The restaurant is mostly destined to tourists, with service in English, if you wish. We ordered a standard matsuzaka beef course menu, where we can taste 3 different parts. It is accompanied by rice and Japanese tradicional side dishes. The meal is followed by a delicious Yuzu ice cream. Needless to say, the beef is really tasty, and you can also taste it with the restaurant’s original seasoning. It costs 3800¥ per person, and service is polite and good.

Get the garlic rice, it's absolutely delicious and gives the beef a run for the most tasty item. Obviously the beef is why you're there, we had the premium set menu for 2 and I'd definitely recommend (as long as you also get the garlic rice). You get enough meat to fill you up without being stuffed, and you get to try a range of cuts and appreciate the difference in leanness and flavour. It's clearly set up to cater for tourists (menu in English first and staff with excellent English) and the service was excellent. The booths you sit in are dimly lit and cosy, there isn't any natural light but it's a great ambiance.

This is one of the best spots for Yakinuku in Osaka. Order the Chateaubriand for the best cut you can grill. The service and accompaniments were excellent and the rice dish in the end was phenomenal. A must try.

There are 3 famous beef in Japan, that you must try, Matsuzaka, Kobe, and and Hida beef. Yakiniku provides Matsuzaka beef BBQ meal. If you are not sure whether you like it or not, I will recommend you to take their lunch set which is relatively more affordable. Inside the restaurant, there are small cabin, size of which is just enough for 4 persons sitting closely but more privacy in a small area. The waiter is quite smart to serve is just at the right moment. A lunch set of Matsusaka beef has about 6 pieces with regular spreading fat. The set will provide you to refill the rice and soup for one more time. The beef is full of fatty fragrance and seems to melt in your mouth. For people like eating beef, it is super nice. Personally I think it is too much oil. Don't forget to order ox tongue. That is soft and tasty. Ox stomach is not recommended as it is hard to chew.

A Great Lunch Experience I booked two weeks in advance. We were arranged into 2nd floor which was more quiet & better for us to enjoy the meals. We came from HK & English was prepared. Apart from that, a fluent English waitress serving was highly appreciated. We ordered two sets of lunch plus three dishes of different parts of beef. All dishes were delicious & very good taste. We could feel how professional of chefs. Although most the them were our BBQ, the sauces were remarkable. The waitress was professional too. He introduced every dish, how to eat & how long to BBQ. We enjoyed very much.

We did the set menu (I think it was called the premium set menu) which was super delicious and the right amount of food for 2 people. The staff were super respectful and diligent and spoke English. Really enjoyed the whole experience, interestingly they kind of enclose you into your table area with sliding doors. The vent for the smoke is within the bbq so you don’t smell the meat on your clothes afterwards. It was easy to book on table check. Would highly recommend. We accidentally also went to the sister restaurant on the map so make sure to search the restaurant carefully but the staff at the other restaurant were kind enough to walk us ALL the way to the restaurant we booked which was super lovely of them.

A must-go spot serving delicious Matsusaka Beef. Choose between different sets if you’d like a sampler of their meats or order specific cuts that you prefer ala carte. Do try their steak nigiri and garlic rice as well. Accepts credit cards.

Very very good food. This is some of the best beef you'll ever have. The staff and friendly and prompt. Highly recommend this place. A nice bonus: the exhaust system here is one of the best I've experienced. Your clothes hardly smell like food after.

such a great experience for great value! highly recommend the set to try all cuts and other dishes. from the dishes: the aburi nigiri and garlic rice are highlights, would definitely get again! from the meats: really enjoyed the short plate, rib-eye and sirloin the most. would skip the round (too chewy) banchan was delicious too and the warabamochi at the end was perfect.

Excellent cuts of meat and very warm and professional service from the waiters. Interior vibe is cosy and comfortable though limited seating so coming early or pre booking is advisable.

I came by with friends who recommended this place. While the price is generally on the higher end, the taste and texture of the beef cuts here justify the price. The staff here can speak English and briefed us on the difference between the different set options. It was quite insightful but there was also way too much information. We got the Omakase (¥9500), which is 6 cuts of beef chosen by the chef. Each cut was so tender and had a melt in the mouth texture. The staff were so attentive and offered to change the grill at one point in time. You can also get the garlic fried rice which is fragrant.

We ordered the second premium set and it was definitely worth it. We ordered yuzu sake to accompany our meal and it was devine, so I ordered another one. The staff are friendly and able to speak English. They recommended how to cook each piece of meat and how best to eat it. We were too busy eating to remember to take photos. Great experience overall and would definitely return!

Our first time to visit this branch, the other two branches didn’t open during lunchtime. We love this branch as there were seating on ground floor, suitable for my mom who had bad knees. The beef were so good and tender. Expensive but worth it! We ordered beef set but it was too much for 2 person so when we returned we ordered a la carte. However, beef set was a great choice for tasting different kind of beef. Ox tongue was tender and mouthful. Fried rice was so tasty. The waitress mixed for us. Rice was succulent but a bit sticky, some were crunchy there were many flavors and texture in a bite. Kimchi was fresh and spicy, a good accompany to the beef.

We had such an amazing time here! We chose this place to celebrate our engagement and it exceeded our expectations and even the chef himself came to congratulate us with a small bottle of japanese sake. The service was exceptional, they have an international staff that guided us through the menu and explained everything. We chose the highest set that includes a selection of the best beef cuts, garlic rice, veggies and some other small side dishes and were fully satisfied at the end of the evening. The meat is just so delicious and melts in your mouth! The best dinner of our stay in Japan!

I was very impressed with the quality of meats provided for the chefs omakase set (20,000 yen). The meat was very rich and tender. But I suggest ordering another side of veggie or rice of some sort to balance your meal. We were not entirely full after the course + a garlic fried rice. If you enjoy more variety, I would suggest the other set menu courses offered here.

Waygu beef was one of the things we wanted to try on the trip. With Resturant specializing in Matsusaka waygu beef we had to give it a go. Since it was our first time we tried the platinum and premium set course (difference with platinum had an extra course of steak) and iy was outstanding. Features variety of different cuts of Matsusaka beef and different marinate - they bring the plates in order the Resturant believe it should be serve - but basically it comes with increasing level of tenderness and taste. All were delicious. Our favorites were the Yakishabu (Loin-ribeye) and Sukiyaki slide (Sirloin Steak) both were butter like melt in your mouth tender with full flavors - incredible. Highly recommend it

It was my first time trying Matsukaya beef only available in Japan. It was delicious, and foremost, most of the servers were foreigners fluent in English, which made overall experience more pleasant. We ordered 3 set menus, consisted of different cuts of beef & side dishes and additional order of stone bowl rice.

The moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, which only adds to the anticipation of the delicious meal ahead. This place isn't exactly cheap though. In fact, it's quite pricey. 💸 the meat is very juicy and the quality is fantastic! One piece of advice: don't come here with an empty stomach unless you have a small appetite. If you're like me and have a big appetite, make sure you eat something light beforehand, so you can fully appreciate the rich and savory flavors without breaking the bank. 😅

We booked in advance and ordered the butcher’s set (19k for 2 pax ~ 420g) which was perfect. The different cuts and weight age were just nice for us, also topped up with some cabbage , soup and rice. Service here was a delight and price reasonable for its quality. My third time here and also recommended a lot of my friends since. 👍🏻

If not for the staff from another branch i would give it a one.. the beef itself is alright but the portion is too little, we ordered 2 sets of starter course..they put together 4 pieces of meat in one plate, we thought it was for one person.. no.. it was for 2! altogether we get 16 pcs of meats for 2 sets.. dont know if its standard or what but i would not recemmend for those who want to fill your stomach.. we ordered beef tongue and etc.. but they didnt come.. and the food on course had been changed without notifying.. would not recommend..

One of the best beef in Osaka, staffs are very friendly and very patient to answer all the questions. They also provide English menu. The set meal strongly recommend to anyone who want to try different parts of the beef, and it melts into your mouth. The hot pot stone garlic beef rice is the hidden star, it gives a perfect ending. Really worthy the money.

Friendly waitress ! English friendly place! They serve nice marbling matsusaka beef and the waitress explained its origin and the different parts of beef in detail and suggest according to your likings ! But can be quite pricey though. Overall nice ambience , great food ! Not forgetting the garlic rice it’s exceptionally good !

We tried the Matsusaka Beef Dx platter, 13800 yen for two (roughly 360g total), and called ahead on the same day to book. As I'm only giving 3 stars, this is a detailed review. Pros: - Booking over the phone was easy - The beef is truly delicious - (If you ask for help) The staff can be super helpful and informative and describe each cut of beef, as well as demonstrate cooking a slice for you - Little coat closet in the wall beside every table, to protect your clothes from grill smoke. - 180g of matsusaka beef was more than enough for me. The richness really fills you up! Cons: - WARNING: Smoking is allowed in this restaurant. Apparently the 1st and 3rd floors are smoke free, and the 2nd floor allows smokers. I wasn't informed during booking, and it was a horrible surprise when halfway through the meal a couple sat at the booth beside us and lit up their cigarettes. The cigarette stink was overpowering. On the plus side, staff were very accommodating when we asked to be moved though it was lucky there was another table available to move to. The couple looked like they went through about 3 cigs each before we were moved. - During the move, staff moved our original sauce trays but threw away my dish of some vegetables I had grilled and not yet eaten. On the plus side they were quite apologetic when I asked about it and replaced with some raw vegetables, unfortunately I had to cook them again. - Some of the staff seem to be run off their feet in comparison to others, and it seems like they don't communicate with each other. Our first waiter was quite detailed in explaining the menu options when said it was our first time here, but the waiter who served the meat platter basically just put it on the table and tried to rush off. When we asked for some advice on the best way to prepare the different cuts, he told us to cook each piece for 15 seconds either side, and then quickly ran way - didn't explain the different cuts, or the big lump of beef fat sitting on the table, or the sauces. Note: Big lump of fat is for oiling up your grill before putting on the meat. - The new booth we were moved to away from smokers was super chilly and cold. We should have just called staff to mention, but we felt a bit guilty about inconveniencing the staff any further after the move so I just warmed up over the grill. Turns out, the heater hadn't been switched on. A waitress popped in about 15 minutes before we finished to turn the heater on, and asked if we were cold. She seemed amused when I said yeah, pretty cold. - The beef slices seemed quite inconsistent within the same type of cut; different marbling pattern, colouring etc - The beef slices were uneven, with a couple pieces perfectly uniform thickness and some terribly uneven, like a misshapen wedge. It makes it quite difficult to cook properly, and the uneven pieces end up slightly too raw on one corner, and slightly too done on the other. Favourite cut: The udesankaku, "lean shoulder". Despite being "lean" these slices were still super marbeled and cooked excellently! Overall, I'm not sure I'd recommend this place. Matsusaka beef is worth trying, but probably try it at a different restaurant if you can find one with a better level of service for the price. Otherwise if you book here, make sure to get a non-smoking floor!

Best beef I ever had. You can only find Matsusaka beef in Japan so if you enjoy premium beef with high fat, this is a must. We ordered the lunch set for two persons which came with six different types of meat (lean and marbled) and some vegetables (corn and eggplant) Even the lean meat tasted amazingly good! You have to grill the meat on your own so be very careful not to overcook it! Always oil the meat with the fats provided before grilling. The seasoning provided (soy sauce, sweet sauce, salt with pepper, wasabi) helps to enhance the flavour of the meat. The best is to eat it with soy sauce + some wasabi, or salt/pepper. The garlic fried rice is a must! It’s cooked with beef fats and come with some pork/bacon. The best garlic fried rice we have tried in Japan. Highly recommended. Please make a reservation if you do not want to queue for hours!

I made a reservation for this outlet but Google map bring me to another old outlet. But they are very nice to send a staff to show us the way to this outlet. We book for 2 person, they gave us a table in a private small room. Enough to fit myself and wife into the place, my wife and I like the deco. Dark and chill place. The waiter can speak Chinese and a little English, she also gave us the English menu. Ordering a 2 person beef set and 1 orange sake. My wife and I love the beef so much. Juices and tender. Will come back next time again. I just find that the price is abit expensive. Our meal was around 15000 yen.

Found this place online, price was about SGD$70 per pax for the course meal we choose which entitled salad, one piece of beef sushi, the platter to share for 2 and garlic stone rice. Taste was only okay for the beef, the stone rice was nice and fragrant, service thou was awesome, they spoke English and you were attended to like a king.

Japanese BBQ with ala cart and menu set meat offerings. Service was very good and the food was solid. All the beef we had was very good, but the garlic rice a delightful surprise. Would recommended this place for a 1 to 2 hour experience. And for any meat lover! Call ahead for reservations. Food: * * * * * Service: * * * * * Value: * * * Atmosphere: * * * * *
