Fabulous practice After spending a ridiculous amount of time surfing the net looking for a dentist for my 12 year old I went for Dows Lake. A nervous patient they were kind, thorough, helpful and really took the time to ensure we had the best possible service. They were so professional and made us so at ease that myself and my husband signed up on the spot. As ex pat Brit’s in Canada ( and not to generalise ) but we are not the best in this area but I feel confident that we are in super good hands. As someone who reads lots of reviews I hope I help someone else find this gem of a practice :-)

Cannot say enough good things about Dow’s Lake Dental. The staff are friendly and kind, and make you feel welcomed every time. They’re educated on practices and are always happy to provide a quote before going ahead with things, which is very appreciated! Special shout out to Briana and Danielle for remembering our conversations from the last visit and being so supportive. Feels like a family!!

I came in for an emergency visit a week back and Dows Lake Dental took me in with a smile. They really listened to my concerns and took the necessary actions to help my oral health. Yesterday I came back for a complete exam and cleaning and both Brianna and Dr. E were very kind and helpful with my treatment plan. I have found my forever dentists!!

Genuinely friendly and helpful staff. They were able to see me quickly and took care of my issue with efficiency. Modern tools and a clean environment made it an enjoyable experience (about as enjoyable as you can hope for when you are getting your teeth ripped out of your face.) For the high level of care I recieved I was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable bill. All in all I highly recommend this office and will definitely be returning...for fillings. Brush your teeth.

Fantastic Dental Clinic. I am always very confident in the expertise of the staff. The office is very clean and welcoming. I would go to no other clinic. I want to thank everyone at Dow’s lake for the care they have provided me and have referred several of my colleagues from TOH!

I felt cared , seen under the Dow lake dental staff ( Danielle Menard) and I was treated very well. I wouldn’t be their client if it wasn’t for Danielle, she is fab. Brianna ( hygienist) was friendly , attention to detail and super professional.Dr E was very personable and to the point about my needs. No pushy. I highly recommend this clinic to all the citizens.

Absolutely the best dental experience I have had. Professional, prompt and attentive. As someone who finds dentist visits unpleasant, Michelle and Brianna have completely changed my views. They are gentle, caring and have a soothing approach. Obviously two women who have found their professional niches and it shows.

Great staff and care at this dental clinic! My routine cleanings are always done efficiently (even despite some crowding in my mouth) and the staff and hygienists are great in helping anyone who has anxiety / discomfort with dental visits. There is a tv above the dental chairs so you can even distract yourself with something to watch while you get your cleaning. During my full mouth exam, I had all my questions answered and the staff do a great job at explaining everything they are doing. I had a concern with a referral I had, and they addressed it immediately and set me up with one more suitable. Overall I’ve had a great experience with this clinic.

I have really high anxiety related to the dentist. Today was my first appointment here and I could not have been in better hands. Everyone I met with was so compassionate and caring. I strongly recommend coming here if you are nervous/anxious.

Their entire staff is super kind and helpful! They managed to fit me in for an appointment when I had to reschedule at the last minute. They also clearly explain everything they do at your appointment which is nice and they sent the appointment bill directly to my insurance which was nice to know that my insurance already received the bill and how much it would be paying me back later. Overall would highly recommend!

The whole staff was very kind and understanding of the anxiety I was feeling surrounding my appointment. I felt very understood and supported throughout my time there.

Highly highly recommend this dental office! They thoroughly go through and explain your specific needs and offer a complimentary 3D scan of your teeth which I found to be very cool - so you can see on screen exactly what all your teeth look like. I was able to see the cavities I have and all of my problem areas. It takes away the worry of needing a second opinion because you can visually see the issue. They do everything to make your visit as comfortable as possible and the staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. I've had fairly unpleasant experiences at other dental offices so it's definitely refreshing coming here. Plus their chairs give a slight massage so that's nice!

Stay far away! The general manager is rude and is lacking communication skills. Customer service and client experience below 0 rating! I’ve expressed my concern about the referral made to a specialist last year for my route canal. I went in to communicate and the general manager apparently left me multiple voicemails but NO EMAILS. It is 2023, every dentist practice communicates by email with their clients. The experience was so awful today that I can’t believe it. Will make sure my experience will be heard to my network.

I love that they have a TV on the ceiling to distract you and make the time go by. The RDH I see, Briana is so sweet and always does an excellent job answering my questions. Danielle who works in the office is very personable. The dentists here always do a throughout job explaining procedures and you don’t feel like they are rushing. They are big on communication around pain and dental anxiety. I would absolutely recommend Dows Lake Dental

Bonjour, I just transferred at Dow’s Lake Dental. They are so welcoming, friendly and make you feel at home. The service is exceptional. They care about their patient.

Dr El-Hawary is an excellent dentist and everyone on the team is very friendly. Dr El-Hawary is very good at explaining any questions you may have about your dental concern. She did a crown for me that turned out great. Personally I have always disliked the needles at the dentist, but she is very good about freezing as least invasive as possible. I strongly recommend this dental office. If you are an anxious patient they do have nitrous option as well.

As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted with friendly faces. The experience couldnt of been better, thorough cleaning, in depth overview of your teeth and good conversation when your allowed to freely use your mouth. Would recommend this dental clinic!! Great job.

I got problem with my wisdom teeth this month. Instead of waiting another one month to see a specialist, they brought me in and arranged the extraction for me just in one week. So far so good. Staffs are all very friendly and Dr. E is very professional. Danielle is super nice. Great location too. Highly recommended with many thanks.

Started going here a couple years ago and have referred alot of friends because the services are impeccable. Super professional, non judgemental atmosphere. All the staff are awesome and danielle at the front is especially helpful with managing schedules. Also, comfy chairs and Netflix on the ceiling doesnt hurt 💁‍♀️

10/10 experience with an incredible staff. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to dental appointments but I left the clinic laughing, with a big smile on my face. The whole team is so knowledgeable and I was very impressed with the time and care they all took to explain things to me in detail and make sure I was comfortable. I’ve never had such a good trip to the dentist. After years without seeing a dentist I booked an appointment knowing I would need some work and saw Briana and Dr. El-Hawary. Both of them, as well as everyone else in the office that said hello, were incredibly kind, thorough and compassionate. They addressed all of my concerns and explained everything to me as they went. Dr. El-Hawary developed a treatment plan with me to address issues and get me back on track with care taken for my dental anxiety. The office was clean, warm and welcoming, with extra care taken for COVID as well (PPE, air purifiers, no crowded waiting room, etc). I’m so glad I found this dental team and I’m very grateful for their kindness today.

Incredible! Really incredible! This Dentistry is unlike any other, service here is TOP NOTCH, and A1!!! I felt taken care of better than family here. I’m not going anywhere else! My dentist Dr Kakade is amazing! Super super delicate ANGELIC HANDS. I can’t wait to come back!! Also, this place is super high tech, and gave me a very knowledgeable experience on what’s going on with my mouth. I swear, it’s an experience unlike any other. Today was my first visit. It could not have been any better! Dr. El-Hawary was so sweet, kind and understanding. She explained everything and answered all my questions. I always love coming to the dentist here because literally everyone is so nice and welcoming! I got my wisdom teeth taken out here today and it was a great experience! Everyone made me feel so comfortable and well taken care of! 5 starts for sure!

Broke an upper tooth this morning. Called and Danielle booked me an appointment same day. Dr Kakade was awesome as were all the staff and did an amazing job restoring my tooth. Maybe the best dentist I’ve ever had in my life. Can’t say enough good things about Dow’s Lake Dental!

This dental office is amazing! Everything from the service and cleanliness to the staff and their professionalism. I came to Dows lake dental when I moved to Ottawa and had a great experience. I just finished my Invisalign treatment at this location and have no complaints! Dr. Rania El-Hawary was great to work with and so supportive and understanding of my needs throughout the Invisalign process. I really looked forward to coming to the dentist for the first time ever, I knew that the moment I walked in I'd be welcomed by Danielle their great office manager and would walk out with a smile. Highly recommend!

My visit to the dentist always makes me feel anxious and even more so when it is a new dentist. Briana is gentle, caring, detailing and she made me feel comfortable the entire time. With her well clear explanations and friendly treatment, as well as of the girls at the reception, gave me comfort. I am happy to have chosen this team and I trust them.

Today I had my cavities treated. Dr. Kakade was very kind and professional. Her procedure was precise and I felt no pain at all. She also explained and talked to me appropriately to help me relax. Best dental experience ever.
