Unfortunately,
for
me,
this
dining
experience
did
not
live
up
to
the
hype.
The
menu
started
with
an
outstanding
bread
and
butter
which
I
really
loved.
While
the
rest
of
the
dishes
had
some
tasty
and
creative
elements,
something
about
their
flavour
profiles
did
not
match
my
palate.
Earthy
flavours
and
many
charred
elements
added
a
strong
underlying
bitterness
that
I
did
not
enjoy.
Unnecessarily
sweet
radish
chunks
brought
down
a
dish
I
otherwise
really
liked
and
the
theatrical
smoked
tofu
disappointed
the
most
by
tasting
of
very
little
to
me.
It
was
delightful
to
have
the
chefs
present
the
dishes
and
see
the
pride
in
what
they
had
created.
Aside
from
that
though,
the
service
was
cold
and
autonomous
and
it
did
not
feel
like
I
was
particularly
welcomed
or
that
they
cared
if
I
was
enjoying
the
meal.
My
experience
aligns
completely
with
the
other
3-star
reviews
here.
I'm
sure
there
are
people
that
would
really
enjoy
a
dining
experience
at
Alice,
but
I
cannot
think
of
anyone
that
I
would
personally
recommend
it
to.
