My boyfriend was searching for a place to eat for our anniversary and I was very surprised with all aspects. Honestly, great place. 1. Vibe + atmosphere, beautiful and intimate. Music was nice and chairs were comfy! 2. Service, amazing! Every staff member we interacted with was so so kind. I asked for a wine recommendation and it was a good one! (Blush wine) 3. Food and the delivery of food. I loved how they started off with bread with garlic butter which was amazing. Then came out with the salad/soup and then the entree. Very professional and high end, it was refreshing having things come out in a proper manner like this. The Caesar salad and cheddar broccoli soup was great! 4. Dessert had a nice anniversary note too! So cute. Yummy as well. Altogether, 10/10.

Came here to celebrate an anniversary with my girlfriend. The restaurant was an amazing place with friendly staff. We had an awesome experience and both enjoyed the food. I tried the orange roughy for the first time and it ended up tasting pretty good! Would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

First time visiting. The service was excellent. The waitress was extremely friendly, our drinks were kept topped up and she told us about the menu. We ordered the Salmon, and Prime Rib. Both meals were delicious, and great portions. The sides were a salad and lobster bisque, which hit the spot perfectly. The bread they served at the table was hot and delicious. The price matched our expectations for the quality of food and service. Overall it was a great time and would recommend! The overall atmosphere was great.

We went for a wedding reception. The food and staff were outstanding. Such a beautiful spot, we will definitely return for a date night. Very impressive

Came here for our anniversary dinner and it was a great experience. Our server Chantell was very friendly and attentive. We got calamari to start and I got prime rib as my main and my husband got the seafood trio. All of the food was SO good! The prime rib was so soft and tender and the veggies that came with it were delicious as well especially the mushroom. We got a complimentary cake for dessert and it was very tasty as well. The ambience is really nice inside, very classy. Will come back here forsure.

Hosted a bridal shower here. The staff were incredibly friendly, and accommodating. Jamie was 10/10. Such great people! The food was excellent, I don’t know what dressing they use for Caesar Salad but it was the best I’ve ever had. Definitely coming back here for a date night with my spouse, or even a girls night out.

Wow, perfect 👍 We orders escargot 🐌 it was very flavourful. Garden salad has some marinated tomatoes that was sweet and savoury, salad was dressed in sweet vinaigrette, loved it 💖 The entree we ordered salmon that was cooked to perfection. The second entree was parmesan chicken, it was so moist and perfectly done, the most moist chicken we ever had. Price is on the $$ side but it’s worth the money. They bring lightly buttered bread 🥖 that has the right amount of butter.

First time dining here, decided to try something different for my husband's birthday. The service was excellent. Very friendly, and did a great job checking on us. The portion sizes were excellent for us but some might find it small. The prices a little on the higher end for portion sizes but I thought still reasonable for fine dining. Food tasted amazing amazing! I would recommend Harpos for sure!

My husband's birthday today. All he wanted was a really good prime rib dinner. Owning our own restaurant we dont get out much. We ended up at Harpos in Oshawa. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Good wine selection. Lovely caesar salad. Perfectly cooked prime rib. Our server Frank was attentive and gracious. As a fellow restaurateur I would definitely recommend them. We will definitely visit again.

Amazing. Probably one of the best meals I've had. Seriously. I bought the surf and turf 3 course meal for $99 on the Friday before valentines for my hubby and I. I'd never been here before but saw some great reviews on my Durham Region Eats Facebook group. The restaurant was really nice inside, very clean and classy looking. I got takeaway so I didnt stay, but would come back as the booths look comfy and there is a fireplace. First off, the waitress helping me (her name was Jamiee-Lea) was SO NICE. She gave the best service. She went above and beyond. Im 8 months pregnant and offered me gingerale or a water while I waited. She also offered to carry my takeout for me. Secondly. The food was phenomenal and you can't beat the price. Ceasar salad dressing was homemade and probably the best I've ever had. Big chunks of real parm. The meal was literally unreal. Lobster, steak cooked perfectly, butter, vegetables. Great garlic bread. Cheesecake is amazing. I will 100% be back.

We went for dinner to celebrate my hubby’s birthday. Overall it was a good experience, the food was tasty and the service was good.

We came here for a special birthday and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious, I got the prime rib, my fiance got a steak with mushroom sauce, my vegetarian cousin got the vegetarian pasta (in the photo) and other family members got the salmon (not in the photos but it was very good too). Each meal comes with a choice of salad or soup. We didn't have a chance to snap a photo of the apps before we ate it, but they were good as well. The portions were surprisingly large, most times when I go to a steak house the portions are just big enough to fill you up, but you'd have to get an app as well and those are charged separately. For the average person the main course with the soup or salad that comes with it is filling enough. The server was very knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations on what to eat too. The menu is a little small but the quality of the food was there for each item on it....so I would choose that any day over a large menu with some hit or miss quality items on it. Also I can't remember mentioning that we were there for a birthday, so the server must have overheard it and brought us over the cake in the photo! Which is very nice and not something many places do now adays without you having to ask first. Whenever I go to places like this that are higher end I can usually find something that should have been done better but I couldn't for this place. The food and customer service was amazing so I would come here again and would recommend giving this place a try.

Highly recommend. Went with my girlfriend and we had a fantastic night. Jamie-Lee was our server and she was AMAZING. So nice, personable and funny! She absolutely added to the night and the atmosphere. Prime rib was perfectly cooked and dry-aged to perfection. The house salad dressing was the best dressing I’ve ever had. Honestly don’t want to celebrate a milestone anywhere else after the experience we had, 10/10 would recommend.

Hosted a 60th Birthday party at Harpo’s in their private room- Lisa & her team went above and beyond for us! I cannot thank them enough for a memorable night. The attention to detail, the hospitality and the quality of service was top notch. Food was delicious, hot, and the servers were so careful. I couldn’t have ask for a better dining experience for 20+ guests.

Celebrated last night and had a wonderful experience. Our server Kassandra was lovely. The food is incredible: great flavours, nicely presented, cooked to perfection. Warm garlic bread is a delicious start. Two of our favourites in general are escargot and saganaki, and we loved them both. The escargot had feta in the dish, and that was such a nice addition. The seafood trio and chicken teriyaki were awesome. Cherry cheesecake was a delicious end. It was our first time dining at Harpo's, and we'll definitely be back.

Came here for my wedding anniversary and had a great experience. The food and service was great. Surprised we got garlic bread although late, not sure if it's because we ordered escargots but they were tasty. Smaller wine selection than I expected. Sweet servers. Alley way to the back parking lot is a bit tight. Overall nice experience.

Great atmosphere for a nice dinner. Great staff as well. I'm surprised it isn't more busy. My siblings and I most recently were there for mother's day celebrations

It's our first visit to Harpos in many years. My husband's 70th birthday and gave it a chance. We give it 10+ stars. My husband had calamari Caesar salad and steak I had Caesar salad and portobello chicken. Everything was delicious. Franco was our server, and he was fantastic, very knowledgeable. We will definitely be back !

First time going to Harpo's last night for a birthday dinner. The food was excellent, i had the new york striploin 12 oz steak, service was prompt. the interior seemed a bit dated, and it is more expensive than the keg but it was FINE dining 👌 , i would recommend, but it is not for the cheap. Parking kinda sucks but we were lucky to get a spot at the front. They have this cheese dish that they set on fire in front of you and you put it on garlic bread, it was delicious.

It took me 15 years to dine at Harpos. In my most humble opinion I was 15 years late. The food was fantastic… the saganaki was top tier in addition to the main dishes. Marco was attentive and incredibly welcoming. Thank you 🙏🏽 Don’t wait 15 years like me. Reserve and dine today!!
