Let's start by saying the service was amazing. Hard working ladies who definitely were attentive! No complaints there. But the negative..... 1. The french fries were undercooked and soggy. Never have I ever had a bite of french fries after a couple of drinks and thought these are bad. Immediately had to ask for salt and vinegar and even that didn't save them 2. Mozzarella sticks were cold and stale on the inside, they left much to be desired. Tasted like they'd been under a hear lamp for hours. 3. Wings were meh. Heaven and hot sauce was good but definitely better options throughout Oshawa. They were served to us luke warm. 4. T.v's are small and scattered... Is this a sports pub ?!? 5. Call me bias but they totally took the heart and soul out of the Tartan. I was looking forward to seeing a totally revamped place ... But they kept the layout the same, raised the ceilings and painted all the old wood an awful grey to appear modern.... This place doesn't feel like a pub or a restaurant or a sports bar... It's identity is certainly lost and so is thier quality of food. 6. The lights were bright at 11:00 pm.. there was ZERO ambiance. This place used to be such a vibe, all they had to do was re open the doors and they some how ruined it Sorry Bullock's.... But this experience has certainly been bullocks.

Gotta say our server Olivia was great. The wings are OK but the medium sauce could use some flavour as it was pretty bland. Be advised if you sit on the east side in the dining room there is a grooming place next-door and all you get is dogs barking constantly which is very annoying.

This was an amazing place. Enjoyed the food alot and the staff was amazing. 😊 and its right next to LCBO 😆

Just had dinner BollocksPub & Kitchen Oshawa with my parents. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food. I had the Cajun Chicken Linguine, my mom had the Chicken parm, and my dad had the stir fry. I tried the chicken parm too and it was delicious. Our server was lovely too. I think her name is Madison. I used to go here a lot when I was in my 20s and it was the Tartan. I was so happy to see how busy it was and the face lift that it got. We'll definitely be back soon.

It's a pub. It's a good pub. Friends meet here. They enjoy food, drinks. Some are reminiscing about the past. Some are planning the next good thing to do. No one is having a bad time.

Food is good, but it's typical Canadian restaurant food. From the name of the place I was expecting more British or Scottish pub offerings. The restaurant was understaffed when we were there. Our server was doing her best but was so stretched she was forgetting things and couldn't tend to everyone's needs properly. Not her fault. The atmosphere is what was lacking the most. This is not a cosy, welcoming pub. It is modern and clean, but almost sterile, and from the decor looks like it could be a chain restaurant. Maybe the problem is the name promising a British pub when it's really just a regular North American style restaurant.

New owners are similar to the rest of restaurant business. Poor quality food products at high quality prices. The staff seem to be scraped from the bottom of the serving industry apart from maybe two of them. Head bar tender at the front is very rude for legitimately no reason. You almost feel like your bothering her to pay for the drinks you ordered (Kali). Kitchen staff is decent. Servers do seem to be highly intoxicated through the night the few times I’ve been there. Management clearly doesn’t have a tight grip of on the job drinking in this establishment. Excited to see what new restaurant comes after this one! Recommend a job fair and hiring new staff! Also heard staff making inappropriate slurs about customers.

Delicious! We came with a party of 10 (babies and adults) the food was so yummy, and everything came out at the same time so nobody was waiting to eat. Drinks were never empty and the service was very welcoming! 100% would recommend to a friend.

Great place to go if you wanna hear live people sing and bring your girl or boy out for a good night! Just show up earlier or reserve a table for the night before you show up every weekend I go it's packed, honestly 5 outta 5 on the bar great new bar in Oshawa!

Silly management rules ruin the experience, that and the dull gray walls.. no atmosphere left at all. Twice I have tried to order the daily special only to be informed of some dumb rule that won't allow it. Wing day starts at 4pm and that part of the notice is buried by the frame. I was here at 315 and planned on staying past 4pm, but have paid for a beer and am leaving at 3:50. What a joke. On the flip side , good wings, Guinness and Caesar salad when I can actually order them. Maybe will return, but at this point I'm too annoyed to try.

Cutest pub ever! Great atmosphere and very clean. Was recommended the butter chicken mac and cheese by my lovely server Shannon and it was out of this world! My boyfriend had the southwest burger, which was also a hit. Definitely recommend this place for great eats, great service, and a chill atmosphere.

Love it here, don't come alot but service is awesome. Sherri , Maddison, Blaine and kali are always nice and treat me very well . No complaints it's a good spot to have a quick bite watch a game and chill.

Great place for a quick bite. Watch sports, or you can go on the back and experience karaoke night on Saturdays, live music on Thursdays, and so much more. Have not tried the food yet, but I had one sangria and tasted more like soda than anything. :/.

Great lunch spot get the hail Mary beef dip or the wings with the frites and dill sauce. Won't be disappointed! One of the few pubs with great coffee! And fun on a Sunday night.

My wife and I ordered nachos in July 23, came Luke warm to room temperature. They used real cheese with cheese whizz. Because we were hungry we did eat less than half, if they were good and we couldn't eat them all we would get a takeout box. We didn't. Waitress was great, offered to not charge us but I said don't worry about it. The table beside us even complained about there wings and I've had wings there before and they were good. We asked the waitress if they had a new cook, she replied no same cook. I guess it was a bad cook day. Don't order the nachos !! I give it 2 stars because of the waitress

Came here a while ago withy boyfriend and were very surprised to see how large the portions were, we shared the spinach dip and had lots left over for later, also brought half of our mains as well! Great food and great portions, will be coming back!

Great food! And even better staff. Shout out to the bartender, Chris Bird. He had an excellent knowledge of spice level of wing sauces. He took an order from our big group (10 people) by memory, and everyone's food came out perfectly.

I have been many times and tried lots of meals on the menu (burgers, wings, pizza, club sandwich, wraps, etc.) I have yet to find anything I like. The food does not look appetizing, and the prices are outrageous! (Most meals are $20 and then if you want anything other than fries it's an upcharge). The only thing I would recommend is the spinach dip, which is the only item I will get in the future.

I haven't had much food here so all I can really say is the wings are average at best. But the bartenders are always fantastic. My wife and I have been a few weekend nights recently and we always have a good time.

Food was ok, chicken on the Nachos tasted off. Staff were drinking while working, making it difficult at times to get served. The manager was irritated that the hostess sat us at the wrong table he Came across rude putting a damper on the evening. The band was real good and place has a good looking atmosphere though. There are better bars around.

To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. The place is stripped of any warmth that it had with the dull grey walls and only hightops in the front. Construction guys came in with muddy boots which is okay but none of the staff made an effort to try and clean up some of it which looked terrible. This bar is located in a mall with a grocery store two doors away and when I ordered a martini with olives I was informed they had none. Checked out menu and prices are too high. Left before ordering anything.

The 5 stars is for service. Food also was good; however my server Maddy and the bartender Chris, were great. They clearly care about customers. I also talked to the cook i believe it was dennis? He was an awesome guy who cares. All great people. Ill be coming back because its good food and amazing service.

Had the Hail Mary Beef Dip! It was amazing and a great portion! I couldn't finish the whole thing but it was just as good the next day for lunch!

It was pretty good, it first time I went there. Got a couple undercooked wings thou, nothing too bad, didn't get sick. That's my only complaint. Everyone else's food was fine, guess I got a...RAW deal ah haha.

Ordered the peppercorn burger. It was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while. Well seasoned, great garnishes and very well cooked. Will be back to try more foods.

One of the best bar I’ve been in canada. The bar has an amazing atmosphere and staffs were so friendly. The food is really good.

First time here and most likely last. Atmosphere was nice, was also a man with a guitar singing which we enjoyed. As for our service... we ordered apps which were great then ordered our dinners. When it came out, a completely different meal was layed in front of me. I asked our waitress what it was and that I didn't order this. She then was very rude and told me thats what I ordered... it was not at all. She argued with me telling me I pointed to it on the menu..the menus were closed while ordering sooo that didn't happen. I then even told her ok well my boyfriend will just eat it she then grabbed the plate off table and said fine I will bring you the other dish and stormed away angry.. other meal came out and was not very good at all like it was warmed in a microwave. Now Bill time, my boyfriend paid the bill without looking it over..( yes I know that wasn't smart ) anyway realized after that she charged us for both the dinners.. even the one she stormed away with. And also charged us for an extra drink. Horrible for a server to do that. Needless to say I probably won't return if thats what the servers are doing there to peoples bills.. I wonder how many others have been ripped off or had added on items.

We had our "Happily Ever After" party here with approximately 140 people and everything was amazing!!! The staff were great and the food was awesome!! Thanks to Blayne and everyone else there that made our night so special!!

Terrible customer service, I was just in there today and had a blone girl serve me a beer then left for 25 minutes and there was about 10 people in the pub if that. She then come to take my order ,after I had said what I wanted to eat she had told me ok and that she was done her shift and that she would send on my order to another gentleman, I said ok and she left my booth. I had wait 10 minutes after she had come and said all that and still nobody came to check on me so I left 4 dollars for my beer and exited the pub. I am beyond disappointed as I was hungry and desired to eat at your establishment. I will not be going there again and would not recommend. Tarten tavern was better as the employes actually cared. Have a good day !!😁

Madison restored our faith in the service industry! Great service and lots of laughs. The kitchen staff deserves some credit too! The food was great and came out hot and in a very timely manner. Highly recommend the jerk tacos from their summer menu. We will be back for sure!
