your lil grey hammy as much as I love my little Loaf.

I purchased a beautiful hamster from this pet shop, he is so friendly with my little one after only being home 1 day, he sits and looks at us. he is the best. the man and young lady are so friendly and helpful. even with a un decisive child they was so patient! the best experience ever. my nan recommended this pet shop and as a child I remember handling hamsters from this shop and they was the best then, nothing has changed 20 years later. highly recommend this lovely shop. they give the best advice and show they truly care about their pets and customers. I will be getting a tank for him so he can burrow and have more space :)

Brilliant little shop seconds from the high street. Very friendly staff and owner. Had a problem with my fish and one very knowledgeable young lady helped to fix the issue. Also had to order in some items they didn't stock in the shop and picked them up 2 days later. Very reasonable prices too!

I'm a Syrian hamster enthusiast, and have bought several wonderful, hand-tame Syrians from Simon. I always feel relaxed in the shop, and enjoy visiting. The hamsters I have had from him are wonderful.
