My first ever experience as a 23 yr old in a fighting gym was here and I was very happy about it. Coaches Sasha, Wahab and (I think Ali?) Are all solid guys, very clear and know their stuff and push your to your limits and are good teachers. Although it's a bit pricy and amenities aren't the best for 150$/mo (no lockers, very few bathroom stalls), the classes and underground feel is great. I was here for 2 months then I moved out of Ottawa, but otherwise I would've stayed there much longer. If you are in Ottawa and want to start fighting classes this is the place to go. 9/10

Covid review: Beyond impressed with the professional job done to meet Covid requirements! I've been to a couple classes since they've opened up at the start of this week and it's been a real treat. Sasha screens each member coming in to the gym, has set up the gym to meet physical distancing, and has high standard cleaning practices of the equipment. Sasha has really nailed it and the gym set up should be used for an example for others. So if anyone is thinking about coming back to the gym, or thinking about joining, expect a Covid compliant clean gym, with friendly positive staff and members.

Focuses a lot on implementing better boxing in Muay Thai - which is a good strategy for Ontario Amateur Muay Thai scoring. Great variety of coaches & classes but I like the hard emphasis on learning proper & solid fundamentals first. Women’s only classes at 4;45 on Tuesdays & Thursdays!

Easily one of the most authentic and best martial arts/combat sports gyms in the city (which there don’t seem to be enough of in my opinion). I have been training here for about 1.5 years and have gotten into by far the best shape of my life + learned technique applicable for sport, self defense, etc. The gym has muay thai, boxing, grappling programs as well as athletic conditioning classes, and the facility is well maintained. There are no pushy sales tactics, hidden membership fees, or gimmicks. Sacha is a great guy and an amazing instructor. The environment is welcoming and open to all levels and whether you want to compete or simply train for recreational purposes, you will be hard pressed to find a better training environment in the area.

My girlfriend and I shopped around a bit for a martial arts gym last year, and Ottawa Fight and Fitness was the clear winner. It's clean and very well maintained, membership is a good deal, and, most importantly, the classes and instructors are great. We came in as complete Muay Thai noobs, and there's always a bit of apprehension that comes with that. We were pleased to find that it had the perfect atmosphere for us. Everyone is super chill and friendly, while also training hard and pushing each other beyond their respective comfort zones. Highly recommended.

I train close to 4 years in muay thai and did 4 gyms. Sasha's gym is definitely the best I've been to. Great ambiance! Sasha is dedicated and will commit in helping you reach your goals whatever they may be. I think also the gym fits the needs of both beginners and advanced fighters which is very rare among muay thai gyms. I'm gonna miss you guys!!!

Best muay thai/boxing gym in Ottawa undoubtedly! Having recently moved away from Ottawa, I was a member for almost 4 years and am going to sorely miss classes with Sacha, John and company. The owner and instructors are passionate and dedicated, approachable and encouraging. The gym is always clean and the equipment is top notch. OF&F has a great mix of members that make for fun and motivating classes. Great place whether you are looking to try out a martial art for the first time or if you're more experienced and looking for good sparring partners (promise you your clinch game will improve), OF&F has it all!

Amazing gym, knowledgeable, amazing people and coaches. These guys really ramped it up to make sure their members stay training during COVID. Sacha genuinely cares and is a one of a kind trainer. These guys keep you motivated to go the extra mile. If you're looking for a fighting gym in Ottawa, or just a great place to train, come to OFF.

Ottawa Fight and Fitness is fantastic. It's an extremely welcoming environment for everyone, whether you're a seasoned vet or just an average person looking to shed some pounds. I've taken everyone I know here. I would bring my mom here too, if she couldn't already beat me up. Highly recommended, especially in the midst of the pandemic. I feel especially safe with the numerous protocols they put in place (frequent sanitation between classes, ensuring physical distancing, multiple hand sanitizing locations, etc.).

Sacha is a phenomenal coach, who really does care about his students. I felt immediately welcomed when I joined his gym, and had little to no prior experience with martial arts (Boxing/Muay Thai). Even during the quarantine he has been on top of sending his students daily workouts and bringing the community together. I highly recommend this Ottawa Fight and fitness for high intensity cardio, and learning a great sport with an awesome community

Ever since coming to OF&F for Muay Thai, I've been feeling significantly better physically, mentally, and emotionally. I feel that I am in the best shape of my life and only getting better thanks to Sacha and the excellent team of instructors at OF&F!

Great gym, excellent trainers, and the people who train here are my kind of people! What a great place to learn boxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian Ju Jitsu. You can go online and get a free week, so what are you waiting for? Do it!

Amazing gym for learning muay/boxing/bjj! Great experience and amazing coaches. There was alot of hurdles with Covid-19 but they're taking all the precautions every step of the way. You can walk in, train and leave without ever compromising social distancing with the new system they set up. Highly recommend!

OFF is an awesome gym with experienced and dedicated coaches/instructors. I was a member before and now during COVID-19 pandemic, and while the experience has certainly changed the high standards and quality of the training has remained constant. They have implemented a thoughtful social distancing plan and cleaning regimen that makes me feel very at ease while training.

  • 5/5 Ellie R. 3 years ago on Google
Such an awesome gym!! I'd never done anything like Muay Thai or BJJ before, but a year later they're my favorite hobbies. The new practices for COVID-19 have allowed us to go back to training with some restrictions, which is amazing.

I cannot recommend this gym enough. Very welcoming for newbies. Sacha really knows his stuff. As a woman, you will be learning self-defence + getting good cardio.

I have been training at this gym for about 1 year mostly in BJJ (brazilian jiu-jitsu) and have recently begun training Boxing and Muay Thai as well. The owner (Sacha) is a very easily approachable and down to earth guy. He is the head striking coach and as someone new to stand up fighting I really enjoy his teaching style. The gym has a large number members of all levels both recreational and professional. The pricing is very competitive and there are no pushy tactics to get people locked in to long term contracts. Ottawa Fight and Fitness also brings in various striking experts in for seminars from time to time. Since I've been there both John Wayne Parr as well as Liam Harrison have been brought in for seminars.

Joined this gym a week after moving to Ottawa and have loved it ever since! Atmosphere is laid back, coaches are knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly, and the community can’t be beat - everyone from beginners to pros are welcome. Highly recommended - Sacha and his crew are the best!

Best Muay Thai gym I have ever been to! I’ll preface this by saying I am not a person who has ever loved the gym or working out, but I do enjoy the technical part of Muay Thai. The welcoming and accessible atmosphere of Ottawa Fight and Fitness, along with the great instruction, have made this gym one of my favourite places to be! The instructors are all highly skilled and knowledgeable yet are still able to explain techniques for the less advanced/experienced. Everyone is very positive and encouraging. I have definitely grown more in my technique than what I had at other gyms. Only wish I had signed up sooner. With the pandemic, OFF really came through for their members with initial online workouts which then progressed into reopening the gym. Sacha really stayed on top of all the updates and safety protocols – the result being an amazing set up to meet all the COVID-19 requirements. Every member is screened prior to being allowed in and the class sizes are appropriately limited so each member has their own, individual training space complete with a heavy bag. Rigorous cleaning protocols are in place, with the bags and training areas sanitized between classes. I feel incredibly safe training here and cannot recommend this gym and its community enough!

I have been going to Ottawa Fight and Fitness for years. It is an amazing gym with a really welcoming environment and great instructors. The protocols they have implemented to reopen safely amid COVID-19 are super thorough, and they have gone above and beyond in terms of keeping the gym clean and keeping members informed. Go check it out! You won't regret it!

I attended their evening Muay Thai fundamentals class this past thursday and it was a great experience. The gym has a beautiful aesthetic, more than enough space, all the equipment needed with high quality, and the vibe of an amazing place to go and train. It's a very clean and positive environment with very welcoming people, from all levels and a great coach. If you're looking for great Muay Thai, there is no other place to come than Ottawa Fight and Fitness.
