I'm new to the area, and while originally trekking to Subway, I saw this little shop and I HAD to go in (I'm not used to easily accessible vegan "fast" food 👀). Everything looks so complicated, but I got the Aristotle bowl with lettuce and smoked tofu, and OH MY SWEET LORD GOD IT IS SO GOOD. I can't go back to DC in person, this store will BANKRUPT ME. I can't wait to try everything else on the menu!!!

Just stepped in to check it out on my way to another restaurant. Was immediately impressed by the patio. Food and service didn't disappoint either. Go with time in hand to truly enjoy all what the place/patio has to offer.

We had tried to call ahead to ask if they had a patio but the call didn’t go through because the Rogers outage. Arrived at 6:40pm when website/google said it closed at 9pm. We asked if they had a patio and they said yes. Staff informed us they could only take cash due to the Rogers outage, which was fine. They then said they were closing in 20 minutes (7pm) because the Rogers outage causing cash-only. I asked if they could still take the order and they said yes. They didn’t have the breakfast skillet or cinnamon buns available. We ordered, paid cash and went to the patio. When I went inside to get serviettes as they were making the food, they said there’s only 8 more minutes they’re open so it’s takeout. Having worked in customer service, I expected them to lock the door to prevent more customers coming in after 7pm but still finish serving the existing customers in the establishment before cleaning up and leaving to close. That is how any customer service job I have worked has treated customers. If they weren’t willing to stay, they should have informed us at the time of ordering that it would be take-out only and we could have decided to go elsewhere to dine in. When I found out they wouldn’t let us dine in, I asked for a refund. After a few minutes, the employee said she didn’t know how to do the refund and the manager wasn’t answering. I told her okay, we will just do takeout. Very very poor customer service. The food itself was not great, not sure if it was because they were rushing to make the food so staff could leave. “Garlic bread” seemed pretty much just like toasted bread with butter, the French fries were a bit burned on the outside but not cooked enough on the inside and way too salty.

Usually love copper branch! Food is amazing 👏 but my most recent visit, today, was a little off putting. Staff member behind the counter prepping food with her mask down around her chin the entire time I was there. And they burnt all my food items. Will definitely visit other copper branches again in the future as most times the good is the best!

Very clean place, the food was delicious and above all this is a Vegan restaurant so you can enjoy your food knowing that it is completely cruelty free. My wife and myself both had the Ultimate Bagel Sandwich, really good!! The manager Kendra was very welcoming and friendly. I have included pictures of the menu in this review. Enjoy.

Good, nutritious, healthy breakfast you can take with you. Looks like they focus on breakfast being healthy. No fat dripping, black bread bun. Also serving is pretty. Couldn’t resist to not take a picture. Price matches quality

Flavourful & filling Vegan food like no other. Little pricey but the food is very well seasoned and portions are filling. Worth the extra couple of dollars. The staff was very friendly & knowledgeable about the menu. If you are looking for quality & comprehensive vegan food this is a great option in addition to Mathilda’s in Oshawa!

I ordered the General Copper Bowl and was absolutely astounded. It was one of the most tasty and flavourful dishes I’ve had. The staff and the environment are as equally enthralling as the food. The only negative thing I can say about the food is the price point. 20 dollars with tax for this bowl is worth it; but, not something I will commonly eat.

Beautiful location with flavourful vegan offerings. Patio is nice in summer. For the prices, I wish the service was better/ more comprehensive. Interesting selection of local beers and excellent vegetarian burgers.

I had a great experience ordering for 10 people via Uber Eats. Everyone loved their food. I had the Aztec bowl, which was fantastic and I will definitely order it again!

Love that there's an all vegan restaurant in Durham! Everything I've ordered has been great, but I'm sad to see all of my favorite bowls are no longer on the menu.

I brought my family to the Simcoe North location in Oshawa, Ontario for the first time. The food and service was exceptional. Kaura prepared the food fresh and she answered all our questions with smile.

Highly recommend the Aristotle bowl. Do you ever feel like a superhero after eating a meal? It made me wanna do the pumpernickel as if I scored one top corner!

Love Cooper Branch! General Copper Bowl is awesome, poutine is so so good. I’ve always thought the bowl could use more avocado, but not gonna take off a star for that! Glad to see you open again! Bring back the lime cheezecake!

From the smile and welcome as we walked through the door, to the incredible tasting food, these guys are great! Friendly, polite and professional staff, topped with great service! The sitting area is clean, inviting and bright! I took my carnivore kids here, and they ate everything! Thanks guys for a cruelty free option close to home! We will be back!

Called Copper Branch in North Oshawa at 8:55pm to order for me and my girlfriend from Markham and was told they were closing in 5 minutes so I would have to make it within that time frame. Matt (big time shoutout) asked me how long I’d be and I told him 25 minutes and he told me that he’d keep the doors open for me and have my order ready if I showed up at my promised time. Got my two delicious orders 25 minutes after close due to the generosity of Matt and the staff. Big thumbs up, and thank you Copper Branch for your great food and flexibility.

Copper Branch in North Oshawa is a fantastic destination for plant-based food lovers! As someone who follows a vegan diet, I was delighted to find such a diverse and delicious menu. The restaurant's ambiance was warm and inviting, providing a comfortable space to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, which made the ordering process easy. Now, let's talk about the food! The options were abundant, ranging from hearty bowls and wraps to mouthwatering burgers and sandwiches. I particularly loved their Power Bowls, filled with nutritious ingredients and bursting with flavors. What sets Copper Branch apart is their commitment to using high-quality, organic, and locally sourced ingredients. It gave me confidence that I was not only indulging in tasty food but also making a positive impact on the environment. I must mention their smoothies and desserts too – they were a delightful treat to end the meal on a sweet note. Whether you're a vegan or just looking to explore plant-based cuisine, Copper Branch in North Oshawa is a must-visit spot. The food, ambiance, and ethical values make it an excellent choice for a wholesome and satisfying dining experience. 🌱🍲👏

Went in here with a friend who is Vegan. Food is amazing. To be honest I haven't had too much bad vegan food before. On a few different occasions we have gotten the pizza and it's always been cooked well and tasty. The place even though a restaurant or I'd consider a sort of bistro feel is very home-like. They have a student discount if you have your card. The pizza in the pic was the omg pepperoni. Which is as with everything in the restaurant vegan. It's a little more expensive than most places but 20 or so for 2 people and a filling lunch that's vegan isn't terrible.

Came in off the street to buy some GF/DF treats. Turns out it was closed for a private event, which is perfectly fine. But what turned me off hard was the manager's attitude. "UH WE'RE CLOSED," she said it an indignant attitude, as though I were to know they were closed and not serving outside customers. The kind barista said "I'm so sorry. I thought we were serving customers, but I guess not. You'll have to come back tomorrow maybe?" Based on this experience alone, I'll probably never go back period. Yearning for the days when that space was occupied by amazing burgers and poutine. Ah well.

Whole store is plant based and the food was absolutely delicious! The smoothie was amazing as well and they have many more options. The restaurant was clean and the staff were very kind. It was a great spot to plug in my laptop and do some schoolwork. I will definitely come back to try other menu items. P.S. The general copper bowl was amazing!

ordered a tempeh bacon and just egg sandwich - since i can't eat normal bacon - and a hot cocoa. looks very appealing! i wouldn't reccomend anyone to eat the tempeh on its own though, it's very, VERY salty so i'm glad i ordered the one with the egg on. hot cocoa was quite bitter and very creamy, couldn't finish the entire drink. wish there was a sugar packet that accompanied it. the staff were very friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere outside rush hours is perfect for anyone looking for somewhere to eat and chill in peace.

Another great experience here. The pesto Flatbread was great and the Buffalo wings were amazing as always. Also like the nice touches of the new decor and the nice saying on the mirror. Thank you!

We got the baked nachos and shiitake burger from oshawa simcoe. The food's good especially the baked nachos which we ate and almost finished in the car. The guy who served us (branden) was so freindly and attentive. The nachos was a lot better than the last time we had it. The shop has great ambiance too.

I am not vegan but got a call from my friend telling me about the best burger he had ever tasted so I decided to come here straight from work to get a taste and boy am I amazed. I had the Shitake Teriyaki burger with a side of sweet potatoes. I was attended to by Manjeed and he was a nice and professional fellow that was patient and very informative. If this is what vegan tastes like then I might have to consider a few things
