Got here at 8pm on 1/21 and immediately got kicked out. Only one person was working and he asked if we had a reservation. He refused to seat us after we said no. It’s very frustrating that they forget that people need to spend time and money just to get there. There was no mention of the need for a reservation anywhere online or in the restaurant. For them to use reservations against uninformed customers was unreasonable and unfair. Doubt that I would ever come back to a restaurant that outright doesn’t appreciate customers.

Did some research on good vegetarian options near Dotonbori and this place came up as a recommendation. Committed to the 25 minute walk from our hotel and I'm so pleased we did! Loads of veggie and vegan choices for my daughter and I, meat options for the boys. Low-key and relaxed vibe with one lovely man running the place.

Very tasty vegetarian options and really good price. It was nice to have an English menu for once :) the place is cozy and the owner is very friendly!

Don’t come here. I got turned away on Jan 21 due to no reservation. Literally took an hour train to get here just to be refused. Nowhere mentioned that you need a reservation to dine in. Would never return.

This is a little hidden place to get some great vegetarian food. I tried the egg and tomato sour noodles and it was heavenly 😋 Coupled with his handmade dim sum and spring roll. You should not miss this opportunity to taste them. I will definitely dropped by again. Would recommend 10/10 hands down

Quite literally the best restaurant I have ever been to in my life. I went 5 years ago with my friend and we just found it again online and needed to write a review because the chef there is the loveliest person, and is extremely talented. Very intimate dining experience, you do not want to miss! Five HUNDRED stars <3

Delicious vegetarian dinner in a city where finding veggie food is so hard - we had such a feast with the tomato and egg soup, tan tan noodles, gyoza and vegetable fried rice. All were delicious and in a lovely setting too. Thank you for making our last night in Japan special!

Great service. Love the one person looking after the shop. So fast and efficient, food was extremely homey and delicious. Great vegetarian food too . Wish they open lunch too :)

Terrible. Dont waste your time with this place. Out of 5 visits I was only able to dine 2 times. The hours are sporadic and once I walked 2 miles from the train station arrived at 830pm the place was lively full of customer when the owner said SORRY CLOSED. Total waste of effort. Stay away.

Best vegetarian Chinese food ive ever had. Incredible well balanced flavors for the mapo tofu & dried tofu cabbage miso stir fry. The owner said cash only at the end of the meal, just FYI!

It was a very lovely restaurant owned by a very sweet man. We went without a reservation so we needed to wait for about ten minutes. The wait was worth it, we‘ve experienced very good service and food! Would definitely visit again:)

Was genuinely looking forward this place. Came at 8pm on Saturday and was turned away because the place was full. There seemed to be an empty table but didn’t know we needed reservations. A bit disappointing to know that it closes at 10pm and even 8 pm is not early enough to be able to eat. So if you want to come here, try to see if you can get a reservation or risk getting turned away.

Incredible vegetarian and vegan food! I had the Tan Tan sesame noodles with a side of the fried dumplings and they were delicious. The owner is friendly and welcoming :) I’d highly recommend coming here

They made very delicious egg and tomato sour soup. If you are stopping by this area and looking for a vegetarian meal. This is the place to eat. Strongly recommended!! 😋😋😋

Every thing on the table was well loved - the spiced salt that comes with the mapo tofu was especially so - it goes well with everything we ordered. More importantly, service was impeccable. Dinner was a pleasure for all (vegetarian and not)
