Very
unimpressed
with
our
experience
at
Prohibition.
My
friend
and
I
ordered
a
pitcher
of
sangria
with
no
ice
because
we
didn't
want
it
to
get
all
watery.
Our
server
said
sure,
but
the
pitcher
won't
be
full,
and
we
said
we
were
fine
with
this.
Fast
forward
10
minutes,
we
get
a
pitcher
of
sangria
that
was
75%
ice.
This
gave
us
two
glasses
of
ice-filled
sangria,
plus
another
glass
of
watery
sangria
that
we
didn't
even
drink
because
it
was
so
gross.
On
top
of
this,
my
partner's
beer
was
just
above
room
temperature.
Do
not
recommend.
(See
picture
below;
note
that
some
ice
from
the
pitcher
is
in
the
glasses
and
some
had
already
melted
at
this
point).
Response
to
owner:
I
understand
that
ice
enhances
certain
drinks;
however,
it
is
clear
that
an
excessive
amount
of
ice
is
added
to
the
sangria
to
save
on
money
rather
than
improve
the
quality
of
the
drink.
This
is
evident
from
looking
at
the
photo
I
posted.
As
I
said,
we
only
got
two
glasses
of
sangria
(which
weren't
even
close
to
full
because
there
was
so
much
ice
in
them)
and
we
couldn't
drink
the
rest
because
it
was
so
watery.
If
quality
was
your
concern,
then
surely
you
wouldn't
want
to
serve
watery
sangria.
After
all,
"juicy
wine"
(as
you
called
it)
is
better
than
watery
sangria,
especially
at
$30
a
pitcher.
Many
other
restaurants
manage
to
serve
excellent
sangria
without
making
it
75%
ice.
