I go to this Tanner’s Bar & Grill location with my friends all the time. Haven’t had any complaints in my time there. Usually order the Flavored Fried Chicken Lips with a side of Tots and Ranch. Pairs nicely with a beer and some friends. This location is family-friendly, as well. The outdoor patio is nice to sit at in the summer in this location and is covered.

I love the cheese balls appetizer. I always go on Thursdays for their steak specials. Great food.

Very disappointed. Recommend this spot for dinner to friends admfyer having a great experience the first time. We came in surrounded by many empty tables and did not get acknowledgment until after 25 minutes and one of our guests leaving. Hopefully this is not a normal occurrence… Was hoping it ended there but continued to not receive water until 15 minutes later after our food came out. Food did not make up for the experience either very disappointing.

Wouldn’t recommend trying to watch a Chiefs game at this location. They didn’t have the channels on in time for kick off and even then it was only a select few TVs on the game. I felt bad for the large groups of Chiefs fans with a limited view of the game because they just needed to have a bunch of other games on the TVs apparently. My server Alexis was awesome though! She’s on the ball and attentive. But until management understands how gamedays need to be prioritized I won’t be going back for a Chiefs game ever again. It’s not worth the stress of hoping they have the right channels on the right TVs.

We have been coming to this location for 5 years, all has been good. Today, though, was awful. Bad experiences with two waitresses, terrible food served, which we have ordered in the past. A lot of attitude and whispering and made it seem as the kitchen messing up was our fault. Manager was okay in trying to help us out. We will not be stopping in the near future.

All of the food is excellent, and they have a reputation for that. Yet I'm still surprised at things. They're mozzarella sticks contain a mozzarella of a quality you wouldn't expect in a bar and grill like this. The same goes for their appetizer pretzel; it is really amazingly soft and delicious.

Food was terrible. They put my fish filets in the same container as my salad. So my salad was warm and disgusting. The chicken tenders tasted like they were cooked in burnt grease. I spent about 70.00 on food that wasn't edible. Had to order food from somewhere else to eat . I'll never order from here again.

The fried mushrooms are my favorite here! They have good nachos too. Many TVs to watch the games and great for parties too!

Very nice sports bar even if it didn't have the Mizzou game. The marinated tacos were good. Chicken items are great. The server was great.

Crowded, busy, but we received great service. She bussed a table for us and was attentive our entire visit.

TANNERS has good bar food and good specials. The food is decent for the pricing which is quite fair. Can you get a three though for the cleanliness. Watching the bartender was appalling. I just wanted to order a bottled beer and open the gate myself. Other than that pretty good food for a pretty good price.

Was there for a going away party and the service was really great and food was good too. Super friendly and attentive. Overall great experience and would highly recommend again!

Old standby still works - although I wished I stuck with a burger or the chicken lips as the nachos weren't anything special. That was my fault, not going with what they do best...

The crew turned on the Husker game for us! The food was amazing. Best sandwich that I’ve ever had. The Burnt end Mac and cheese melt sandwich was the best. Paul was an excellent server and very helpful with recommendations! The Bloody Mary with bacon and Pumpkin spice martini were great!

I drove 45 min today to meet my friend for lunch. We ordered fried mushrooms. They were very bland along with the ranch tasted like nothing. Everything fried seemed to be in old grease. I ordered their special for Monday. Steak tips. The normal price was $17 and the sale price was $13. The steak was not cooked to specifications. It was an awful cut of meat. Tough and gross. I put it in ketchup. Which is a first for me. And ketchup didn’t make it better. I left hungry and ripped off. I do not recommend. The cook doesn’t know how to do the job. My friend liked her hamburger she ordered. But 15 mins later started having stomach problems.

They were absolutely packed on a Friday night but we were able to find a table and the service was excellent almost like we were there alone. The food was fantastic as always and the beers were cold.

Good food and service on a Chiefs football night. Unexpected treat - free Bud Light when Chiefs scored first TD.

Great food, get the Buffalo Mac n cheese, and friendly service. Just don’t sit next to the speakers when the dj is around.

This is the definition of a sports bar with tons of TVs easily visible, and with a menu that's sure to have something most people would like. We were greeted right away and had no wait for a table (though it wasn't a big game day). Our waitress was prompt and had a good sense of humor. The breaded mushrooms were a hit with my dad, who loves them, but has a hard time finding really good ones. He gave them a rave review. I loved the flavors of my vegetarian street tacos. The couple we were with thought the Mac and cheese was amazing, and the chicken sandwich was good too. The portions were generous. We'd come here again, especially for a big game.

It’s a fun place with some indoor games and we were here with a big group to party. Their seating space was huge and lots of drinks. The food was average . The service is really great !

Staff was friendly and prompt. Drinks were always full. The charred wings were great. Back room has some arcade games which are fun to kill some time.

One star because it's required to leave a review, two stars because at least the server was nice. Why is this place open? How is this place open? Ordered a lemonade. "Sorry, we're out." Ordered Southwest Rolls. "Sorry, we're out." Ordered Turkey Melt. "Sorry, we're out." Close your doors, you have nothing to serve, bye.

Good local bar. The chicken fingers will either melt in your mouth or be burnt. They have all the 360 vodka flavors. However, after personal experience, I do not recommend taking a shot of every flavor in the same night.

It’s been several years since I’ve been there. I went with a friend to watch a game. I was looking forward to having some fried green beans. Turns out they no longer offer them. Get them back and you’ll get 5 stars. Molly was extremely pleasant.

Great staff and the starters were delicious! The cheese balls were really good, and they had a touch of spice, which made them really good! Worth a try, for sure! Our waitress was incredibly attentive to our huge party, as well! Highly recommend!

Good spot for a couple beers and chicken lips. Always good food, and cold beer. This particular location has a solid bourbon selection too. Often have blantons, eagle rare, and other assorted allocated and hard to find pours.

Food was bland. It was on time & hot but not much taste. Shrimp tacos. Over-done deep fried breaded shrimp drizzled with little spicy mayo & advertised as 'bang-bang' shrimp. Pretty sad actually. Brand new server, understandably nervous but did a great job. Overall, Ok but certainly won't drive across town for it.

Really great bar food! Their salads are amazing and taste fresh (even with delivery). And the chicken teriyaki sandwich is a gem. Found a new favorite place.

Stop me if you've heard this one before - a bar with typical bar food and drinks and lots of TVs showing sports. Above average nachos and fried pickles are offset by above average prices. Tanners just does not do enough to distinguish itself from dozens of sports bars.

Folks who look around 21 and have a valid I.D. Good luck getting a drink. The particular bartender just wants to see a fake so bad and will deny you service even when you present her a valid one. Just a horribly run Tanners, by far the worst one established

This Tanner's is a great place to go to watch a game.  Plenty of TVs that are well spaced around the dining area so if you want to watch more or less any game this is the place. The food is good; I really enjoy their burgers.  They're always cooked to my liking and there are enough different kinds that I can cycle through all the options and not get bored (try the breakfast one; you won't be disappointed).  Admittedly I have not ventured into anything else on the menu - Tanner's = Burgers in my culinary palette. Service is hit and miss.  Sometimes it's spot on and dang near perfect; other times I can sit for 3 or 4 minutes before anyone stops by to greet me or end up with an empty drink for half of my meal.  The odd thing here is it seems the busier the restaurant the better the service.  Regardless, though, the service has never been so bad it's not worth another trip back.

👍👍 Recently enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Q39 South. We ordered two combination plates with ribs and brisket, but different sides (pictured). The ribs and brisket were fantastic. Excellent rub, cut, and bbq sauce! Our sides—Mac and cheese, fries, and baked beans—were also really good. The Mac and chees...
