This small restaurant had some amazing brunch food. Our party tried three different items including the beef brisket benedict, ricotta cheese toast and eggs and also the short rib hash skillet. Every plate was empty by the end. The benedict was amazing and the homemade scone it was on was superb. Service was great and very friendly. It was our first time there and the server offered suggestions and did a great job even though the place was packed. We also ordered the Paloma and a ceaser and both were very well balanced.

We had such a magnificent dinner here at Ratatouille! The food was absolutely delicious. French cuisine with a subtle Mediterranean twist. And our servers, Connor and Zahra were welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. The recommendations were spot on! We will definitely be back!

My husband and I had the most delicious dinner at Ratatouille Bistro. Excellent service! The beef tartare was a larger portion than expected and perfectly seasoned. The ratatouille Wellington vegetarian plate and lamb shank were delicious! Wine is fairly priced. We shared the pie in a jar for dessert it’s a large portion, very good but a little too much Graham crumbs. Overall the dinner was excellent and highly recommend. We can’t wait to try brunch next time.

This new restaurant had great service! We were tended to very quickly and the waiter (who I can’t remember the name of unfortunately) was extremely knowledgeable on the menu and the chef! He was able to make recommendations based on the vision of the restaurant being “French fusion”. We had the Duck Confit and the Scallop Lobster Risotto. The portions were perfect and flavours were well paired. Definitely a restaurant worth going back to. Ottawa has been blessed with an elevated French fusion restaurant with an affordable and delicious menu!

Great breakfast at Ratatouille Bistro! They had a kid’s menu that offer wonderful choices from chicken & waffle to Mac & cheese and hot chocolate! Everything we ordered was yummy and the turnaround was quick. We especially like the way they made the potatoes crunchy. We arrived quite early around 10am and by around 10:30-10:45am it was all packed. So better come early. Walkable distance to Byward market. It’s convenient if you stay nearby.

It is a charming little bistro near our hotel. The service is top notch and the food arrived relatively fast. We came here for a late lunch and brunch, both were good. The dinner menu is great! My favourite is the wild mushroom ravioli. The mushroom ravioli is super flavourful and creamy, but not overly heavy. Great combination of flavour and texture. The lamb is super tender and seasoned really well. The potato side for the lamb is so yummy, especially with the sauces. Nice and crispy on the outside, soft but not too mushy on the inside! The brunch is just ok. The short rib skillet I got is under seasoned. As a personal preference I feel like it needs something acidic or bright to cut through the heaviness. The potato under it is perfect. My favourite part of the dish. My friend’s ratatouille sandwich is nice. You can talk they used very fresh ingredients. Unfortunately overall it was a bit underwhelming compared to the excellent dinner we had earlier. Would definitely come back for dinner menu next time we are in town!

Good breakfast/brunch options and cozy atmosphere. Portion size was average for a restaurant. Ordered the braised short rib skillet ($22). It was good but was lacking flavour/ salt. Service was good however their reservation application on their website doesn’t seem to work. But upon arrival our hostess was able to accommodate our party of 2. The restaurant is good for smaller groups for dining due to the size. Overall a 7.5/10.

This is one of those places where the entire menu is amazing. We had the sourdough and brie for apps, and tried the seasonal menu (duck pot pie, swordfish pasta) for our meal. The sourdough is perfectly soft and toasted, all the flavours are amazing, and for dessert we had the mango cheesecake which again was so flavourful and soft. The food and service is exceptional, we will be back to try everything.

I recently dined at Bistro, and I must say, the food there is absolutely mouthwatering! every dish was bursting with flavor. If you're looking for a place with delicious and tasty food, I highly recommend giving Ratatouille Bistro a try.

Great meal at Ratatouille last night with my daughter. An unexpected find. The food was amazing accompanied by wonderful service. We enjoyed the vegetable wellington and beef bourguignon. Topped off the dinner with a banana caramel wellington. Serve lovely mocktails as well. Thank you we will be back. Can’t wait to try breakfast/brunch!

Enjoyed our Sunday brunch here and would highly recommend this inviting and cozy bistro! It was busy (make a reservation) but the service was attentive and we didn’t have to wait long for our meals. My husband and I had the most delightful dinner at Ratatouille Bistro! The entire experience was absolutely top-notch. Lovely Zara was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. As for the food, the beef tartare was a flavor explosion, and the wild mushroom ravioli was out of this world. I can't recommend this place enough for a delicious dining experience that will leave your taste buds singing. Five stars all the way!

Great food, great service. Waiter was very kinda and attentive. All their dishes were tasty and beautiful to the eye. I had their crab cake eggs Benedict and it was amazing. Only problem was that it took us a while to get our food. We waited for maybe 30-40 minutes. But overall a great dining experience, would definitely return whenever I'm in Ottawa.
